Hi! I'm Irene Jones and I own IJ Photo. 2024 marks my 25th year as a wedding photographer. (I shot my first wedding right out of high school and loved it!) Over the years, I've learned how to create quality images that capture authentic moments in true color. I love working with couples who value storytelling and want to remember every moment of their day.
Experience
After high school, I attended The Art Institute of Seattle, where I gained inspiration from some of the world's best photographers and artists. After college, I went into weddings full-time and have been working with couples ever since. Building IJ Photo was a dream come true for me.
Prints, albums, and a second photographer are also provided upon request. IJ Photo offers the following services:

Easy decision! Hire Irene!!
Irene not only delivered incredible photos, but also was easy and fun to work with! She made us laugh and captured our day perfectly! Due to Covid, we had many guests who were unable to attend. Irene was able to capture the day and excitement in her pictures! She was a lifesaver and came on board after our original photographer backed out 3 months before the wedding.
Irene is easy to work with, produces STUNNING photos, and we hope to work with her again in the future!

Pick Irene as your wedding photographer!
Irene is the BEST! She was the photographer at our friends' wedding, and we are so glad we took their recommendation. Irene makes you feel so comfortable and at ease, and the photos are stunning.
We did the engagement photo session with her in addition to our wedding day, and it is totally worth it. Not only did we get lovely engagement photos, it allowed us to get to know Irene better and be more comfortable posing for photos so we were ready for our wedding day photos. She is also great at getting through large family photos and can even corral the most rowdy family members :)

Irene Jones photographed our engagement photos and wedding. She is highly professional, easy to work with, and took amazing photos. She captured the day beautifully. Irene is the perfect combination of light hearted/silly, provides direction, but also allows you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. I'm so happy we had Irene to capture our amazing day. It was an absolute dream working with Irene!
We have been working with Irene since 2019 when we first got engaged. Due to Covid, we weren’t able to have our dream wedding until 2022. However, between 2019 and now, we got the pleasure of working with Irene several times and it was perfect! She makes you feel so relaxed during the sessions and is always making you laugh. We cannot recommend her enough and cannot wait to continue to work with her in the future!

Professional Service and Images to last a lifetime
Irene Jones photographed our intimate backyard wedding this summer. She was highly professional and able to wrangle our family and bridal party into amazing pictures! I especially appreciated this since we needed someone who could keep everyone in line. She walked us through exactly how to stand, where to put our hands, when to fix our hair, it was just what we needed. The images she captured were everything we could have dreamed of. I can't stop looking through our wedding images!

Irene is amazing!
Irene is amazing! She and her assistant Lydia were very comfortable to work with. Our photos turned out amazing and it really captured the emotion which I think is the true talent in photography. We will definitely be a returning customer!

Highly recommend
Irene Jones was wonderful to work with. She consulted with us before the wedding to determine what was most important to us and was prompt to respond to email. On the day of the wedding she arrived right on time and kept us relaxed and laughing during the entire photo shoot. Our pictures are beautiful, I can't stop looking at them! I truly believe photography is one of THE most important aspects of your wedding day. I highly recommend hiring Irene as your photographer, you'll be so happy with the results!

Masterful Storytelling through Photography
Too often you hear people say that their wedding day was a blur and they don’t remember all of the details. Irene of IJ Photo masterfully captured our day so that when we look through our wedding photos, we relive every beautiful, heartfelt moment again and again. From laughs to tears to playing with the snapdragons in my bouquet and giggling with my husband behind the scenes, she captured it all. I can’t speak highly enough of Irene. If you are looking for top-notch quality, customer service and a photographer who is super fun and genuine, hire Irene. She’s the best!
