If you’re reading this review, you’re probably trying to pick a photographer for your wedding or some other big life event. Please save yourself the time and hire the Ciccarelli’s already, you will not regret it! Erik and Marissa are the dream team. Not only are they wonderful people (which is a really big deal since you’re going to be spending a lot of your wedding day with them), but they take stunning photos. I can’t keep track of the amount of friends and family who have commented on how beautiful our wedding photos are AND how Erik and Marissa had such a wonderful demeanor on our wedding day. Organizing photos among large families and bridal parties is no easy task, but they did it with ease. Some photographers get visibly frustrated, bossy, etc., and I get it, it’s a hard job, but that’s not the type of vibe anyone wants on their wedding day. Instead, Erik and Marissa bring joy and fun to the entire day. Due to COVID, we had to reschedule our wedding three times, and while not every vendor could be accommodating during this difficult time, I think it’s important to call out those truly special vendors who went above and beyond and did everything they could to make it easy on their couples. That’s what the Ciccarelli’s did for us. We can’t wait to work with them again for future family photos. Thank you Erik and Marissa, you are the best! -

Erik was the photographer on our wedding day and he was fantastic! His enthusiasm, warm and easy going personality, and creativity made it easy for this camera shy couple to shine in photos. Leading up to the wedding day Marissa and Erik were very responsive and communication was easy. And the quality of photos is amazing. I can't recommend Ciccarelli Photography enough, they are five stars all the way! -

We reached out to Marissa and Erik because they were highly reviewed and we liked what we saw in their portfolio. What we didn't anticipate was that they are simply wonderful people and that made all the difference. Their fun-lovng and easy-going personality helped put us at ease, even during stressful times, and they were so on top of everything. Though we didn't expect it, they also acted like day-of-coordinators during the wedding day, shepherding us along, making sure we needed to be in the right place at the right place, and keeping track of the schedule. It was super helpful to have two photographers too, because they were able to capture multiple angles and shots. All of our photos turned out beautifully too - we were gasping in awe and laughing the entire time we went through our album. It helped us re-live our day and we can't thank them both enough! Through it all, they now feel like friends and we would recommend them to others in a heartbeat. -

From the planning process all the way until after the wedding this adorable pair went above and beyond to make everything so much easier and enjoyable. They made everyone feel comfortable, even my husband who doesn't love getting his photo taken has said many times that we should do more photo shoots because they make it so fun! Not to mention the fact that the photos they take are AMAZING! We're so happy the Ciccarellis were able to be part of our day!!

When you attend a wedding, you often see the photographers taking photos of the day - sometimes appearing more in the way of the ceremony and reception that you are trying to be a part of. This is truly not the case with the Ciccarellis - in our experience they have the ability to both produce wonderful photographs and seamlessly take part in your special day.
We had our wedding in August and they were an invaluable addition to the day. Not only do they both seemingly have unending energy to continue to get you excited throughout the day, but they also are completely infectious. We had many guests that mentioned to us how much they enjoyed having the Ciccarellis at our wedding and that they loved interacting with them (which is great, especially because they are so skilled at capturing these joyful interactions on film).
Finally, we really loved how purposeful they were in making sure that we were comfortable with them on the wedding day. Included in their wedding package is a complimentary engagement photo shoot which enabled them to get to know us before our wedding (as well as produced great photos for our save the dates). I was skeptical at first (extra photos seemed a bit gratuitous), but it really did help us feel comfortable with them on our wedding day and enabled them to capture a lot of genuine interactions, rather than just staged photos.
I'm glad that they also do family photos so that when we decide to have children, we can have an excuse to see the Ciccarellis again!

Taylor Sent on 11/30/2017Marissa & Erik were a dream come true! Ciccarelli Photography shot our wedding up at Semiahmoo,WA and it was everything we wanted and more. From our engagement photos, where we worked with them to find a great spot that fit us, to the actual engagement photos themselves, everything got off to a great start. The day of, they found a way to capture all of the emotion of the big day and then some. The pictures of the first look are something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I would recommend them to anyone who may be looking for wedding photographers or even just as photographers. They are fun, kind and sweet and are great people on top of how good they are at their job. I look forward to following their work for years to come. Thank you both.

Cathy Sent on 11/19/2017Marissa and Erik are the best! We highly recommend. They did both our engagement and wedding photos. They are professional, easy to work with, fun and extremely talented. They captured candid and special moments. Our photos were edited within 3o days and they even sent us a bunch of photos within 4 days so we could show them off at our reception in Hong Kong. They also worked really well with our videographer. You'll be extremely happy with the Ciccarelli's.

After interviewing 4 or 5 different photographers my husband and I decided on Ciccarelli Photography and we are so completely grateful that we did! Marissa and Erik were professional, accommodating, and they produced truly beautiful pictures for us. Some of the best things about working with them:
- They have great chemistry together and they are the perfect balance of nice, but direct. Getting people to go where you want them to in a timely fashion must be super difficult, but both of them are great at it and they do it without seeming "bossy". (Even though with our chatty/party-oriented group you had to be a little bossy - so I gave Marissa and Erik full license to order us around)
- Mu husband and I live in Houston, but were being married in Seattle, so our window for engagement photos was very small, but Marissa and Erik made sure it happened on a beautiful day over Thanksgiving break.
- Marissa and Erik had not photographed at our venue before, so they took time to visit it ahead of time to plan key shots.
- Marissa met with me the week of the wedding to help calm my last minute nerves and go over the "shot list".
- Marissa and Erik met every deadline AND got us our wedding photos earlier than expected.
- Everyone at the wedding commented how organized and nice Marissa and Erik were.
I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed working with These two. They both really understood how important photographs were for us and went the extra mile to capture all of the special details of our big day. I am so happy that we got to work with them and I would recommend them to any couple who wants to have an amazing capture of such a memorable day. -

Emily Sent on 06/19/2017What to say about Erik and Marissa, I could not have asked for a better photography team. They were absolutely amazing. From the engagement photos to the wedding day they were great every step of the way. I was worried I would feel self conscious and awkward while taking the photos but they are so much fun the put us immediately at ease. It felt like we were just hanging out with friends instead of our photographers. And their photos are absolutely amazing they managed to capture the sweet loving moments as well as the funny ones that I cannot help but laugh at. We also received our photos so quickly which was greatly appreciated!! I cannot recommend them enough!! -
Gisela Sent on 01/03/2018We had a small ceremony in 2017 at the Volunteer Park Conservatory. It was a dream for my husband and I, and today we feel so happy to have chosen Marissa & Erik Ciccarelli to capture our special day.
They were very professional from the moment we sent the first email and during the entire session, making us laugh and feel super comfortable. We had some ideas of what we wanted, and they helped us with many more. They were even prepared with the cutest umbrella to keep me dry while outside in the rain (Seattle!).
We got our photos and video right on time and the platform was easy to use.
It was a great experience working with them!
