She is such a sweet, kind-hearted human who pours love into everything she bakes. She is truly an artist. I’m so so grateful we found her on short notice. She made my wedding dessert dreams come true!

Here’s the long story:

I originally found her on a whim - we were about six weeks away from the wedding day - and I didn’t have a wedding cake or dessert option. I had thought I would source local Williamsburg bakeries and combine them into a dessert bar. What I didn’t know - is that the only way to do that is if you are personally setting it up - because (and this makes perfect sense, it just hadn’t occurred to me) if it’s from different places, due to liability, the venue staff can’t touch it. Only those who made the food can set it up (or you) to avoid cross-contamination. So when I found that out, I panicked - and sent messages out to all the available event bakers in Williamsburg - realizing that it would be much easier to have one person create, design, and manage the dessert buffet. Kadi was the first to respond via text within hours of me filling out the form. I had a very specific vision - I wanted the table to be filled to the brim with dessert options. But not just on trays - I wanted every space filled with fruit, greenery, and flowers that weren’t baked goods. Basically - a lush dessert grazing table. We went back and forth on who would supply the fruit, and at some point, we decided it would be easier not to do it.
But then Kadi got inspired. She told me she would take it on - and man did she deliver. She went to 3 different grocery stores and hand-picked each piece. As you can see in the photos - my dessert bar looked like something out of a Dutch still-life painting. Absolutely stunning.

Another thing Kadi did that was above and beyond was she allowed us to use the cake and specialty Italian pastries that the venue was providing us - and set them in amongst her design. I am so grateful she was willing to do that. Otherwise, I would have been up a creek.

My guests are still complimenting us on Kadi’s creations- My guests’ favorites were the espresso chocolate chip cookies and the chocolate mousse shooters. My favorite was the lemon chiffon cupcake - light and delicate - just the perfect amount of lemon - not an ounce of artificial flavor.

She was a key player in making our wedding day so special. I’m endlessly grateful she was a part of our vendor team.

Kadi created a stunning and tasty cake for my wedding. She also provided a variety of additional desserts - cupcakes, banana pudding shooters, sweet potato tarts, and brownies that our guests said were absolutely delicious! Kadi was easily accessible and greatly contributed to the wedding our dreams.

Kadi is a phenomenal baker to work with! After our previous baker closed her business she linked us up with Kadi and I am so glad she did! She went above and beyond for a couple she only worked with for a month and the cake turned out perfect for our wedding! If you are looking for a unique touch to your cake she is definitely the one to work with!

Our cake was beautiful. From conception to design, she helped to bring my idea to life. She even included our 3 fur babies!

When it came to deciding on our wedding cake, we knew we wanted it to be magical. I have never understood why the wedding cake is something that is sometimes overlooked, or sold short, as it always has its focal moment and is constantly on display.
We wanted our cake to be talked about and to be a focal point. Oh boy, Kadi did not disappoint! Not only was it visually beautiful, it also tasted absolutely amazing! It was a total win/win. The design consultation was a breeze. Kadi offered her expert opinions towards our vision and she created exactly what we had imagined and then some! The macrons were also a huge hit and were so pretty. Our gf guests were thrilled to have been treated also.
Kadi is a joy to work with and a pleasure to know. Her work is flawless and she follows through with the flavour. I highly recommend her to anyone and know when we need our next cake, she will be the first person to call!

The cake that Kadi made for us was so special and unique! It was exactly what I wanted and envisioned for our wedding cake. The attention to detail and customization went above and beyond, and everyone was raving about how amazing it was! Even my groom - who has underwhelming reactions to just about everything - was really excited to see the details Kadi put into our cake! I honestly can't say enough about it. Kadi was absolutely fantastic to work with from beginning to end! She has incredible cake and dessert bar options and seems to be able to make anything you can for. We chose a small 2 tier cake with 6 dessert bar items and could not have been more pleased. Everything was so delicious and we got so many compliments from our guests. Kadi really listened to what we wanted and delivered exactly what we asked for. She also provided gorgeous cake and dessert stands. I would recommend Kadi Bakes over and over!

We got married 2 weeks ago today and asked Kadi to make our wedding cake for us. We’d only seen pictures of her work and read her reviews but I can honestly say it was the best and easiest decision we made! It was BEAUTIFUL (exactly how I imagined it) and tasted amazing!! We did a semi naked cake and sent her some general pictures but she went above and beyond. With fresh fruit and all the colors we loved, it was perfect. Guests were talking about the cake for at least a week after. Thank you so much, Kadi! We’ll definitely be back for special events ;)

During our first conversation I told Kadi we wanted to have cookies and something a bit outside of the box. From there she offered numerous creative ideas and suggestions and we found the perfect mix! Kadi created a cookie bar and cookie cake and was there at our wedding scooping ice cream sandwiches. It was such a great touch and each guest had their favorite item. Everything tasted great! Kadi was always thoughtful and accommodating and provided a great tasting from the start. The next morning we sat around with family eating leftover cookies, having coffee and talking about how perfect everything was the night before.

Kadi had quite a task for our wedding. We needed two cakes, a special surprise Birthday cake for our close friend on the night of our wedding and our wedding cake. Each had to be very unique AND vegan. Kadi hit it out of the park. Every guest stated how moist and delicious the cake was and the attention to detail for our desert them was outstanding. Kadi can make you a beautiful cake without harming a single animal that tastes FANTASTIC! Plus she is lovely and kind and fun :)
