Mallowdrama made our cake and cake topper for us. My husband and I have some dietary needs and were not sure we would be able to find a tasty cake that was made without any dairy products. We are both lactose intolerant. Mallowdrama had us come down for a cake tasting. They had several sketches of cakes that they thought might work for us in terms of design. We wanted something on the smaller side, but that reflected DC (the city we love). The cake was beautiful and they made a lincoln memorial cake topper completely out of sugar. It was delicious lemon cake with raspberry filling. Often cakes without milk lack moisture, NOT a problem for Mallowdrama. The cake was moist and delicious! Even my family (which includes a professional chef who often complains about my lactose free cooking) could not believe the cake was made with no milk!

MallowDrama created my my wedding cupcakes and a small cutting cake for my husband and me. Both were a huge hit! In addition, the week before the wedding, we asked them if they could possibly create another small cake for my husband's parents, who celebrated 38 years of marriage on our wedding day. Mary was more than happy to accommodate us, despite the short notice. Both the cupcakes and the cutting cakes were delicious, moist and flavorful. I wish I'd ordered more, and taken advantage of more of the flavors that they offer on their website, because...wow! If it's possible to make it into a cake flaver, I think MallowDrama has already done it. :)

I heard about MallowDrama through friends, and have attended events that they catered. I even saw a wedding cake that was the Leaning Tower of Pisa! They catered my bridal shower in VA, and provided amazing custom truffles for my wedding in NC. They're more than people who make tasty food. The food is beautiful. It's clever. They do way more than expected for the presentation. They're amazing at figuring out from discussing what you want, to making something you could only dream about. MallowDrama is truly where art meets dessert.

Mary and David at MallowDrama make the best chocolate truffles I have ever eaten, hands down, and their cakes and cookies are equally fantastic. Their food is always beautiful to look at as well as delicious -- definitely something you want to show off to family and friends. They are extremely responsive and flexible and have been happy to cater to our picky, offbeat food restrictions without any hesitation. I honestly have no complaints about their service and in fact have hired them on multiple occasions. I am sure I will do so again in the future when the appropriate situation arises. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
