We had the absolute pleasure of working with Jenn Tai for our wedding, and she did an amazing job of capturing the moments of our special day. Her talent for photojournalism truly shines through in her work. From my nephew doing a flip on the dance floor to our wedding party being goofs, Jenn captured all the candid and heartfelt moments perfectly.

Jenn helped us make the most of an unexpectedly rainy Seattle day and kept us calm as we were freaking out about the weather. The pictures turned out gorgeous; she made us really comfortable in our posing (it helped that we did an engagement session with her), the lighting is beautiful, and she really highlighted the beauty of the venue. We are super happy with our sneak peek, which she got back to us the morning after our wedding.

If you’re looking for unique, genuine, and heartfelt moments captured, go to Jenn! We found her through recommended photographers from a bridal magazine. Upon meeting Jenn, we were drawn that she was a geek (like us!) and was a huge LGBTQIA+ supporter. Our hearts were won over and for our engagement shoot - she recommended the most gorgeous location - Eagle Falls. She also gave us great tips on how not to look awkward in photos together. Throughout our time together (post-poned wedding 2x due to pandemic) Jenn was always quick to respond to messages, sets clear expectations, and was detail orientated to take note of who was important to capture in photos for our wedding day. On the day of, she went around the venue to check for great spots and knew when to pull us in for the right moment! During family photos, she was an amazing lead in directing people for family photos (and we have a huge family!). She also made sure to grab us to catch romantic photos before sunset which we absolutely adore. Post-wedding, we received 3 previews in a week and full photos within a month! Her website also makes it easy to order quality photos for friends and family. Know you’re not only getting amazing photos that last forever but a peace of mind and a genuine experience you’ll look back on fondly.

enn and Brandon are artists who take amazing photos -- the staged ones, but also the real moments that you want to remember: the way your mom looks at your brother when they're sharing a joke, that quick moment between you and your partner, etc. They are incredible and they captured our wedding day with such beautiful photos that I cried happy tears when we saw the album. But just as important, Jenn and Brandon are wonderful human beings who can adapt to changing plans and capture the beauty in moments even under terrible circumstances.

We would know: three days before our planned wedding, my groom (vaccinated) tested positive for COVID. Our wedding plans had to be thrown out the window. We called Jenn and let her know that we were going to have to do something different where we'd be quarantined from our guests and all vendors We let her and Brandon decide if they still wanted to participate. They both said yes.

With some creative thinking, we were able to have a quarantined wedding. We put all of the guests who still wanted to come on a cruise boat, and the groom and I participated from a safe distance on a two person speedboat. Jenn and Brandon shot the whole wedding using long lenses from a safe distance. They were incredible, and we were amazed watching them work so hard during the wedding to capture every moment. These photos mean a lot to us, because we couldn't interact with our guests -- the photos let us feel like we were there. Jenn and Brandon also surprised us with video of our guests giving us wishes -- a huge, wonderful surprise that let us really feel their love.

The pictures here speak better than I ever could. I am so beyond grateful that we picked Jenn and Brandon to shoot our wedding. They are special people and anyone would be lucky to have them.

I don't even know where to begin with how much my husband and I love working with Jenn. She's fun, down-to-earth, hilarious, easy to work with, and captures amazing moments - beautiful, funny, touching, silly, genuine, emotion-filled moments.

We actually stumbled across Jenn's work while researching wedding venues, and she was the first person we emailed as soon as we had our date booked. When COVID-19 turned our plans upside down, we agreed she was the one non-negotiable as we changed our plans - whatever else might change, we wanted to be sure Jenn captured our day, whatever it looked like. She did, along with Brandon, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Our families loved her, and we'll treasure the photos she and Brandon took of our wedding day for the rest of our lives.

Having worked with Jenn for both our engagement and wedding photos and loved both experiences, she's the first person we'll turn to whenever we need portraits or family photos (and, eventually, the giant dance party we didn't get to have this year!) from here on out. I could not recommend Jenn's work more highly - she should definitely be your first call once you have your wedding date!

In short, Jenn is amazing. I would recommend her without reservation. It was obvious during our initial meeting that she takes tremendous pride in her work, but it was also apparent that she has so much fun too! It was snowing and freezing the day of our engagement photos, and Jenn was laughing and smiling with us the entire time. The photographs turned out beautifully too! Our wedding day Jenn had arrived early and orchestrated the most beautiful and artistic first look photo. She truly is an amazing person to work with. Professional, funny, down to earth, and kind hearted. Book her and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Jenn was the best decision we made for our wedding this past June. To call her a vendor doesn't seem right -- she treated us as if we were her own family. She made both me and my husband feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire time we worked with her. Better yet, her photographs were incredible (and not the cookie cutter wedding photos you have seen 1,000 times). I cannot recommend her more -- best money we spent!! Don't think twice, book her before someone else does :-D.

Jenn is AMAZING! I'd been looking at different photographers and was getting discouraged with how all of the photographers' work looked the same and there was no genuine connection with the ones we'd met. I met Jenn at the Woodinville Wedding Show and automatically knew she was the one we wanted when we saw her photos. Her photos are so genuine and real and that is exactly what we wanted. She did not have heavily photoshopped and edited photos on display, her skill at capturing real people and the moments they were experiencing was evident in the work she displayed. I was able to schedule a meeting with her, my fiance and myself and what was supposed to be just a get-to-know-you info session turned into a 2 hour hangout session with us feeling like we had a new friend. We booked her for both our engagement shoot and our wedding that night. My husband and I are like most people and definitely weren't sure how we would feel about being photographed, but Jenn made us feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot. We laughed about the awkwardness of the on-demand kisses but had a great time and the photos were even better than we could have anticipated. At our wedding we gave a very basic list of the photos we wanted and left the rest up to her. She got all the posed shots with us, family and the bridal party and they are all lovely, but the best photos are the ones captured throughout the day that weren't set up. She was able to capture all the real moments and emotions as they happened and we are so grateful. She captures all the love and laughter that goes by so quickly throughout the day and we've had such an amazing time going through and reliving those moments through her photos. We could not be happier with the end result and will definitely be booking Jenn in the future for any photography needs. I highly recommend Jenn Tai and will tell anyone I meet that she's the best!

My husband and I could not be happier that we went with Jenn. We hired her for our engagement photos and wedding for a package deal and she was AWESOME. From the very beginning, she was so prompt with contact, so professional, and we just loved that she was so fun, easy going, and organized. From payments to viewing photos online, it was just so...neat. Everything was high quality. For the photo sessions- we are two very awkward people who don't take pictures well, but Jenn managed to get us to laugh and get more comfortable with being photographed. She even took pics of our dog for our engagement shoot! She coached us and placed us in the right places and she just has such a great eye. As for the photos- wow. She shoots mostly in film I believe and she just captures such a beautiful tone in all the pictures. I love that most of the pictures are not so "posed" but more natural shots just capturing our real smiles and interaction. The colors, lighting, and everything were just SO beautiful. I've shown people some pictures and just about everyone says "Wow, those look so amazing." I am normally very very self conscious about how I look, and the fact that I'm not a skinny bride, but Jenn constantly encouraged me to love myself and embrace all my beauty, and she really did capture me in a way where I love how I look and how my husband and I look together in the photos. She also took photos of the details we often miss as the wedding goes by in a blur. And the wonderful photos of the guests! She took so many great candid photos of everyone who was there. After all this planning for a wedding, it goes by in a flash and all you're left with are photos. We are going to treasure these photos for years and years to come and I will always be thankful for the day we met Jenn.

Jenn photographed our wedding, and we could not be happier with our choice! I knew Jenn was our girl the first time we met her. She was kind, professional, goofy and really listened to what we wanted. Given that my husband and I both don't like posing for photos, we were nervous about being in front of the camera for an entire day; she made us feel completely at ease. We also felt that she was very well-priced, given her incredible talent.

On the day of, Jenn (with help from her very capable assistant) was fantastic. When it was time for getting ready shots and two of my bridesmaids were nowhere to be found, she rolled with it; she took shots of my husband and came back in time to get pictures of the girls. We told her we hated being distracted by photographers during weddings, and she was like a ninja during our ceremony. At the reception, one of our overly-zealous dancing guests kicked a really tall speaker over and Jenn CAUGHT IT WITH ONE HAND while holding on to the camera with another. It could have been a disaster, but she was so calm about it I don't think anyone even noticed. She was a fabulous part of our wedding, and I was sad to see her go at the end of the night!

The most important thing is the photos, and they are breathtaking. I really never knew I could look so beautiful. She made us look good, but also captured the spirit of the day. Her pictures covered every important little moment and will serve as a reminder of our wedding for years to come. We have already had some shots printed for ourselves and family members. We have also gotten tons of compliments and requests from friends for her info!

Photos are such a huge part of any wedding, and I can't tell you how good it felt to know we were in good hands. We highly, highly, highly recommend Jenn!
