While planning my first daughter's wedding in 2010 I found Celebrations by Denise on the internet while looking for local bakers. We tried a sample of her pound cake and were very impressed. Denise baked and decorated a beautiful wedding cake for 75 servings in July of 2010. In 2011 when my second daughter became engaged we know that Denise was our cake lady again. She did not let us down. This time we needed a cake for 100 in a completely different style. Not only was the cake beautiful but it was very good.
My husband picked up and transported both cakes to our wedding venues in Charlottesville -- an hour away. Denise packed up the cakes in sturdy boxes and helped him get them placed in our vehicle so that they would not be damaged on the trip. I know that if our weddings had been in the Richmond area she would have delivered so this was a nice bonus. Thank you, Denise!

Denise did a wonderful job with my wedding cake. It was perfect, from the taste of the different cake layers to the beautiful design she created. I sent Denise pictures of my wedding dress and she designed my cake with designs from my dress. I could not have been happier!! I have and will continue to recommended Denise to other friends and family!

Denise was responsive and professional, delivering my cake, contacting others rather than me and changing colors on the cake at the last minute. Moreover, the cake was incredibly delicious (I'm picky) for a fantastic price. Couldn't be happier!

By far the best cake I have ever had in my life! My husband and ALL of our quests could not believe how yummy it was. It was also so beautifully done, and exactly what we wanted. We still crave it! I can't wait till next year for our anniversary cake. Thank you tons Denise.

Denise was very professional and delivered as promised. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and had real flowers on it. The best part about it was that it tasted homemade. Also, all of our guests mentioned how delicious our cake was. If you are looking for someone to make your cake who is professional, nice and can make a beautiful cake taste as good as it looks then go with Denise!

The cake was great but even better was the lack of stress dealing with Denise. She was warm and friendly. Nothing was complicated and everything was perfect. That's exactly what you need on that wonderful but crazy day. Everyone loved the cake but the bride and her mother loved Denise.

Denise did a wonderful job on our wedding cake. We selected a different flavor for each layer and our guests loved all of the choices! She was very patient with me, even when I forgot to drop off our cake topper the week of the wedding. Her price was very reasonable for the Richmond area (a better value I believe than other bakers in the area) and I would use her again in the future.

Denise was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive and was willing to work with us to make our cake how we wanted it. The cake was delicious and we got so many compliments on it. :)

Where do I begin, planning my wedding cake with Denise was a wonderful experience. Denise listened to everything we wanted and gave us more than we could ever dream. On my wedding day my wedding cake looked beautiful; it was more than we could ever expect. The work that she put into my cake was breath taking. She paid very close attention to detail and is very open minded. Denise is very reasonable, there were no hidden fees. Her contract is self explanatory and not any legal mumbo jumbo. Through her product it is easy to see that Denise enjoys baking cakes and making brides happy. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable about her product. She is very genuine and only wants the best for the brides. Denise makes her cakes from scratch and every flavor and filling taste really good. My wedding cake had my guest drooling for more.

Denise did a fantastic job baking my daughter's wedding cake. It was not only beautiful but it also was very tasty. We had to travel over 60 miles on a very hot day and she had packed the three layer cake securely so that it would not become damaged. My second daughter is getting married in a few months and I intend to call Denise for that cake as well.

I found Denise when searching the internet for someone to make a wedding cake for my daughters wedding. She not only had numerous options and flavors available but was running a special priced cake that so closely resembled what my daughter requested that we jumped on the offer. When we realized we had more guests attending than originally planned, Denise prepared for us a "Groom's Cake" in another flavor for the same price per slice as the bride's cake. I would highly recommend her to those searching for a special cake!

It was a wonderful experience to work with Celebrations by Denise, she was very easy to work with, gave me great suggestions and we had a beautiful cake for our wedding. Her prices were very reasonable, I had priced several companies before deciding to work with her and I am very pleased with the results.
