David and Meg at the Secret Garden are a dream team to work with. David listened to everything I wanted and was willing to work within my budget and had great budget-friendly suggestions to aid in meeting my design goal! He is an absolute rockstar and I had the florals of my DREAMS! He was also very communicative via email and phone anytime I needed anything or wanted to tweak my floral design (or add more candles in the eleventh hour of planning). I would pick Secret Garden to do my wedding florals time and time again! I want to plan a vow renewal just for an excuse to use that many beautiful flowers designed by them again. Cannot wait to see my anniversary flowers next year (because yes I already told my husband to buy them from Secret Garden)! -

The Secret Garden should not be a secret! We hired them for our Rosecliff Mansion wedding, and they delivered beyond our expectations. The personal service, communication and guidance Megan provided was outstanding, and David and his team's work was beautiful. They willingly and artistically incorporated our ideas and 1920's pieces (think natural peacock feathers!) into the bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces. The flowers lasted for weeks after the wedding, so we and our guests could continue to enjoy them. Great flowers/arrangements, great design, great service and great value! Simply put, and outstanding experience. -

I hired The Secret Garden for my wedding in August 2022 and David and his team brought my vision to life in THE most incredible way!!! The wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year, but the flowers lasted throughout the night and at the brunch the following day and even longer than that. All of my guests still comment on how beautiful the flowers were!! I am SO happy I chose The Secret Garden! -

Megan was excellent to work with. During our first conversation, I shared my inspirational photos with her; she did a fantastic job bringing that vision to life - the flowers were gorgeous. Our venue was naturally beautiful, and I wanted my flowers to complement it and not overpower the space. Megan walked me through each type of flower and color that she thought would look great, and I trusted her expertise and was not disappointed. Their pricing was very reasonable, and customer service was top-notch. I highly recommend The Secret Garden!!! -

Megan was incredible! From our first meeting, she was able to bring our vision to life just off several sample pictures. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She was able to make adjustments and was quite flexible when I came to her with last minute changes before the wedding. Besides all of that- the flowers she put together were GORGEOUS. I was so impressed with the arrangements and loved how each and every one turned out. I would highly recommend Megan and The Secret Garden for any event you may have!

Working with David and his team at the Secret Garden was an exceptional experience from start to finish. My daughter lives out of state so we had to coordinate a few phone calls with David which he was always willing to arrange. I would recommend taking David up on his offer to come into the shop in Jamestown and see all the beautiful arrangements and options they have to offer. It was well worth the trip. They are very professional and pleasant during the set up and delivery as well and David was very flexible when we had to make revisions to our plans. All our guests raved about how exquisite the floral arrangements were, they truly made our vision come to life. I highly recommend booking The Secret Garden - a truly exceptional vendor. -

David and the staff at The Secret Garden are incredible. How lucky am I as Jamestown resident to have such a superb local florist. David and I met numerous times to select my wedding florals and he was so responsive and fair with his pricing. He was also so flexible with our plans to repurpose florals from the Chapel to the Reception venue which really maximized the use of the florals. At the end of the evening I asked my family to pack every last rose into our vehicles because I did not want them out of my sight! David and his team are incredibly talented and professional and I loved that we had a chance to say hello right before the ceremony- I was blown away with how beautiful everything turned out. For same-sex couples, finding vendors you can trust can sometimes be challenging. However, The Secret Garden team didn't blink an eye at our needs and treated us no differently than the hundreds of other couples they have likely worked with. They made us feel not only accepted but celebrated. Despite being one of many clients, David and the team made us feel as if we were the only ones on their minds.

Working with David and Megan at the Secret Garden for our June wedding at Warwick Country Club was a dream!! We communicated for the most part with Megan, who was exceedingly professional, accommodating, and responsive with all communication. Her attention to detail was evident from our first phone conversation. When we met with Megan in person, she guided us through all of our choices to bring our wedding floral visions to life! After our initial meeting, we had a few changes to make as the rest of our wedding vision came to life, and Megan and the Secret Garden team were more than accommodating in making these changes, and made sure they were reflected in our running quote sheet. On the day of our wedding, we were blown away by how beautiful every arrangement was!!! They were perfect. Every flower stayed fresh and beautiful despite an extremely warm and humid day. All the more, Megan went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help keep our plan for an outdoor ceremony alive with encroaching rains. When we had to pivot mid-ceremony to an indoor space, Megan had stayed at our venue to make sure the flowers on our arch could be taken down and brought inside. We were so happy to have her on our team! We cannot recommend the Secret Garden highly enough! -

David and the team at Secret Garden were a dream to work with. We had our wedding at Rosecliff on 4/21 and from the first meeting David had a wonderful understanding of our vision. On our first meeting, David had a mockup of an arrangement that was almost identical to the ones on my Pinterest board. We talked at length about the kinds of flowers what would be in season for our wedding, our wedding colors, and his recommendations on how to make the most of our venue.
David and the team were very amenable to tweaks and changes leading up to the wedding, and the final result was gorgeousl!! The flowers were fresh and so elegantly arranged. And most importantly, they were exactly what I had pictured in my head.
Finally, one of the things I also appreciated about Secret Garden was their commitment to being budget-conscious and making the most of out of arrangements so there was as little waste as possible. We reused arrangements from the ceremony space in the cocktail hour/reception and the team made these transitions with no hesitation.
I would highly recommend Secret Garden for anyone planning their wedding! -

I honestly don't even know where to begin with writing a review because I have so many positive things to say! I reached out to David regarding wedding flowers and he immediately got back to me. Before I knew it we had a face-to-face consultation arranged. At that consultation he was able to show me all of the flowers he could offer and kept track of things I liked, disliked, and absolutely needed. By the end of our appointment we had made a mini bouquet that he gladly let me take home! Besides the flowers I did NOT like, I gave him full creative control with a color in mind and he delivered masterpieces! The flowers were beyond what I could have ever imagined and we are still getting compliments this day over them! David was able to accommodate every bump in the road and made our wedding day a day to remember! -

David and his team were a dream to work with. I explained I was looking for local, seasonal flowers that give a big bang for their buck and WOW did he deliver. I felt that for my budget David put together stunning flower arrangements that looked much more expensive than they were. Even the team at Oceancliff said they couldn't believe how stunning the flowers were - wild and natural with stunning colors and interesting greenery. I'm so happy I went with David and couldn't recommend him and his team higher. -

David and the Secret Garden RI team were incredible start to finish! I worked with David from the beginning and he was so kind and helpful! I switched my vision quite a few times and David was so flexible and accommodating! Meeting with him was amazing and he even let us take some arrangements home! He was so responsive!!! The florals were PERFECTION! They were exactly what I envisioned! He and his team did an amazing job with our arbor arch, our head table hydrangea runner, and all of the bouquets! We couldn’t have had a better experience working with The Secret Garden for our May 2023 wedding! Memorial Day is a notoriously busy weekend in Newport, RI but the staff at Secret Garden made us a 100% priority and made the entire experience so beautiful and stress free. When the flowers arrived, they were more beautiful than I could have imagined and the attention to detail to make sure they arrived securely was apparent. The Secret Garden was the incredible florist for our wedding at Glen Manor House on 10/8/22. There are no words to describe how wonderful David and his team are. One of the top florists in Newport recommended David to me when I first started planning our wedding, and I couldn't be more grateful for that referral. David's attention to detail and the couple he's working with are unmatched. He brought my vision to life and made it even better.
