We decided to use Glitz and Glam for wedding hair and makeup for my May wedding and we are so glad we did! They did an incredible job on hair and makeup for myself, my 7 bridesmaids and mother of the bride and mother of the groom. They were very flexible in the months before as we changed the number of people a few times. They were so kind and did an excellent job! Everyone loves how their hair and makeup turned out and it lasted the entire day and night even through the wind and drizzle! I would absolutely recommend Glitz & Glam! -

Mel and her team at Glitz and Glam Bridal Hair/Makeup were absolutely AMAZING! I cannot recommend them enough!
They completely transformed myself and my party making us feel utterly gorgeous. They are clearly the best artists you can hire and all the while are deeply kind. Their prices were affordable and they were willing travel down some very winding, twisty Scituate roads early in the morning to our getting ready location. They were incredibly professional, prompt, responsive, and helped to keep me calm and feeling fabulous. I highly recommend them for your wedding!

When I was planning for my wedding, I knew I wanted to use the same company for both hair and makeup that would travel to the location where we would be getting ready. Scheduling with Glitz & Glam was seamless and Mel communicated with me every step of the way. She was organized, professional, and extremely knowledgable because of her valuable experience working with so many brides and wedding parties. I highly recommend booking a trial appointment because upon meeting Mel who did my bridal updo and Kelci who did my makeup I felt instantly reassured that I made the right decision in booking Glitz & Glam. Both Mel and Kelci nailed my vision and truly took my inspiration photos into consideration. In addition, they were both so flexible, patient, and open to hearing any suggestions and on my wedding day they were an incredible team working together to ensure we stayed on schedule. My makeup and hairstyle stayed put all day and all night and I never had to make any adjustments. My bridesmaids will tell you the same! We received so many compliments about how beautiful all of us looked that day and it's because Mel and Kelci truly care about you and want you to feel your best and most beautiful self. Jess and her team with Glitz & Glam are super talented and made me and my bridesmaids feel beautiful and comfortable. We had some last minute changes that made me a bit stressed but they were communicative, adapted quickly and made sure the day went smoothly. Jess was very attentive to what I liked/wanted to adjust from the trial to make the style look just how I wanted. I don't usually wear makeup but these stylists are pros (especially loved the airbrush for a natural feel!) Highly recommend their services for your wedding day, plus they travelled to us in RI which was amazing! -

From the moment they arrived, they brought such a fun, calming, and professional energy to the morning. Everyone loved Kelci’s energy and fun personality—she kept the vibe light and joyful, which made the whole experience even better. Brenna is meticulous and perfected my hair beyond my wildest dreams. She has such an eye for detail and truly made me look and feel like a movie star—there are no words!
Kara and Beatrice crushed it as well, making my bridesmaids look and feel absolutely glamorous. Every single person looked stunning, and the looks held up flawlessly throughout the entire day and night.

Such an amazing experience!
I had such an amazing experience with Glitz and Glam Bridal. They were super communicative, friendly, and extremely professional and were able to adapt to last minute changes. Everyone in my bridal party including myself don’t tend to wear make-up and they were able to make us all feel beautiful without looking too over the top but did just enough so that we photographed well and the hair and makeup lasted the whole day without as much as an eyelash or Bobby pin falling off. Couldn’t recommend these ladies enough! -

Turned me into a princess!
I can not recommend the girls at Glitz & Glam Bridal enough. They played a huge part in my special day, making me feel like an absolute princess on my special day. At the trial run, I showed some inspiration pictures, but mostly gave them creative freedom since I do not usually do a lot of makeup. When I have gotten my hair and makeup done in the past for other people's weddings it always looks nice but I feel like I never truly look like myself. These women did an absolutely phenomenal job at giving me the perfect amount of glam while actually maintaining what I truly look like! It was incredible. On the morning of my wedding, I feel like they fit right in with my bridal party, mom, grandmother, etc. They turned that getting room into a blast! They took away all the nerves and jitters I had that morning. I really hope there is an event that I can use them again in the future! -

Best. Day. Ever.
Jess, Mel and Kelci were absolutely amazing for the day of our wedding. They traveled to us, as our wedding was in Connecticut, and were on time and ready to rock!
Not only did we have the BEST time getting ready with them, their work was amazing and lasted the whole night. What’s better than laughing and relaxing the whole morning, and come out looking like beauty queens!?
We had 7 bridesmaids, 2 moms and myself, and they worked through all of us like a well oiled machine. They were even punctual on their end time, and ended right at the appropriate timeframe. They were happy to accommodate any changes asked for, and even helped a bridesmaid with adding in a ponytail hair extension.
They are HIGHLY recommended and super skilled at what they do. Their awesome personalities are an added bonus, and made the day that much more fun. -

Amazing Hair & Makeup
I am so pleased with my whole experience with Glitz and Glam! I was looking for a place that did both hair and makeup on location and they were the best! My trial was amazing and both ladies were flexible when I asked to change some things. My wedding day makeup did not budge and I cried a lot!! My hair stayed curled even through the wind during our photos and after I was so sweaty from dancing! My bridesmaids, mom, MIL and SIL all loved what they got and they all looked so gorgeous! I can recommend this place enough! They also include tip in their pricing which was so helpful and kept our morning really smooth! -

Going with Glitz and Glam for my wedding hair and makeup was a great decision and I could not have been more pleased with the results! Both Jessica and Kelcie were amazing, professional and so so kind to work with. I am very self-conscious and had never had my makeup professional done before my wedding and they made me feel so comfortable and stress free. The trial was crucial for me becuase it helped me see what I liked / didn't in comparison to what I thought I would and they were both so understanding of the changes I wanted to make. I can't speak highly enough to how beautiful they made me feel on my big day and I will be forever grateful to them both! My wedding party also varied and had a handful of people who had lots of reservations about getting their makeup done by someone else and Kelcie really helped them to feel comfortable and her confidence and charisma was much appreciated! Everyone in the group loved their hair and makeup. -

Mel and Erica were both fabulous on my wedding day!! We communicated back and forth beforehand, adjusting the schedule and making sure everything was set, and they showed up on time and ready to go on the big day! Mel did hair for myself and the bridesmaids while Erica did the makeup for all of us. Both were SO personable, so nice, and truly cared about making sure we all looked great and were happy!! My bridesmaids commented that the two of them really took their time and cared (which means at other weddings this didn't happen). I would 1000% recommend this company and the two of them! I cannot say enough good things about Glitz and Glam Bridal! Mel and Kelci are absolutely fabulous and they made me and my bridesmaids look perfect for my August 11th wedding. My hair never holds a curl well, but with Mel’s expertise the curls lasted all night and the style was exactly what I wanted. I have sensitive and acne-prone skin, but the way Kelci did my makeup made it look flawless and I loved how she listened to me so carefully when adding glitter and natural looking fake lashes. My bridesmaids had all been in multiple weddings and they agreed that this was the best hair and makeup they had ever had done. I highly recommend them!! -

Wedding hair
I had my wedding on 9/17/22 and Lauren is the one who did my hair and my bridesmaids and I could not be happier than how everyone’s hair especially mine came out. I loved it even more than the picture I had shown her how I wanted it done. She was even very professional when it came to doing my 6 year olds hair who didn’t want anyone to look at her until it was done. I would highly recommend glitz and glamor on doing hair for your wedding and they even do make up as well. 10/10 -

We had Mel (hair) and Kelsi (makeup) for my wedding. I did my trail with both of them, then on the day of wedding both adjusted to my notes. They both arrived to the hotel early, had a fun party attitude, laughed with us and kept us on schedule. Everyone felt beautiful, especially myself and my mom. My mom specially has a lot of discoloration around her eyes and you can’t even tell in the photos. My hair is extremely thick and everything held the whole Night. Was extremely happy with the entire service from start to end, would hire them both again. -

Mel and Jess went above and beyond to make travel arrangements during a blizzard (January 22). They were on time, easy to work with and did an amazing job! A few bridesmaids wanted to make small tweaks after the fact and they were more than happy to stay for touch-ups.
Mel also did hair for my friend’s wedding in 2017, which is how I found her. We both loved our bridal styles!
Pricing is also really fair (based on all the research I did)! -

Glitz & Glam did such a great job with my wedding hair and makeup! I was on the fence about airbrush foundation and false eyelashes and the stylist really helped me decide. The salon was also very flexible when I had to add two bridesmaids' hair styling to my contract a couple of weeks before the wedding, and they resolved a scheduling issue very quickly on the morning of. I'd definitely use Glitz & Glam again! -

I have a lot of hair. Really long, heavy, pin-straight hair that doesn’t like to be styled or hold any shape or curl at all. So I knew that creating the Hollywood waves “Jessica Rabbit” look for our wedding day was going to be quite a challenge.
Jessica and Melanie and the entire Glitz and Glam team were fantastic. They worked with me through two trials to get it right, and when I took a look at myself in the mirror on our wedding day, all I could say was, “Wow!” I felt so beautiful! My makeup was perfect too - not overdone but just the level of drama I was after. The colors she chose were perfect for my skin tone and reddish hair. I was so happy with the finished look.
I had about 11 lovely ladies - all with different hair and skin types, and of varying ages - who also wanted hair/makeup services that day, so we had 2 hair dressers and 2 makeup artists travel to Newport, RI and work for about 4 hours to get us all looking fabulous. Everyone looked great!
Really importantly, my girls all said they loved their looks too. This made me feel so good because I’ve been a bridesmaid in 6 other weddings, and that is certainly not always the case. I’ve seen girls clean their entire face of makeup off, or re-do their entire hairdo in the bathroom after paying hundreds of dollars because the professional just didn’t capture their look or style.
The team is also really down-to-earth and we had a lot of fun with them. This is really important - you will be spending your wedding morning with these people; Make sure you like them! We played music and danced and sang in our hotel suite at Gurney’s, and it was all a lot of fun. No stress. I definitely recommend Jessica and Melanie and the entire Glitz and Glam team! -

Lovely team!
I suffer from trichotillomania and as a result in really sensitive about my missing eyelashes. Alex was SO nice and reassuring both before and during the wedding, and you couldn't even tell I had no eyelashes on one side! Everyone in my group loved their hair and makeup. Worth the money. -

Corona wedding
With my destination wedding being canceling due to travel restrictions I needed to looks for hair and make up services locally. I was stressed and not sure if I’d be able to find availability one month before the big day and then came glitz and glam bridal! They were very quick to respond, reasonably priced and super flexible. My trial went great and was I looking forward to the big day! I had the stylists travel to our hotel room on the wedding which was totally worth it! They made everyone feel very comfortable and safe as they worked in masks the whole time. All of my bridesmaids looked amazing and guest were asking who did their hair and make because they looked so great (even in the heat every held up!) I myself never felt more beautiful as I did that day all thanks to melanie and kelcie. If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t hesitate booking with glitz and glam bridal they were amazing! -

We hired Glitz and Glam and their team of Melanie, Jess and Desiree for my wedding day including myself and 10 other girls. They easily handled our large party and finished ahead of schedule with time to do touch ups! After 16 hours, my hair and make up had seriously not budged and everyone commented on how natural and perfect my it was. Desiree easily understood what I wanted and took excellent notes and pictures at my trial to nail without stress on my wedding day. They were easy to contact by email and remained flexible as needs and timeline changed throughout the planning process. I highly recommend Glitz and Glam for your special day beauty needs! -

4/20/2019 Wedding Date: Jessica and her team were very responsive to my booking request for an April/Easter weekend wedding in Plymouth, MA. Yes, their pricing was a little higher than other vendors I had looked into, but after a terrible trial experience at another spa/salon in the area I was willing to pay more for a higher quality of service. Glitz & Glam was recommended to me from another bride that I know who booked their services for her wedding in Newport, RI. Jessica was very helpful with working with different requests on my contract as I unfortunately had a lot of question marks for members of my family regarding their interest in getting services before the wedding. I actually did not have a trial at all with Glitz & Glam (though I would highly recommend others to) and they totally nailed my look to absolute perfection! The morning of the wedding, Jessica and her team arrived and got right to work in my hotel room. We were done with time to spare (extra important on a wedding day), and every girl looked just flawless. Even my mother-in-law who had a lot to manage the day of our big day had some time to relax and simply enjoy the moment. The weather on my wedding morning was a bit muggy and rainy/overcast. I have fine, wavy hair that frizzes immediately with just slight rain. Jessica kept meeting my requests to touch up these areas/and "soften" whatever parts of my hair that I felt needed a little more attention/love (I was truly panicked given the weather and the fact that I've never once worn extensions and picked my wedding to be the first time to experiment with them). Additionally, my makeup was THE MOST BEAUTIFUL application I've ever seen on me (and I frequently get my makeup done for events). I did airbrush/false strip lashes and it lasted all day and all night without issue. My only recommendation would be to allow for Venmo or PayPal payments if they are even paid a couple/few days in advance. It was a little stressful to make sure I had extra cash on hand for this service the morning of, as I preferred to make sure all my vendors were paid before the wedding day. Not a major concern or issue, more or less just something I had to add to my Day Of 'to-do' list. Jessica, thank you for making my bridal dream look come true. I have been a Bridesmaid in two weddings that had Glitz & Glam handle hair & makeup! I hate makeup so I always ask for barely any on my face and these ladies understood the look I was going for! I also hate having my hair done because I’m never feel like myself but in both weddings my hair looked PHENOMENAL and it stayed perfectly the entire night (and both weddings rained so I was nervous about my hair). Thank you so much Jess & Mel for making me look gorgeous for my best friends’ weddings! Would highly recommend this company!
