I can't say enough about Mia, Laron and their team. Of all my wedding vendors, they were my favorite (and easiest) to work with. They were very accessible and easy to reach; I could message my random thoughts and ideas at any hour and Mia would respond almost immediately. They work tirelessly around the clock to get things done so you aren't waiting to get your photos back; mine were sent to me the next day. They are open to suggestions and ideas; I had different visions for my engagement shoot and they were willing to do things out of the norm to make it work. Our photoshoots were fun and unique. I did a boudoir shoot with Mia and she made me feel very comfortable in an intimate setting and it was not awkward at all. Mia is your hype girl! I love their willingness to go with the flow while still getting things done. Mia and Laron complement each other very well. They have different perspective from one another so when they put their heads together, there is more opportunity for creativity, visually stunning work and a unique experience. Highly recommend PKA for any event.

PKA Photography were incredible for our wedding! We had a very last minute elopement, so we were honestly just hoping for basic services. But happy to say we got exceptional instead. Mia and LaRon helped us go through the ceremony timeline, what vibe we were looking for, and some simple directions that would improve photo quality (like going slow and enjoying the moment!!).

Any special request we hit them with was well received and accommodated for. Communication was quick and transparent. The price was highly competitive compared to other photographers we talked to and we actually got even more services than expected in the end. And the end results were spectacular—they really captured the magic of the day.

It was difficult to pick our 20 favorites to get retouched out of all the beautiful photos, and we particularly loved the video edit. The editing process took a few rounds to get what we were going for, but they were patient throughout the process and helped achieve our vision. The only minor "critique" I can think of was that it was sometimes hard to follow the photographers' direction on the day of, but it was at Sunset Cliffs on a loud windy day, so not on them at all.
