Angelica Weihs, a former world traveler, journalist and restaurateur plans, designs and coordinates weddings and events in Los Angeles since 2002. As most of her banquets had been organic and from local farmers, it was a natural next step to launch Green Weddings &Events in 2005. After the LA Times picked up on the trend and interviewed Angelica in June of the same year, a door to many beautiful and eco-conscious weddings was opened. Her professional, eco-conscious and passionate team has created over 300 gorgeous events. I recently worked with Angelica of Green Weddings & Events at the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Topanga Canyon. It was a gorgeous event from a photographic standpoint. Everything was set beautifully and ready before I got there! The ceremony was graceful and elegant and was carefully orchestrated by Angelica, who is as friendly, attentive, and easy to work with as you can possibly imagine. The wedding itself was very intimate, and I heard guests remarking about how nicely it all came together with the decorations, the food, the cake- truly a remarkable event.
