If I could give more stars I would
We worked with Maddy at Olive & Opal Photography three times now (our engagement shoot, Covid elopement, and wedding/reception). She is a dream to work with. Her professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond are unparalleled. Because of her, we got incredible photos of all the events. Our wedding ceremony had some variables due to Covid restrictions. But Maddy was on top of it. She was organized and had connected with all of our vendors prior to the big day. She not only got all of photos we wanted..and more, she made everyone feel very comfortable (and even saved me from walking down the aisle with a wrinkled dress by giving me a polite reminder). Also, if responsiveness is important to you, this is your photographer! She was always available for a quick call and responded right away to emails.

I can't thank you enough for our amazing pictures!!!
We had a fantastic experience with Maddy as our photographer. She made us feel comfortable and guided us through the whole experience, which we needed! She was also really flexible when it came to scheduling, the outfit changes, the areas we wanted to take pictures in, and including our dogs in the photos! She is also just a very fun, kind & genuine person to be around! And last but not least, our photos were AMAZING - they came out even better than I had imagined (even though I'd seen her amazing work online)!!! I got emotional seeing the our photos for the first time, and I can't thank her enough for perfectly capturing what I had envisioned, and going above and beyond what I pictured! THANK YOU, MADDY!!

Maddy at Olive and Opal is amazing!!
Maddy photographed our wedding outside of Leavenworth and we couldn’t have dreamed for a better experience! She was thoughtful, playful and coached us through our photo session in a way that felt comfortable and fun. She brought a second shooter with her as well and between the two of them, they captured our wedding beautifully. As if that wasn’t enough, she turned our photos around so quickly and even sent us a sweet gift with printed photos, which was such a sweet surprise! Overall, we couldn’t recommend Maddy enough!

Beyond Amazing!
Working with Maddy was beyond amazing! She's honest about what type of product she delivers and made us feel so incredibly comfortable every step of the way. From our first meeting to the album delivery we couldn't ask for more. Her work speaks for itself and she is a photographer who goes the extra mile on the wedding day making sure the day is as perfect as the photos she captures. The photographs she captured for our pre-wedding shoot and the wedding are timeless, classic and beyond beautiful. I wouldn't dare ruin them with an Instagram filter!
