We went to David's Bridal for our Bridesmaids dresses. Because my bridesmaids had a smaller budget, David's Bridal was a nice compromise. While you don't really get the one on one attention, they did have a nice wide selection of dresses and colors to choose from. And the fit was surprisingly very tailored for the price we paid. I would recommend David's Bridal especially if you are on a tighter budget, their bridesmaid dresses are very reasonable. Just don't expect to have that one on one customer service.

I am in love with this store! Jocelyn is a great assistant manager. She took care of my every need. My consultant was Luwan, she was also great but there is no comparison to Jocelyn's superb attention. I got so lucky to have her help me in everything! Every time I had a problem she was front and center helping me out. Thank you ladies for doing such an amazing job! The David's Bridal team in Rockville is AMAZING! They simply understand the importance of the dress! Wohoo!

I can't remember the name of anyone who helped me over there, but everyone I came in contact with during my process was very nice and knowledgeable. I'm not really the frou frou girly type. So the first time I walked in, I was very happy to be greeted with a woman who really knew her stuff. I'm a big girl, and my consultant (she told us she was Greek if that helps) was right on top of things. She pulled several different styles of dresses for me to try and did not rush me in the slightest when I couldn't decide between a couple. I had my mother come with me next. My original girl wasn't there that day, but the next lady that helped me was just as attentive and never ever rushed me on making a decision. When the originally they tried to give me a veil, I told them no veil, only tiara. I got no arguments or pushing to do the whole veil thing. In between purchasing my dress and taking it back for alterations, the store moved locations. The move didn't seem to trip them up at all. The ladies working at David's Bridal were still right on top of their game. So far, I have not had any trouble with them "selling" my information to anyone whom I did not want it to go. I have seen a lot of complaints about that, and I can tell you honestly that I have not faced those issues at all.

Overall very pleased with Davids! You get what you get when dealing with large chains, but the staff and service at the Rockville location was great, and i simply loved my dress!!

I have a new found love for David's Bridal. Before I began my wedding planning journey, I just thought of David's Bridal as a big cheap chain store, but had never had any experience with them. I shopped at several bridal boutiques, some high-end, and not only did I find my FAVORITE dress at David's, but got the most affordable dress and best service there as well. They made me feel comfortable and allowed me the breathing room I needed to search for and try on dresses with my mom, sister and friends as my primary critics and support. Their follow up was also outstanding and my alternations were done well and quickly.

There was no champagne to be served, no one pampering me, but that's not what I like or expected. Besides, after saving hundreds of dollars on my dress, we were able to take my mom and bridesmaids out to lunch afterwards and had some fun, fruity drinks there to celebrate :)2C fruity drinks there to celebrate :)

Great Experience

I knew I would be buying a dress and having it altered in different parts of the county, so I decided to go shopping at David's Bridal. I purchased a dress in a Florida store, and got my bustle put in and had the dress pressed at the Rockville store. My one complaint is that after paying several hundred dollars for the dress, and another hundred for the bustle, they charged me $10 for a bag. Shouldn't that be included with the purchase of the dress?

i would not recommend davids bridal to anyone. yes, i absolutely loved my dress. but they gave it to me with a broken clasp, said they would fix it and DIDN'T, and they were not nice about it. Also, they say they can take orders over the phone...i tried to order one of my bridesmaids dresses and i gave them all my info....never ordered it! and they didn't tell me about it, my maid of honor had a friend who worked at a store in philly who had to tell me. they sent my MOH the wrong size dress 2 TIMES. and one of my bridesmaids had a 12 week color...they sent it to her 7 days before the wedding in the WRONG SIZE. she couldn't get another one, so she had to get a completely different dress that didn't match. all in all, i do not recommend davids bridal.

My wife found the perfect dress the first day we went.

I saw two dresses on the internet that I wanted to try on. I went to the bridal show and instead of the two dresses I wanted, I got those in my dressing room as well as four othes they thought I should see. I had already picked out what I wanted and they insisted that I try the other two dresses on. When I took my bridesmaids to pick out their dresses, I am not sure if I had a new consultant or not but thank god I checked her sheet because she had sizes all mixes up for my bridesmaids and my maid of honor had a different style dress but the consultant didnt even have that on her paper.

Hard to get any help here at all. The dress prices are worth it, but it is the florescent light-style fitting room with an attendant who doesn't really help you get into and out of dresses. I'm glad I had a friend with me to help.

It's David's Bridal. The home of the $99 wedding gown. You get what you pay for. I love the dress I got, I love how it looks and I love that I only paid $600 for it. Alterations there are a rip off, but the come with the guarantee that if they mess it up they'll replace it, which is nice, but they shouldn't mess it up in the first place. They have dresses that fit ladies of every size and shape and have sizes bigger than a 6 to try on in the store. Since the average American woman is a 14, having a dress that you can actually see what it will look like on before you buy it helps a lot. Some of the bridal consultants here are very helpful, others aren't. It's a crap shoot. If you don't like the consultant you were given, move onto someone else.

All of my bridesmaids got their dresses from here and the had horrible customer service and they are understaffed ! Would not recommend this place! Hated going there !!

I bought a simple but elegant Oleig Cassini Ivory Dress. My attendant Tara was quite polite and her customer service skills were exceptional.
The negative thing about this store is that they are very disorganized due to low staffing. I say this because my bridal party was a party of 8, yet my attendants supervisor kept pulling her away for prolonged periods of time to attend to other customers even though we had an appointment. On weekdays they seem to do fine but on Saturdays it is crazy.

David's Bridal of Rockville provided the dresses and shoes for my entire bridal party. They were professional and highly attentive. They provide quality products and services at a very reasonable price. I would recommend any bride on a budget to use David's Bridal for wedding attire. -The Gamboas 02/04/2011

My BM got their dresses from this location. The store staff is friendly and professional but not terribly knowledgeable about their dresses or the material. They served their purpose for having reasonably priced dresses to purchase but I wasn't impressed overall. I had a bm dress shipped and I asked for follow up on when it was delivered. I had to go into the store to get an answer because they never called back and they didn't appear to know how to pull up the info.
