If you are looking for a florist- stop and look no further! We booked The Secret Garden back in 2021 for our wedding at OceanCliff this year (2023). David was SO responsive and answered all our questions leading up to the big day. Our flowers were delivered on time and absolutely breathtaking !! They got EXACTLY what I was envisioning and brought it to life. I cannot recommend David and the Secret Garden team enough!!

I am so happy to write this review about The Secret Garden in Jamestown, RI. David and his team created beautiful, gorgeous arrangements for my daughter’s wedding last week. These centerpieces featured hydrangea, lush giant antique hydrangea, and smaller varieties in pale greens, creams, pinks, ivory and white. This subtle palette of hydrangea was laced with silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus, golden glory etc. which spilled over the edges of 12 inch round low vessels. These vessels were metal and displayed a range of color, verdigris, bits of gold and copper metal. They were almost like a deep dish ( 3 inches deep) pizza pan with variegated color…beautiful. Additionally, there were smaller complimentary metal vessels for the mantels and powder rooms. David created a spectacular and stunning arrangement for large focal piece at the entry where the place cards were arranged. The metal vessel was 18 inches tall, 9 inch wide at the opening and with flowers, this piece was nearly 4ft tall and amazing! Yes, I showed him a few pictures of things I liked, and I purchased all the metal containers, but he brought all the elements together in such a dreamy way and exceeded my expectations: the flowers were simply spectacular and compliments by many were effusive!
Finally, my daughter’s bouquet was beautiful, lush, flowing, cascading, and perfectly complimented her dress. Exactly what she wanted. Bridesmaids’ bouquets also beautiful. Can’t wait to post pictures.
David and the Secret Garden is so nice to work with, very laid back and easy going. He delivered all to the venue, the Glen in Portsmouth, RI. So when we arrived, it just looked spectacular. It was such a pleasure to work with David and can recommend him without reservation.

From our initial meeting with Megan to the day of execution, David and his Secret Garden team were professional, patient, creative and extremely talented!!! They absolutely exceeded our expectations!!! If you live out of town and plan to use them for a wedding/event, have no fear - they were happy to Facetime us and go over arrangements and finalize any details. Their florals were stunning and had all of our guests in awe!!!! We greatly appreciate them and would 10000% recommend them to anyone looking for a florist for their wedding or next event!!

David and his team at Secret Garden RI BEYOND EXCEEDED my expectations on my wedding day (July 19, 2019 at Belle Mer). David understood my vision, then elevated and executed it on an entirely new level. He is truly an artist. My guests are still talking about how beautiful the floral arrangements were. I initially chose Secret Garden RI because they provided me with the most reasonable quote, the quality of their flowers is excellent, and we really enjoyed communicating with David. He was extremely quick to respond throughout the whole process, and is genuinely a very nice person. His goal was to bring my vision to life in the most cost-effective way possible. I was honestly blown away with the end result. I can't reiterate this enough. I was expecting one thing and they went so far above and beyond. They truly delivered perfection, and I am eternally grateful. Please consider hiring the incredibly talented folks at Secret Garden RI for your big day, you will be in good hands.

Working with David was an absolute pleasure, he was very easy to get in touch with and he had me email him photos so I felt confident I was getting exactly what I wanted. The bouquets and arrangements were absolutely stunning. I feel like we got so much more than we paid for, highly recommend them for your wedding or whatever occasion you needs flowers for!

I truly could not be happier with The Secret Garden. David was so wonderful to work with and made my vision come to life. He provided great suggestions and ideas and it was a lot of fun working with him. He was extremely responsive, friendly, and professional. He walked me through each step and provided valuable advice. David was also really accommodating with bringing our bouquets over to the venue early for photos.
As for the floral arrangements and bouquets, after meeting with David I knew I would be happy, but they still far exceeded my expectations. The flowers were stunning and exactly what we had planned. Everything was very fresh and impeccably put together. Everyone who attended the wedding commented on how amazing the floral arrangements were and wanted to know where they were from.
We could not have been happier with our experience!

We couldn’t have had a better experience working with The Secret Garden for our May 2023 wedding! Memorial Day is a notoriously busy weekend in Newport, RI but the staff at Secret Garden made us a 100% priority and made the entire experience so beautiful and stress free. When the flowers arrived, they were more beautiful than I could have imagined and the attention to detail to make sure they arrived securely was apparent. I will be using them in the future for all of my floral needs!
