Helen Bernhard Bakery, Need we say more? What a fantastic experience working with them. They made the most beautiful custom wedding cake that truly exceeded our expectations! Everyone raved about it not tom mention was the most delicious cake ever! We love the fact that our wedding cake was made by this bakery during their 100th year anniversary. We had a Classically Elegant Style wedding and the Cake was indeed a "Star"! We cannot thank you enough and will be in as per normal for more yummy baked goods! Best, Greg & Kirk

We chose to do a dessert table at our wedding instead of a traditional wedding cake. The desserts from Lux Sucre were absolutely delicious and such a hit with our guests! Their tasting box made the process of choosing the desserts so easy and fun and their team was very helpful and communicative in the planning process. They delivered the desserts pre-wedding and picked up their trays at the end of the night without a hitch. Can’t recommend them enough!

We had a great experience working with Petunias for our wedding. I am vegan and many close friends and family are gluten free, so Petunias was a great option. We loved how easy it was to order a tasting box and there were so many amazing flavors it was hard to choose! We did chocolate with berries and vanilla lemon berry cupcakes as well as our small cutting cake and every last cupcake was gone! Everyone loved them, regardless of dietary restrictions

DB Dessert Company baked and designed a beautiful wedding cake for us. Our white chocolate raspberry cake was delicious! Working with DB Dessert was stress free, easy, and professional. We cannot thank them enough. I'd recommend them to any engaged couple.

We did not have a traditional wedding cake, instead we went for a gluten free "sheet" cake. It had four different layers and tasted great. Several of our wedding guest have Celiacs, so we decided just to do one gluten free cake. Most people didn't even know it was GF. Also was a good value for what we got!

Kati made a PHENOMENAL groom's cake in the shape of an R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R. The cake looked amazing, with great care and attention to detail. In addition to that, it had functioning headlights and taillights, AND underglow. Finally, it tasted great! No fondant was used, and the wheels were fudge -- what a surprise treat! We (and our guests) were completely blown away by how stunning and tasty this cake was. Kati was so pleasant to meet with, and did a truly outstanding job in this work of art. We will be looking for reasons in the future to order baked goods from her again!

Because we were planning a destination wedding, we had to rely on my mom and sister for cake tasting and coordination. Papa Hyden's was very easy to work with, setting my mom and sister up with a tasting menu and consulting on several different options. Out of the several Portland area bakeries that they visited, Papa Hyden's was by far their favorite based on the flavors and taste of the cakes, frosting as well as decor. When we were able to visit about a month prior to the wedding, we were able to do our own tasting and confirmed that the cake was delightful. Not only were our flavors interesting and delicious, Papa Hyden's nailed the overall look of the cake that I was hoping for as well. In comparison to many other bakeries, I would highly recommend Papa Hyden's as an awesome option for high quality at a good price.

I haven't written a review yet and our wedding was two years ago, but I've been meaning to! I brought in a photo of a cake I fell in love with and she replicated it perfectly and it was delish! She also made us an awesome anniversary cake! I will be using Pastry Girl for all special occasions in the future!
