Julie was so wonderful and such a pleasure to work with. She did a fabulous job on all of us!! We were all so pleased with her work and all of our hair held up perfectly throughout the evening...even with all the crazy dancing:) Julie is not only a wonderful stylist but a wonderful person!

Julie is amazing! She came to my house for the trial and made my hair look great for my bridal portraits. She sent a confirmation email before my wedding date to be sure we had everything right and were on the same page. She came to my venue (in Louisburg) and did my hair, and both my bridesmaids hair. Our hair looked great! She fixed my hair a little tighter then she did on the trial day since my wedding was outdoors, she wanted to be sure it stayed in place... and it did. I would definitely recommend Julie to anyone who wants their hair done beautifully on their wedding day. She is so very sweet, patient, and professional!

Julie was such a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process from start to finish! She is so professional, nice, and attentive to what kind of style you want for your day. I had my wedding in Washington, D.C. and during our trial, I explained what kind of updo I wanted and she created something that I loved; however, I later found a slightly different, more wavy updo that I wanted for the actual day. Julie was so accomodating and recreated the look perfectly on the day of. She also did my bridesmaids' hair and they loved their updos. She is a very classy, professional, but also down to earth girl, which made it so easy to work with her. I highly recommend!

Julie is awesome! I am so picky about my hair and she did an incredible job. She came to my apartment twice for two trials and came to our venue for the wedding day. She did two styles at my first trial - they both looked good, but I wasn't completely happy, so she came and did a second trial - I absolutely LOVED the result and she reworked it until I was 100% happy.
Julie is completely reliable and just a great person to be around. She helped me find a backup makeup artist for my rehearsal dinner when mine hadn't confirmed just 2 days out!
At the wedding, she was on time and even accommodated an extra bridesmaid at the last minute. Everyone's hair looked amazing and lasted the entire day and through the crazy heat - we started hair at 8:30 AM for our 4:30 PM wedding and all of our hair (me + 5 BMs + my mother-in-law) lasted all the way through the after party and well into the wee hours of the morning. I got so many compliments on my hair, and my cousin, who is getting married in 6 months even said that she wanted to use my hair as an inspiration for her wedding day hair.

I would highly highly recommend Julie. She is extremely reasonably priced, does an amazing job and is so much fun to work with and be around! I cannot say enough good things about Julie and her work!

Julie was in a word PHENOMENAL.

I really wanted someone to come to the hotel to do our hair the day of the wedding, instead of having to get everyone to a salon and back. At first I was thrown by some of the prices ($2,000 on up!) and then I was shocked to see that Julie was incredibly reasonable in her prices. I wasn’t sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing, but it turned out to be great! I read the other reviews on wedding wire and decided to go ahead and schedule a trial.

Julie is so personable and such a sweet woman. Throughout the trial she chatted with me asking what I liked, asking for pictures, talked about the wedding and life in general. It was like getting to know a friend! The trial was on a day that I was going to another wedding that happened to be outdoors. My normally bone straight hair stayed for almost 12 hours (until 2am), and it would have stayed longer I am sure!

Julie showed up early on the day of the wedding and timed each appointment perfectly. Everyone’s hair looked phenomenal, from my Mother to our 7 year old Junior Bridesmaid. I was nervous that Julie was only one person, and worried that we’d not be able to get everyone done, but we did AND we had a nice leisurely day, it never felt rushed! The bridesmaids all had lots of pictures that appealed to them and Julie was able to take the best of each picture and make something unique to each of the girls.

I don’t think I can give high enough praise for Julie, she truly was phenomenal!!!

Julie was amazing! I did two hair trials with Julie and on the day of, she did me, my mom, my mother in law, my grandmother-in-law, my six bridesmaids, AND my junior bridesmaid. Whew!! Everyone looked fantastic and my hair held up beautifully. I wanted a soft, natural-looking updo and I got just that. She was so easygoing and sweet, exactly what I needed on my day of. I never felt like I was pushed towards a particular style; she never said "oh this would look better" or anything like that. When my Mom didn't like her hair style on the day-of, Julie fixed it with no complaints. By the end of our two trials and the wedding day, she was more like a friend than a vendor! Highly, highly recommend.

Julie did updos and blowouts for myself and some members of my wedding party. She is the perfect hairstylist to have around on your big day as she has a truly calming and joyful presence. She is also super flexible - when my mother in law decided last minute that she didn't want her hair done anymore, Julie stated that she would not accept payment for a service she didn't perform. Thankfully I was able to find a bridesmaid to substitute and Julie did a great job curling her long, thick hair. My hair was beautiful and lasted all night. I received so many compliments on it! I loved working with Julie and highly recommend her!

Two words: Oscar Worthy. There's simply no other way to put Julie's talent. My bridesmaids looked amazing and I got so many compliments on my hair the entire night. The final test though, the wedding pictures. My hair was AMAZING!

You've come to the right spot if you want a classy, elegant, red carpet look for your wedding. My best friend is a hair stylist who only does cuts but it still very picky with her hair and she LOVED everything that Julie did.

On top of everything, Julie is truly an amazing person. She knows exactly what she's doing, and she's the biggest sweetheart. You'll be stressful that day but there's something about her that will put you at ease.

She books fast because she's so great so make sure you call and get your time in. You wont regret this decision.

Julie was such a pleasure to work with. I chose her as one of my last minute vendors & boy, was I glad that she was still available on our date. Shes affordable, so sweet, punctual & professional. Everyone who had their hair done by her loved her to pieces. I got nothing but positive compliments on my hair. I didnt do a trial with her, but she took the picture of the hair style I wanted & made mines look almost identical. She made me feel like a princess.

Julie is nothing short of amazing. first off, her prices are INCREDIBLY reasonable, in fact I felt guilty for not paying her more; she is so talented she should really be working in Hollywood. Secondly, my hair looked INCREDIBLY. My husband never notices anything really, but he said he was awed by how beautiful my hair was. I think every single person at my wedding commented on how gorgeous my hair was. More than that, every single girl in my wedding party looked gorgeous too. She was able to do a quick little consultation with each of them and then create a completely gorgeous style that showcased every girl's personality.
Lastly, Julie herself is AWESOME. she is great to be around. she is INCREDIBLY patient and punctual. She kept me so calm on my wedding day. She felt like a part of the bridal party. She is friendly and a lot of fun to be around. I am so happy she was there that day.

Ladies, PLEASE. do yourself a favor. Hire Julie! You will end up looking beautiful and you will not have to stress for even one second about her skills or professionalism.

Julie did my hair as well as all of my bridesmaids and she did an amazing job!! The weather was poor and we were taking pictures outside but all of our hair stayed perfectly! Every single girl was Thrilled with how their hair came out including me! I did a trial run with Julie were I showed her two pictures ouf what I liked and she mixed them together perfectly and I got so many compliments on my hair!!! Not only was her work great but she is such a sweetheart. She really was so sweet to work with and even though we had to be done by a certain time and there were 7 of us she was so calm and cool it didn't feel like she was the hair stylist but just one of the girls hanging out beforehand. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Julie to anone because she was fabulous!

Why can't I gives 6s?!? :-) Julie was AMAZING to work with. She was extremely professional, responsive, and timely. And this doesn't cover the talent! All of our bridesmaids hair looked gorgeous and held all night. And I received so many compliments on my hair too! I loved that each of us 7 girls had different looks but all in the same style. I would highly recommend Julie to any bride in the DC area---she is reasonably priced for a WONDERFUL service. I loved that we didn't even need to leave the hotel room--and for the same price of going to a salon! It allowed us to totally relax and enjoy each others company...amidst the general wedding-day jitters :-) Julie kept us all calm and relaxed though and was fun to be around! Our hair looked gorgeous...Thanks Julie!! Oh and the trial was great, too. She comes to your house and does a dry-run, takes pictures, and talks about anything you may want to adjust for the wedding day hair style. How super convenient! And reassuring!

Julie was great to work with. She came to my apartment for the trial and we took pictures on my digital camera. She suggested washing my hair the night before to make my hair easier to work with on the day of the wedding. This worked well. She had to change my style slightly to work with my part on the day of the wedding, and it looked great. Julie showed up on time, even a little early on the day of the wedding. She came right to our hotel room which was a big help. She did my hair, as well as 2 bridesmaids (up-dos) and a mother of the bride and the mother of the groom (blow outs). Everyone's hair looked beautiful and it stayed in place all day. She accommodated several changes of schedule before the wedding as we finalized our timetable for the day.

Julie was my angel! I had the worst bride's nightmare: My former hairdresser got injured a week before my wedding! I was recommended by my make up artist, and I totaly trusted on her!
We didn't have a trial, but I was really calm about it. She did a AMAZING job!! I got compliments all night about my hair! She did exacly what wanted, and I cannot thank her enough! She told me that was meant to be, and I know it was! Thanks Julie!!!

Julie is great! She is sweet and friendly and made me feel completely at ease during my trial and on the day of my wedding. She listened to what I wanted and made some suggestions when I asked for her opinion. I pretty much gave her free reign and she came up with a beautiful style that complimented my dress and my personal style. It was perfect for the day. Julie knew just what to do to make my style hold all day in the August heat, too. My hair looked the same at the end of the day as it did at the beginning. I was so happy!
Julie also did my sister's hair and hers looked great. The most important thing to me was having someone come to my hotel on the morning of the wedding...someone I knew would be reliable and stress-free. Julie exceeded my expectations and she was affordable too! I would highly recommend her to any bride requiring hair services!

Julie was fantastic. She was extremely responsive to any inquiries and questions I had - she usually responded to my emails within a day. She brought pictures of samples of different hairstyles to the trial and worked with me and gave me honest advice about what type of hair style looked good with my dress. She also took pictures at the end of the trial so that I could see what my hair looked like. She then brought those pictures printed out to the appointment on the wedding day.

The day of, she was on time, and extremely professional. She took her time to make sure everything was perfect but at the same time kept within the time limitations of the day. The hair held up all day and night, and even withstood major obstacles (I had a huge accessory placed into and then later taken out of my the hair later that night for my Korean ceremony) and the hair held up! It was great.

I highly recommend Julie for hair styling for weddings!! Her hair styling skills are great, and best of all, she's friendly and very easy to work with.
