For our intimate, family-only civil ceremony—I had a vision in my head, a gorgeous backdrop, and only one person I trusted to capture all of that with the exact vibe I wanted. I’ve known Robert for years, and he’s extremely acquainted with my flare for the dramatic. Many marrying couples use the Wisconsin capitol building, and the exterior is an easy shot for most photographers. But inside, I’m convinced he captured the difficult lighting and gorgeous architecture better than anyone I’ve seen. More than that, his shots perfectly frame both the privacy and quiet joy of Steve’s and my relationship.

Robert blew our expectations out of the water! We booked Sound Imagining for our outdoor wedding just a few weeks ahead of the event and it was the BEST possible choice. I don't think we could've found a better photographer for our wedding! As a gay couple looking for wedding vendors, it can be stressful sorting through potential contractors and trying to suss out who will make us feel most comfortable and able to be our most authentic selves, and Robert was exactly that. We were put immediately at ease in our early consultations with them and they were such an excellent presence on the day as well. I honestly don't know how Robert was able to capture so many stunning moments. My husband and I are still going through the album and selecting our favorites, but it's been really hard to choose because they were all so lovingly and perfectly captured. Some of the photos even pre-editing already looked like something out of a renaissance painting. They managed to capture not only the day, but also the core essences of all of our wedding guests. I will definitely be using Sound Imaging Art for any future photos I might need taken, because damn, this was something really special. I don't think I've ever loved how I look in photos, but Robert managed to capture hundreds of photos I am 110% blown away by and I've just been riding the high of that confidence boost this whole week :) Robert, you're amazing and I'm so glad we were able to have you at our wedding to document it all and gently corral our families when it was needed. 15/10 stars, would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay in touch.

I have nothing but great things to say about our experience. We eloped on vacation for a spur of the moment decision vs a large wedding. We changed the time kind of last minute and the photographer was flexible and super polite about it. Communication was a breeze and even showed up a bit early for the photos. Turnaround time was also much faster than I expected to get our photos back and they turned out absolutely breathtaking.
