The lighting for our wedding reception was PHENOMENAL!! A huge thanks to Lee and AVP for making our dreams a reality.

We booked the space with a vision of turning a blank canvas (literally a big, white room) into something beautiful, colorful, and uniquely us. After several frustrating months of searching for a vendor that could meet our lighting needs while staying within the budget we'd set, we happened across a comment somewhere in the vastness of the internet that mentioned AVP. It was just a simple response to someone else's post about another lighting vendor saying "Try contacting AVP - their prices are reasonable, and they do a great job." That's exactly what we did, and boy were they spot on.

We were looking for a lighting solution that would transform that room, and AVP did exactly that. From the bistro lighting on the patio to the gobos on the ceiling to the color washed walls -- eveverything was spectacular.

What we enjoyed most about working with Lee and AVP is that though while we were probably relatively "small potatoes" when compared to other jobs they work, we never felt that way. From our first meeting, Lee made us feel like our event was important and was genuinely excited about making it look the best he possibly could.

Lee and AVP's flexibility, patience, and attention to detail were fantastic. But most importantly, they delivered. We couldn't have been happier with the results, and we received numerous compliments on the lighting. A catering manager at our venue said it was the most beautiful wedding she'd ever seen -- thanks largely to AVP!!

I loved working with AVP! They were super responsive to my first inquiry, came up with a package and price that fit my needs, were super flexible with setting up a run-through and explaining how the evening would work. They took plenty of time to show me tons of lighting options, upgrades if I wanted them, explaining where the lighting would be most impactful, etc..

You really can't go wrong working with such nice people - and spending money on lighting = worth the money! It made such a difference to the beauty of the room! AVP was a pleasure to work with from the initial service to the payment process to the wedding day. They worked closely (and well) with our reception venue and just POOF! Beautiful dramatic lighting that totally set the mood in our ballroom!!!

Ashley was tremendously helpful. She went above and beyond--including taking out personal time -- to make sure we had an enjoyable event.

AVP transformed the Maymont Nature Center Terrace. It was beautiful and amazing. I never knew what lighting could do until I saw AVP and their work! This lighting company was amazing.! The wires were hidden , they were pleasant to work with, and the lighting added so much to the decor! Ashley worked hard to find us a tablecloth for the cake table that would allow the light to shine through. The prices are amazing compared to others in the area! You won't be disappointed!!!

AVP is a quality company and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I corresponded with Ashley and throughout the process she was very responsive, positive, friendly, and professional. She really paid attention to what we wanted and seems to enjoy what she does, which makes the experience more enjoyable for clients like me! I can't say enough good things about our whole experience. AVP created the monogram for my wedding and lighting throughout the room. Many of the guests complimented my husband and I on how magnificent the venue looked. I am thankful that they were available to assist me on my special day and I could always count on a timely response from the staff. I could not be happier :) A+++++

AVP was awesome to work with! I had a specific look in mind for my wedding and they executed it perfectly and for a lot less than some of the other big name visual design companies! I am a wedding planner myself and was extremely picky about what I wanted to how I wanted it done. AVP exceeded my expectations and I have recommended them to several other people.

I the service was expensive, but I really think it made my reception extra special. Ashley was very helpful and made sure that they did everything to my liking. I would definitely recommend them.
