What services does a wedding florist provide?

A wedding florist provides a variety of services, some of which might not be obvious at first.

Your florist will then create a proposal which will describe the arrangements he or she will create as well as the prices.

Flowers: A big part of your wedding flower budget will go to the actual purchasing of the flowers. It actually takes several hours for a florist to put a flower order together—and the flowers your florist will receive from his or her wholesaler or grower are far better quality than the ones you can buy at your local grocery store. They’re grown especially to be featured at events and are hand-selected for their quality.
Flower processing and storage: Once your flowers arrive to your florist, he or she will take several hours (often a whole day!) to process your flowers (taking thorns off of roses, counting the flowers, etc.) and storing them in a refrigerated space to ensure they look amazing on your wedding day.
Labor and production: Now, it’s time for your florist to create those beautiful arrangements! Each arrangement takes time to design (probably more than you would think!), so it’s quite a long process.
Delivery and set up: Your florist and his/her team will then bring your arrangements to your venue. A good amount of work needs to be done on premises to make sure that your ceremony and reception looks picture-perfect, from the altar to the reception table arrangements.
Cleanup: After your wedding, your florist and his/her team will go to your venue to remove all of the arrangements and vessels, and assist with cleanup.

Michelle took my Pinterest board and exceeded even my own wildest imaginations. We envisioned a ‘no color’ color palette for our wedding day, wanting only white florals and greenery which she executed to perfection. Not only is Michelle wonderful to work with, but the thoughtfulness she extends to your vision is simply unmatched. From the very beginning, we wanted the bridal bouquet to be made up of white peonies, but weren’t sure where to start with the groom’s boutonniere - wanting something that also stood out and was unique to him. Without hesitation, she gave us the idea of doing a white ranunculus which was not only the perfect complement to the peonies but an unexpected nod to his Italian heritage. From the pearl pins around the bouquet charm, to our deconstructed ceremony arch so effortlessly placed into the trees we’d selected to frame our ceremony, the candles glittering in every corner of every room, everywhere we turned Michelle and her team took our breath away. She unequivocally put her heart (and ours) into every floral arrangement and we could not recommend her enough.

On the day of the wedding, everything came together beautiful. Our florals were absolutely stunning - we received so many compliments on how they looked! Not to mention that the florals that some of our guests took home lasted for almost a month after the wedding! Ann Marie and the team at Amber Rose Floral Design should be your go-to florist for your wedding needs. Professional, communicative, extremely talented, and kind, they made our wedding floral visions become a reality! Going into the process, we were unsure exactly what we wanted for florals, only knowing that we wanted to enhance our already beautiful venue, what our colors were going to be, and that sunflowers had to be incorporated. After our initial discussion, the team pulled together an entire proposal which included several suggestions for consideration from ceremony flowers, centerpiece, boutonnieres, corsages, to the bouquets, all well within our budget. It was unbelievable what they were able to pull together! The months leading up to the wedding we refined our ideas into our final concepts and even continued to bounce ideas off the team as they came to mind and asked for their professional advice regarding what would look the best or make the most sense.
