Nikki was super responsive and professional. We did a tasting and went over our vision. Our cake was small (50 guests, 2 tiers) and her completed cake was better than we coud have imagined. We absolutley loved the final product and highly recommend her beautiful work!

Nikki is amazing! We really didn't know what we wanted in a wedding cake until we tasted her samples and then we knew! She made an amazing wedding cake and a very cool, custom Virginia Tech groom's cake. She was fantastic to work with and I would recommend her without reserve!

Nikki from Sweet Ladies Bakery is the best. She made us a beautiful wedding cake for our March 2018 wedding – the cake was as gorgeous on the outside as it was delicious on the inside. We loved it so much that we brought the top tier home to eat the next day! Working with Nikki was wonderful – she made the whole process so easy and fun. The cake tasting ended up being one of our favorite parts of wedding planning. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Nikki again in the future for cakes for other special occasions.

We must have tried 10 different cake bakers before we decided on Sweet Ladies Bakery. What an awesome cake! I just can't rave enough about what a great product, what amazing service, and what a great experience we had with them. Not only did they provide us with our dream cake, but it was so incredibly delicious. They were able to do a different flavor for each layer of cake, and really pulled out a one of a kind cake for our Halloween themed wedding. They are incredibly affordable too. I was so intimidated by the prices of cakes in Northern Virginia but we got our three tier cake for less than $500. Definitely call and at least schedule a tasting! You will understand why you need to go with them after you try their amazing cake!

I can't say enough great things about Nikki and her team. Our tasting with Nikki was great. Even when taking our ideas to her for design, she was able to make great suggestions that we had not considered before. She was very flexible with letting us try a different cake/icing combo when there was a combination that we did not care for. In the end, the cake was beautiful and tasted great! Our guests loved it and we can't wait for our 1-year anniversary cake.

Nikki and her team provided a wonderful, delicious cake for my wedding! I never expected that the cake was something my husband and I would feel strongly about, with all of the other wedding details there were to worry over, but we were surprised at the low quality (read: taste!), and high prices of many of bakers we initially looked at. Nikki was actually the fourth baker we met with, and we knew we wanted her as soon as we left that day! Her home business was very clean and professional, and the cake at our tasting was DELICIOUS! We also had a unique vision - we wanted a "naked" (i.e. frosting-less) cake with berries, and Nikki did not bat an eyelash at this request - rather, she translated our vision into a beautiful (and tasty) creation! Unlike the other bakers we met / contacted, she took into account the fact that an frosting-less cake should cost less than one with buttercream, fondant, etc. (fewer ingredients - it just makes sense!), and offered a great price. Her contract and all of our communications were very professional throughout, and though I never even saw her day-of (that's how good she was!), the cake was beautiful and got gobbled up by everyone :). I ended up working with Sweet Ladies through my venue, which partnered with Sweet Ladies Bakery to provide the cake. It was a pleasure to work with Nikki. From planning through the big day, she was responsive and helpful. During our in-person planning session, I loved the way she sketched out what she had in mind. When I forgot to tell the florist that we wanted flowers for the cake, Nikki was quick to reassure me that everything would be ok. On the big day, the cake was a work of art. It was beautiful outside and the alternative lemon and chocolate layers with raspberry buttercream were even better than at the tasting. My only regret is that I didn’t get to eat more cake during the wedding!

Nikki is incredible! She is gracious at all times. I changed my mind about my cake a few times but she was always cooperative and kind. The cake was delicious and drop dead GORGEOUS! Her prices are extremely reasonable and her design work is of superior quality! Hire SLB now.
