I'm adding this on here to make life easier. If you don't speak Vietnamese, it is hard to find traditional Vietnamese vendors. :) I married a Vietnamese man, found someone to make my traditional Ao Dai near his family in Philadelelphia. Because we live in Virginia, and we were training for a triathlon, I lost weight and needed last minute alterations to my Ao Dai's .. they were too big. Phuong did a wonderful job to tighten them up for me. A very warm and loving person, she taught me how to say "Bride" "Groom" and "Beautiful". She wished us a very happy life and was so happy to see the pictures after the big day.

I had an exceptional experience with Zoya Atelier for my wedding dress alterations. I purchased the Nile by Kyha, a fitted silhouette with full beading, and was nervous about getting it altered, especially since beading can complicate the process. My dress was very large from the waist up as I had purchased it a few sizes larger to fit my hips, which made it quite a challenge. Throughout every appointment, they took the time to walk me through what to expect and kept me updated on the progress. I was always involved in the process, trying on the pinned alterations to ensure they were on the right track before moving forward. They added built-in bra padding, a corset, and boning—things that weren’t originally included in the dress—making the fit both comfortable and flattering. I am so pleased with the final result. Zoya’s Atelier truly brought my dress to life, and I highly recommend them if you have a dress that requires extra attention to detail. They handled my dress with care and made it fit perfectly.

My wedding dress had a bodice completely covered in elaborate beading, that needed to be taken in on the sides and the neckline altered. I was so nervous that the beading pattern wouldn't look right after it was altered. And I only had a couple of months to get the alterations done by my wedding day! Yan Yan did such a great job meticulously altering the bodice that it looked like it hadn't been altered at all, but somehow just magically fit perfectly now. And she got it done in plenty of time, too.
