We were referred to Lamb's after an unfortunate tragedy happened when our cake lady died. While we were very sad about this turn of events we were not disappointed with the cake we got from Lamb's. I called to make a cake tasting appointment. They read me the flavor options over the phone and I got to pick as many as I wanted to try at our appointment.
At our appointment (we were allotted 1hr) we were presented with a cupcake of each of the desired flavors we wanted to try. Once we decided on the flavors we liked we worked with a staff member to design the look of the cake. She had many photos to show us and was very helpful in fine tuning our ideas. Since our colors were Eggplant and Ivory there were bits of deep purple icing that was going to be on the cake. The staff member warned us that the dark purple could stain teeth and clothing. We later switched to a purple ribbon in replace of the purple icing. There were no issues with the change after the original order was placed.
The cake was on time and looked just as we had imagined. It was moist and so very tasty. They even provided our venue with extra boxes for leftovers.
We had a 3 tier round cake (cheaper than square) with butter cream frosting. Set to serve up to 95 people. I think our total with delivery was about $324

My wedding cake was not only beautiful but it was also delicious. I received tons of compliments and while my design was simple, it was exactly as I requested and it was delivered on time. This cake exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

They had the best flavored cake and it looked amazing! They were extremely helpful and provided me with a cake that I loved! Only thing I would recommend is making sure someone checks the writing to make sure it says the right thing. The letter on my cake was wrong, but we made it work.

Our wedding cake from Lamb's was beautiful and delicious - and WAY less money than a lot of other expensive boutique bakeries wanted to charge us - even with a delivery fee! You do meet with them in the middle of a grocery store, so don't expect a private room with tablecloths - but the product is great. We had a four-layer stacked cake with four different flavors and all of them were wonderful. Guest after guest told me how delicious the cake was. One guest who I like to call my "cake expert" tasted three flavors, it was so good! The team was very thorough in making my designs come to life. I insisted on sugar flowers - which they don't do in-house but they ordered them in for me. We can't WAIT to get our anniversary cake! YUM!

We were excited about our wedding cake for our wedding. We had fun meeting and tasting with them. However, when the cake arrived at our wedding cite, they did not set up the cake correctly. Also, they did not have the right filling for our cake. It was a little dissapointing. Another thing that happened was that when we were charged for our cake they charged us too much and it took a week or so to get it fixed because the "manager" was never around to help us. I would be a little cautious about recommending them to anyone

I heard that the best cakes for brides on a budget come from this bakery, and I am a believer after having used them. They matched a frosting color to a tie, used a lacy ribbon I found, and delivered exactly what we wanted at the right time for a low cost with little work on our part. Couldn't ask for more!
I think they also give the couple a complimentary "top tier" for their one-year anniversary, so that's an added bonus!

Cheap, amazing, tasty cakes for a super cheap price. Bottom line.

My cake was beautiful. I didnt see it till my wedding day and was blown away. The cake was amazingly moist and tasty. The cake held up for two weeks in the fridge and was just as good as the day my husband and I said I do and cut into it. Yummy, I would buy any cake for any occasion from this bakery. These people definitely love their jobs and know what there doing. Thanks to them my wedding cake was a success! FYI- I had my cake delivered, you should too.

Best price in town and one of the best cakes in town! Everywhere else was hundreds of dollars more expensive! I can't believe that we lucked out like we did. Delicious cake, huge variety of designs, you really can't go wrong!

The cake looked and tasted amazing! I had several guests asked me where we got it so they could get future cakes from there. The process would have been easier if we went in knowing exactly what we wanted and brought in pictures. Since we didn't we had to take several trips out there and it was out of my way so that was kind of inconvenient. It would have been great if they woud have had an online way of submitting pictures. The end result was fabulous though so it was worth the work!

Lamb's was able to execute a kind of unique cake and even provided a tasting of our exact cake prior to the actual day. We wanted to have "rainbow chip" cake...Beaverton Bakery told us they couldn't do it, which worked out great because Lamb's absolutely was able to do it, and for about HALF the price!

The cake was gorgeous and they are HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper! The met with me and got a good understanding of exactly what I wanted. The only gripe I have is the delivery costs are little high. To go from Portland to Estacada it was $100.

I do not like cake at all and I LOVED our wedding cake. On recommendation from another couple recently married, we went to the Garden Home Lamb's Thriftway to sample cakes. We went with a round, 3-tier cake. The bottom cake was orange with orange bavarian cream and the top two layers were pink champange with bavarian cream. YUM! I can't wait to order another for our anniversery. The price was great and the cake was beautiful. Just as I asked for. I know...it's a Thriftway, but trust me it's just as good as any specialty cake designer.

Lamb's market bakery was wonderful. The food was delicious and I would definately recommend them!
