We won a free engagement session from Marcus at a wedding show, and it was the best surprise of our year. He was SO easy to work with and very communicative. When we showed up the day of the shoot, we were complete newbies. We had never done a professional photo shoot as a couple and didn’t know how to pose or anything. But he completely put us at ease! He met us where we were at, gave us direction, and made everything feel so natural.

By the end of the shoot, we literally felt like models. We were in a natural groove, even doing things without him asking, and it’s all because he’s such an incredible coach, which is a huge sign of a great photographer. He's not just taking beautiful photos, but helping people feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera.

Then when we got the photos back, they were absolutely breathtaking. We were grinning ear to ear scrolling through them. It was SO hard to choose favorites because we loved so many, but I’ve included a few here. He also had such an eye for a good shot. Things we were unsure about at the time turned out absolutely amazing as the end result, so I trust him wholeheartedly.

Marcus exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful experience for our wedding. At our first meeting, he listened to our requests and asked questions that showed he was really paying attention. We are an older couple who really wanted more candid photos of the event and our guests than traditional posed photos. We wanted our wedding to feel more like a party with our family and friends where we got married and less of a formal affair. Marcus scouted the location and had some very creative ideas that really hit what we were looking for. The venue is in a beautiful little town on a bluff that overlooks the water. He was able to capture the beauty of the location and the fun of our event. He really engaged with our guests and got some really great shots of our friends and family. One thing we really appreciated was his ability to get shots of the ceremony without being intrusive. He and his assistant worked really hard and were very prepared. He was very respectful of the venue staff and those that were working. All in all, we would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a creative and very professional photographer.
