We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jenn Tai for our wedding, and she did an amazing job of capturing the moments of our special day. Her talent for photojournalism truly shines through in her work. From my nephew doing a flip on the dance floor to our wedding party being goofs, Jenn captured all the candid and heartfelt moments perfectly. We especially loved her style of working with the moments rather than orchestrating poses. It made our photos feel so natural and genuine, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Jenn's ability to blend into the background while still capturing every significant detail was impressive. We are incredibly grateful for her hard work and dedication. We are so lucky to have had Amy there on our big day - to capture all of the special moments we shared together, and with friends and family! Her creativity and vision is so unique - our pictures show each and every detail of the day in such a way, that we can look back at them and relive the whole experience! PS- she walked out into Hood Canal, waist deep and in bare feet just so she could get the "perfect shot" of us on the dock... Yes!! LOVE HER!!!

I would like to highly recommend Mike Nakamura Photography for any photography needs, whether it be for a wedding, family photo session, senior photos, corporate event... anything! We hired Mike as our wedding photographer and decided this was one of best decisions we made as we planned our wedding. Mike was available to meet and chat with me whenever needed and had patience with me to answer all my (millions of) questions as he helped customize a photo package that would best fit our needs and budget. When we met for our first meeting, my husband (fiancé at the time) and I were very impressed with the wedding albums we looked through as not only did he capture/create beautiful photos but his albums told a story and made the viewer feel like she/he was part of the day. We had compared his work to other wedding photographers and knew immediately that we wanted to work with Mike. Mike photographed our engagement session and was very responsive in helping me book a day to conduct this as we had limited availability on our end. Our engagement session was SO MUCH FUN! My husband and I are pool players and had wanted to take some pictures in a pool hall and then also some at the park. Mike was very creative at both locations and created perfect settings and poses to produce natural and fun pictures for us! Mike also photographed my dress fitting and we were left with some fun memories of me and my mom /bridal party as I was getting fitted for my dress. These times are once in a life time moments so to capture the expressions of my family and friends as they saw me in my actual dress for the first time the way Mike did is something that I definitely cherish. Mike had a quick turnaround for our pictures and we were able to share these with our friends and family in no time! They all loved them of course! On the actual wedding day Mike was with me and the bridal party from start (8am) to finish (10pm) and it was amazing to see the energy he

Ellen at Ariena photography was just a joy to work with. We hired a videographer and they also had nothing but great things to say about Ellen and how professional and fun to work with. Seriously, when people who are in the same business are just praising her, you know you got an incredible talent. Not only are her photos and how she composes shots are amazing, but her clear direction and vision is exactly what we needed for our hectic day. And she got our sneak peek photos incredibly fast. And what photos they are. They’re varied in how they were shot but all had a cohesive vision and flow. We also chose an indoor venue with not a lot of natural light, but she was able to capture truly special moments. Cannot recommend her enough.

When it comes to beautiful photography, there are so many options in the Seattle area! Of course, I fell in love with Rachel's work right away, but there were a few (a lot) of other things that set her apart from the rest. Flexible Contract - there were so many options with booking! We could choose from additional time, a second shooter, engagement pictures, etc...We even ended up adding a second engagement session because we were so happy with the first round! Rachel knows so many great locations for winter and summer, and isn't afraid to hike through the snow to get the perfect shot. Speed - We were a bit behind schedule on wedding day, and Rachel didn't bat an eye. All of our wedding party commented on how organized she was and how quickly she got through the pictures, and captured everything we wanted and more! When we got our pictures back, I was so surprised by all the family portraits that had been taken. Everyone was so happy to have pictures with their individual families, and everyone ended up using these for Christmas cards! Personality - Something I didn't realize is that you spend your whole day with your photographer, and it's super important it is a person that you like! After our first meeting, my husband said she was just like my best friend, so it's no wonder we ended up absolutely loving her! Rachel is funny, smart, and so genuine, you can't help but be yourself in front of her. Professionalism - Rachel captured some of our most emotional, and truthfully, private moments, and navigated it all so seamlessly. I never felt uncomfortable and I was honestly so thankful that she was with us on our wedding day! I didn't expect to have such a strong feeling of trust with our photographer, and I didn't know how important that trust was. Other highlights include that she somehow found an actual meadow on the beach for us to take couple portraits, and during our snowy engagement session she let our dog wear her coat! Without doubt, working with Rachel is as good as it can possibly get.
