My wife and I have always loved ODB. We love them so much we decided to use them as our vendor for our wedding cake and of course, they did not disappoint. Our cake was so good we are still having guests asking us about it! If you're looking for a great bakery in the Blacksburg area, look no further than ODB. They are so great. Jen was super helpful in helping us figoure out what we wanted, coordinating everything, and having the cake delivered seamlessly. Drop by and grab breakfast, lunch, or a pastry too! Felicia at Bollo's made my wedding cake for me, and it was absolutely the most delicious cake I've ever eaten in my life. She did a wonderful job making exactly the cake I wanted, even down to putting it together in a way she'd never done before just so it would work better for me. It was reasonably priced and just out of this world good. I'd recommend that any time you need a cake for any occasion in Blacksburg or the surrounding area, you go to Bollo's and get Felicia to make it for you.

My maid of honor and I went for a tasting and had a great time. There were about five or six frosted huge cupcakes for us to taste. I am not even a fan of chocolate cake, but that was the best chocolate cake I had ever eaten. Needless to say, that ended up as our wedding cake flavor. We also wanted some special details on our cake to reflect our Phantom of the Opera themed wedding and those were well incorporated. The cake was amazing (and we even picked up some doughnuts for the bachelorette party!)

Gobble Cakes did a wonderful job with our dessert. I have disease and needed a gluten free option for our wedding. In addition, we didn't want a traditional cake for our wedding day, so we scheduled a tasting with Gobble Cakes and my husband was very impressed with their selection! He was able to taste quite a few options and we ended up having 8 different flavors of mini cupcakes for the wedding day. To top it off, they made special order gluten free cupcakes so I could have some treats, too! On the day of the wedding, they came to the venue and set up the tiered cupcake stand and iced all of the cupcakes on site. They looked wonderful and all of the reviews I've heard from my husband and guests were that they were excellent! The gluten free cupcakes they did were also excellent even though I didn't get to eat one until we got home the next day! :)

My now husband and I both knew that we wanted to have ice cream at our wedding, so we were thrilled when we found Sugar Magnolia's ice cream cart. This affordable, bright, and fun cart was a HUGE hit with our guests! The wide variety of ice cream flavors displayed in such an adorable and eye-catching way was a huge addition to our wedding. One of my favorite parts of the ice cream cart is that everything is included in the price - the set up, tear down, 2 hours of serving ice cream with the servers provided, the cups, the spoons, and napkins. The owners of Sugar Magnolia even came out to our venue prior to our wedding to make sure that they understood the space they would be in, and how to best serve us and our guests. I highly recommended this business for your wedding!

Sarah was both my wedding makeup artist and cake baker, and she is an absolute gem! With an innate eye for beauty and design, she transformed me, a nearly 50-year-old lady, into a youthful, blushing bride. With cool-toned hair, warm-toned aging skin, and a nighttime wedding that required darker colors, my makeup could be a challenge, but Sarah did a beautiful job. What really sets Sarah apart is her super upbeat and positive attitude. While we had only met once before for the trial, Sarah felt like she was one of our lifelong friends, and she was super sweet to my 88-year-old mother. She was a delightful addition to Team Bride. From the intricate details of our makeup to the delicious cake and cupcakes, her talent was recognized and complimented by numerous guests. I am so grateful to her for making our day so special, and highly recommend Sarah / Primrose for both makeup and a wedding cake.
