Olga is nothing short of a miracle worker! I bought my wedding dress from her and then she did all of my bridal alterations. She is truly such a talented dressmaker. She added on cap sleeves to my dress, hemmed it, covered an area with lace, and sewed a family lace piece into my dress. She brought lace back from Barcelona to make my veil with and made sure my sleeves matched. Every detail she made sure was thought through and perfect. Don't go anywhere else- trust Olga with the most important dress you'll ever wear.

I can't recommend My Sewing Studio highly enough! Olga did a beautiful job altering my wedding dress!

Olga's workmanship was very precise. The dress fit me perfectly by the end, and I felt beautiful in it. She was also very responsive to what I was looking for: she made little adjustments at the end to ensure the dress fitted me exactly as desired.

Olga was very professional and responsive. After my first fitting, we discussed the schedule for alterations and approximately when each fitting would take place. Olga stuck to that schedule and the dress was finished well ahead of my wedding day.

I appreciated all of my interactions with Olga. She was very kind and warm: exactly the person you would want to work with to prepare your wedding dress. She took a lot of stress out of potentially overwhelming process.

Olga was an absolute lifesaver to work with. I had a VERY complex Mori Lee ballgown with a beaded bodice that needed to be taken in... no easy task. Not only did she maintain my gown's beauty while making it actually fit me, but her expertise helped us solve problems we didn't even know we would have. My gown had a halter neckline that I said didn't bother me (it didn't feel bad at all) but she was concerned it would rub. And what do you know... even though I didn't feel anything, after wearing my dress for a while at a fitting, my neck was red with irritation. She was able to line it with something softer that didn't irritate my skin. If I had gone to someone less knowledgeable, I wouldn't have even thought to have it lined. She did a 3 point bustle and spent a long time teaching my mother how to bustle it, and letting her practice. We were VERY appreciative of this- if she had just added the bustle and sent us on our way, my mom would have had NO IDEA where to find the points in my huge skirt and we wouldn't have been able to bustle it. We paid one price upfront and had many (4 or 5?) fittings, where she made sure each little bit was exactly where I wanted it before making the alterations. Two days before my wedding, she steamed my gown before I picked it up so we could minimize wrinkles from it sitting in its bag. She was a pleasure to work with and it was obvious that she really cared about how everything would look on the big day. We couldn't be happier with how my gown turned out!

I can't say enough good things about Olga. She made my shopping experience wonderful. From the dresses she has in the store; to the way she is with each bride - she truly goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable.

Olga was incredible to work with and I cannot sing her praise enough! I had two dresses for my wedding and both needed a good amount of work. I never felt rushed during an appointment and she offered various solutions to things I needed fixed on my dresses. She rebuilt the back of my reception dress and even found lace to match the dress exactly. Two days before my wedding I decided I needed something else fixed on my ceremony dress and she fit me in and didn't have me leave until it was perfect! Both came out exactly as I had pictured!

If you're looking for a master tailor/seamstress/dressmaker who is personable, warm, and beyond talented, look no more. Olga is simply amazing. I was in a bit of a bind with my wedding dress -- it was two pieces from two different designers and though it was the most beautiful dress and the perfect match, the shades of ivory weren't the perfect match. Because I was getting married outdoors, and the sun illuminated the colors, it was really important to me that the colors matched (they were only slightly off, but enough in the light to make me want to correct it). Olga helped me find an organza silk that matched my ball gown skirt PERFECTLY. She actually took a piece of my skirt with her on a trip to NYC and looked for the exact match... and she found it! Olga deconstructed the bustier top and rebuilt it beautifully. As a deep lover of fashion, to see the process was incredible. I thought to myself, it's women like her behind the scenes at these ateliers making all the magic happen. I truly felt so at ease knowing my dress was in her hands. And as a matter of fact, she altered both of my wedding dresses and my rehearsal dress! I will continue to use Olga for my special pieces and highly recommend you use her, too! You will not be disappointed!

Olga did a phenomenal job with my wedding dress. I was panicked when I came to her thinking that my dress was in need of more altering than was realistically possible. It was about 2-3 sizes too big. She took on my dress and by the time it was done, it fit me like a glove.
