Why can't I gives 6s?!? :-) Julie was AMAZING to work with. She was extremely professional, responsive, and timely. And this doesn't cover the talent! All of our bridesmaids hair looked gorgeous and held all night. And I received so many compliments on my hair too! I loved that each of us 7 girls had different looks but all in the same style. I would highly recommend Julie to any bride in the DC area---she is reasonably priced for a WONDERFUL service. I loved that we didn't even need to leave the hotel room--and for the same price of going to a salon! It allowed us to totally relax and enjoy each others company...amidst the general wedding-day jitters :-) Julie kept us all calm and relaxed though and was fun to be around! Our hair looked gorgeous...Thanks Julie!! Oh and the trial was great, too. She comes to your house and does a dry-run, takes pictures, and talks about anything you may want to adjust for the wedding day hair style. How super convenient! And reassuring!

Julie was my angel! I had the worst bride's nightmare: My former hairdresser got injured a week before my wedding! I was recommended by my make up artist, and I totaly trusted on her!
We didn't have a trial, but I was really calm about it. She did a AMAZING job!! I got compliments all night about my hair! She did exacly what wanted, and I cannot thank her enough! She told me that was meant to be, and I know it was! Thanks Julie!!!

Julie is great! She is sweet and friendly and made me feel completely at ease during my trial and on the day of my wedding. She listened to what I wanted and made some suggestions when I asked for her opinion. I pretty much gave her free reign and she came up with a beautiful style that complimented my dress and my personal style. It was perfect for the day. Julie knew just what to do to make my style hold all day in the August heat, too. My hair looked the same at the end of the day as it did at the beginning. I was so happy!
Julie also did my sister's hair and hers looked great. The most important thing to me was having someone come to my hotel on the morning of the wedding...someone I knew would be reliable and stress-free. Julie exceeded my expectations and she was affordable too! I would highly recommend her to any bride requiring hair services!

Julie was fantastic. She was extremely responsive to any inquiries and questions I had - she usually responded to my emails within a day. She brought pictures of samples of different hairstyles to the trial and worked with me and gave me honest advice about what type of hair style looked good with my dress. She also took pictures at the end of the trial so that I could see what my hair looked like. She then brought those pictures printed out to the appointment on the wedding day.
The day of, she was on time, and extremely professional. She took her time to make sure everything was perfect but at the same time kept within the time limitations of the day. The hair held up all day and night, and even withstood major obstacles (I had a huge accessory placed into and then later taken out of my the hair later that night for my Korean ceremony) and the hair held up! It was great.
I highly recommend Julie for hair styling for weddings!! Her hair styling skills are great, and best of all, she's friendly and very easy to work with.

Julie was absolutely fabulous! She was so easy to work with. I was having a destination wedding, so setting a trial date was difficult. Julie was great to work with though. We did the trial with less than two weeks left before the wedding. I loved her work. She arrived on site on time and did a wonderful job on both my flower girls' hair as well as mine. She is so pleasant and cheerful and just a joy to be around. I would highly recommend Julie. Having her come on site takes a TON of stress of the bride. SOOOOOO worth the money. My hair looked fabulous the entire time. From the time she finished my hair until we left the reception, my hair stayed in place and looked flawless. That was probably a total of 6+ hours. Call Julie. You won't regret it!

Simply put, Julie does great hair. She did all of my bridesmaids' hair and each had a really cool, modern and fun style that lasted all night long. She also did my mother - who has very short hair - and she loved it (which is a huge feat!). My hair was perfect. We did our first trial, and then I decided to use a short birdcage veil instead so we had a 2nd trial with the new veil. She nailed the look I wanted! In addition to her skills as an amazing hair stylist, Julie is sweet and fun. I highly recommend her!

Julie is not only a wonderful hair stylist, but a kind person. She was punctual...actually early and kept me calm while the possibility of rain consumed my mind. She treated all of my friends and family so well and our hair stayed the WHOLE day & night! I received so many compliments! It was perfect! Even after 2 trials, Julie was not only a great stylist, but a reassuring voice. She reassured me that what I originally wanted for my hair style was perfect. She told me to listen to myself versus the million "suggestions" from other people about how my hair should look. Not only did it turn out beautifully [with NO RAIN! YAY!] but she was right....I was soooo comfortable and happy! My mom looked amazing and so did my bridesmaids! Thank you so much, Julie! I will be calling on Julie for ANY event in the future and so will all my friends!!! Thanks SO much!

Julie did a wonderful job with my hair! My hair held up all day long. Just minor hair spray was needed. Julie was very punctual. I think she even came a little early that day :) She is very professional and friendly. Julie takes her work very seriously and she wants you to look your best!

I highly recommend J. Lynn Bridal Hair Design. Julie provided exceptional service. She really helps you look your absolute best. She gave me big gorgeous curls that lasted from 10 am until well after midnight. I received compliments all day on my hair style. During the trial, Julie was so patient and willing to try different styles, which I’m grateful for, because I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do with my hair. She really gave me so many options and then helped me choose the best style. She recreated the look beautifully for the wedding. It was such an elegant, classy style; it made me feel glamorous! Probably what I appreciated most, however, was her calm reassuring presence. On the morning of the wedding, she really helped to settle my nerves. She even stayed later, while my makeup was being applied, to ensure that my hair looked its best. Last, but not least, her prices are very affordable, which I was grateful for. I’m so glad I chose her.

Julie offered a really thoughtful consultation during our trial that prompted me to pick her as my wedding hair stylist. Later, I thought of some changes and she was really flexible about making adjustments. Julie has a great demeanor and was really responsive throughout the whole process- plus, her costs are reasonable. On my wedding day, I received a ton of compliments on my hair! I absolutely loved it!
The only negatives I can come up with were that she was late for our trial and she didn't bring photos of the trial on the day-of (thankfully, I had some in my phone). But, I would recommend her 100 percent.

I booked julie only a week before my wedding. I had trouble finding a salon that would send someone to the hotel I was staying at in DC. It was so much more relaxing sitting in the hotel room rather than traveling to a salon. Julie showed up on time and gave each of my bridesmaid a unique up do.

Julie was easy to work with and professional. She was able to accommodate six maids and one bride hair in one sitting. She followed directions when the girls had a specific idea and was able to come up with cute styles for the girls who didn’t know what they wanted. All of our hair stayed up throughout 12+ hours of wedding day activities including dancing. I would definitely recommend Julie.

Juie is such a sweet woman and she really wants you to love your wedding day hair! On my wedding day, she stayed as long as it took until I was completely satisfied- even waiting until my make-up was completed so that i could see the entire look all together. She was professional, on time, and -most importantly- very patient. Julie is talented, easy to work with, and her prices are quite reasonable. I would highly recommend her!
