Joy is a master at her craft. She was great to work with for our wedding. She met with us a few times to go over ideas and inspo pics, and what she designed on the day was nothing short of glorious. The bouquets and boutineers were stunning and she designed centerpieces that also doubled as the flowers lining the aisle. Her team transitioned the pieces from the ceremony to the reception during cocktail hour in such a seamless fashion, and the pieces looked perfect during both events. We could not thank Joy enough!

She really works with your budget and there is nothing better than a florist who you can give just a few photos of inspo to, and she RUNS with it and EXECUTES. Joy at Flowerthyme was an absolute joy to work with. To my surprise, up until I met with Joy, finding a florist was one of the more disheartening tasks in wedding planning. Various florists had ridiculous minimums and when I eventually found florists that did not have minimums, they were unpleasant to work with. The first time meeting with Joy, she said “planning your wedding day florals should be the most fun and stress-free part of wedding planning” ...and she made it so!

Joy was responsive, enthusiastic, and both receptive and encouraging when it came to to my vision and preferences. She was flexible and easy to collaborate with via Zoom, text, and email, as I am a D.C. resident and was doing all of my planning remotely. She was patient and understanding with changes. Most importantly, the flowers on my wedding day turned out beautifully. What she delivered was above and beyond what I had even expected or could have dreamed. I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Joy and the outcome of everything on our wedding day. I’d recommend Flowerthyme to anyone looking for a florist in RI.

She has such a successful business and is very busy but always makes the time to make you feel like you are her priority. Amazing service and beautiful flowers.

We planned our wedding fairly quickly after COVID restrictions finally came up. We did not give things the usual timeline, so we were worried about finding a good florist. Joy was so accommodating and helpful. We chose a popular date, which I thought would be too much of a squeeze, but she got it done and the flowers were BEAUTIFUL. With just one photo of our venue, she created something that worked perfectly.

The only compromise was we had to pick up because of the late timeline and popular date, but that worked out just fine for us. She was so accommodating about finding a good time for that.

I'd recommend FlowerThyme to anyone in RI or nearby CT looking for gorgeous flowers.
