Additional Questions and Answers
What is the difference between and wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?
A wedding planner is hired either at the beginning of the planning process or towards the middle to plan the full or partial part of the wedding. A wedding planner becomes the coordinator the day of the wedding assisting with every aspect of getting ready, set-up, ceremony, and reception. A wedding planner usually puts in between 200-400 hours of total planning and coordinating.

A wedding coordinator is typically more widely known as a "Day of Coordinator". The Bride hires a coordinator to wrap up all the details typically 1-3 months before the wedding and assist with every part of the wedding that day. The Bride is in-charge of planning the entire wedding. A coordinator usually puts in between 25-50 hours of pre-wedding meetings, paperwork, rehearsal and the actually wedding day.

How far in advance should I hire wedding coordinator?
You want to hire your "Day of Coordinator" at least 3-4 months before your wedding. This will allow enough time for progressive meetings and paperwork. Most Brides do wait till the last minute to hire their coordinator, if this is the case, make sure your wedding isn't as logistical complex. This types of wedding usually only need a few if just one progressive meeting.
