Mrs. Joyce is a lovely person with a great personality. She listened to our ideas and had lots of ideas of her own. She really delivered and is worth every penny.

Vivian has been wonderful to work with. She was eager to hear out my vision to make it a reality. Her exact words were, "I think I am more excited about your vision than you are"– what a dream to hear from an event planner and decorator! She is very professional, experienced, and well-respected among the community of event planners/vendors. She also has been responsive and made herself available to me throughout the planning process. I had the pleasure of touring my venue with her and hearing other vendors around, who have worked with her, sing her praises. She "makes it happen" and is resourceful. I cannot wait to see what we do with my upcoming wedding!

StrikingTrend Designs did such an amazing job at making my wedding and reception vision come to life!! I had a chat with Kate ant the beginning of wedding planning and told her my color schemes and sent her some inspo pics for both events and Kate delivered even better than I could have imagined. It looked like a dream walking into my wedding and reception! It had such a modern yet luxury look. The copious amount of florals and centerpieces were a dream come true for me! Kate has such a talent for decor and vision that I barely had to tell her what I wanted, she just understood! When asked, Kate is honest and will share what may or may not look good which is so nice to have especially when you are a bride making so many decisions! I can't and will not stop recommending her!

Custom Light and Sound is a very busy place were all of the local DJs get there sound/lighting rentals for their weekend gig. We opted out in getting a DJ for our wedding, since you can do so much with a mixer and an iPod... So we spent the money on a kick ass sound system and dance floor lights. Even though they are a very busy place on a Friday, they take their time to show you how to setup the equipment and make sure you have everything before you leave.

Simply B Events went to great lengths to ensure our wedding day and everything leading up to it was exactly what we wanted and more. Bernadette was extremely professional while handling all the "stresses" for me (the bride) that come up in wedding planning and preparation. Simply B also managed to throw in some surprise decor that made the theme of our wedding come together perfectly. We are very happy we chose Simply B Events for our wedding. I would definitely recommend Simply B Events!

I hired Event Decor by Ghazala for 3 events in the triangle area, two of which were in downtown Raleigh for a 3 day fusion Bangladeshi/American wedding. Ghazala Auntie and her husband were professional, polite and very aware of how to bring the vision of each event to life. While I hired her for just the backdrops for each venue, she was able to give us a wide variety of backdrops to choose from. Additionally she and her team made sure they understood each venue, how to set up and break down within venue rules, and even took the time to visit each location prior to event day to ensure she knew what to do. She made recommendations for what would look good and I can say when we walked into each venue, the backdrops were breathtaking. Guests were lining up for pictures in front of the backdrops. I would 100% recommend hiring Event Decor by Ghazala for your next South Asian event, especially if you're getting married.

Travis made the beautiful rustic hand-crafted benches for our wedding ceremony. We looked EVERYWHERE to find someone to make custom benches for our ceremony and were overjoyed when we found Travis and Beckie. They also made us rustic wooden candle holders and wooden slabs for our centerpieces. Wonderful, kind people!

I looked for months for a company that could do a cute and unique custom sign for my wedding, but everything was SO expensive. With a limited budget I just wasn't able to spend $600+ on a neon sign for my wedding. I stumbled across HappilyEverNeon and assumed it was a scam because of the great promos they were offering. I dug a little more, look up some reviews, their instagram, etc and decided to proceed with my order and let me tell you, I AM OBSESSED with my neon sign. It's my new last name and will have on the photo backdrop I'm building with my dad! Can't wait to have this in our pics and in our movie room in our new house after the wedding in November 2023!! :) The sign is exactly how I customized it, they were very responsive, and the shipping was quick! Cannot recommend enough!!

My (now) husband and I wanted to have a unique rehearsal dinner/welcome party for our wedding guests. Karaoke! And thankfully we found the absolute best in the business to make it happen! Daniel Kelly at Raleigh Event Production (NC Karaoke) made all of our karaoke dreams come true! He was extremely helpful, from start to finish, quick to respond to emails, and was just a joy to work with. He arrived early, set the equipment up while we were able to enjoy our guests, gave the best tutorial, and came back at the end of the night to break it all down. Our friends and family couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had and it was truly the perfect start to our wedding weekend. I have a strong feeling we'll be going back to Daniel for more karaoke fun in the future!
