I haven't written a review yet and our wedding was two years ago, but I've been meaning to! I brought in a photo of a cake I fell in love with and she replicated it perfectly and it was delish! She also made us an awesome anniversary cake! I will be using Pastry Girl for all special occasions in the future!

We had a fun theme that crossed Oregon beaches with a mutual love of otters, plus 40's Swing Era. So we asked for a cake that evoked ocean colors and surf, with a cascade of seashells and starfish spiraling down one side - with room for a cake topper which featured us as otters in our wedding gear! Besides acing that, Laura makes incredibly delicious cakes that are just right, not too sweet and full of flavor.
We had one layer flavored with caramel and the other with coconut. Absolutely fantastic. Can't recommend her enough. We will have her make our 1st Anniversary cake to celebrate next year!

Having Pastrygirl make our wedding cake and cupcakes was one of our favorite parts of the whole wedding! She was super easy to communicate with as well as listened to our every idea. Our cake was ridiculously beautiful and tasted amazing. Laura is extremely talented and was perfect for us. She went above and beyond to create the perfect wedding cake. She has an eye for detail which totally shows in the presentation of her cakes. I still can't stop looking at photos of the cake! All of guests raved about the cakes as well. She also has different flavors of cake and frosting, including lavendar which was a huge hit. Thank you so much for creating the perfect wedding cake! Cheers.

Pastrygirl is WONDERFUL!! Laura at Pastrygirl provided us with a lovely cake for our small wedding reception. The cake was both beautiful and delicious! She set up a tasting for us at her location - which was SO much fun - and we selected 2 combos...earl gray cake with caramel buttercream and almond cake with both vanilla and chocolate buttercream filling, all covered in beautiful fondant. She also let us use a tall pedestal of hers to display our cake. Another note, we are a same-sex couple and were readily embraced by Pastrygirl. I recommend Laura and her team without reservations.

Laura at Pastrygirl was so, so amazing and really went above and beyond my expectations. From our first meeting, to the final product, Laura's professionalism and skill showed through the entire process. Our cake turned out perfectly and I my guests loved all three flavors we chose. Laura has true talent and amazing work ethic and because of that I'll be sending her referrals for the rest of 'Pastygirl's life.

We found Pastrygirl as a walk-in to their storefront shop on Stark, but that has since closed. Still - the owner/baker does cakes to order. They were super affordable and gorgeous!!! The cake was amazing, everyone loved it. Plus, she had cluten free options. I don't know her number but if you google it I think her website is still up with contact information on it!

Love love love. My cake topper and cupcakes turned out amazing. They were just right, not too sweet but PERFECT. Everyone enjoyed them and the peacocks molded on the top of the cake was beautiful, definitely captured what we wanted :)

This was the BEST cake I have ever had! There were many more guests RSVPing in the last few days than we first expected and Laura was so great at adjusting our order to fit the right number of people. (Although, thankfully there was lots left for the hubby and I to enjoy afterward!) The cake was exceptional. She catered to my every whim- All MARZIPAN instead of gross, tasteless fondant like other places. (I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat gelatin but still liked the fondant designs...All the guests were amazed at how delicious the decorations were!) She hand painted everything, including 3-D, hand formed flowers. This cake was HUGE, GORGEOUS, DELICIOUS and VERY WELL PRICED! Only $500 for what could have easily fed 150 people and she didn't charge extra for decorations!! And shhesh! The flavors! 4 layers all different! At the free tasting she had endless combinations for us to try and it was love at first taste:) Don't go anywhere else!!!

Great small bakery. Tasting was fun, without any pressure. Loved being able to make our own combinations and try out lots of stuff (served plain mini cupcakes with little bowls of the various frostings/fillings for us to mix and match!) Ordered the cakes, and had no problems with our family picking them up. Beautiful, simple and exactly what I wanted! Plus, absolutely delicious. As someone who makes wedding cakes, choosing this was very important to me and they were just awesome!
