Dana was amazing to work with!! She is so fun, calm, and carries a great "everything will be fine" attitude, which makes a huge difference on your wedding day! We used her for both our engagement pictures and for our wedding, and the pictures for both are incredible! My husband and I are not big picture takers, and Dana caught onto that right away and kept the shoot fun to help us. Our wedding ran late, and it looked like Dana wouldn't be able to capture any of the dancing, but instead she came up to me, and ask if we'd like to pay for an additional hour, all I had to do was say yes and the issue was gone! Amazing quality, fun to work with, and a great price, what more could you ask for? I would highly recommend Dana to anyone!

I hired Dana for both my engagement photoshoot, as well as my wedding in August 2016. Dana is amazing to work with and is incredibly talented! My husband doesn’t enjoy getting his picture taken and was very worried when we went to do our engagement photos. Dana is so easy to work with and quickly took his fears away by giving great direction on posing and helping us laugh and feel comfortable! When our wedding day arrived, he was no longer worried about taking photos and was comfortable in front of the camera.

Dana is very professional, arrives on time, takes incredible photos, and really listens to our requests on moments/styles of photos we would like. Not only does Dana take great photos, but she also interacted great with our guests and we had multiple people at our wedding tell us how awesome she is.

Dana is passionate about photography and went above and beyond to make our day special! For my wedding day, I planned on having a sparkler send off at 10:50, but had only paid to have Dana stay until 9:30. Dana was staying in the area that evening and instead of calling it a night, Dana surprised us and came back to take photos of the send off!

While we haven’t gotten our wedding photos back since it was just a week ago, we did receive our engagement photos and were so happy! I highly recommend hiring Dana as a photographer for your engagement and wedding photos!

Dana is amazing. Extraordinarily talented, professional, relatable, and the photographer that you absolutely should work with to capture beautiful images of your special day. After seeing Dana's work, we knew that we wanted her, even as we lived and planned to get married on the East Coast. We flew her out initially to shoot our engagement photos, and then a year later for our wedding.

Let's be honest, as a couple, posing for hundreds of pictures can be a bit awkward, not to mention the corralling of family and friends as well. Dana put everyone at ease, while at the same time expertly and professionally ensuring that every moment and friend/family combination was both captured and imbued with her artistry. Dana was such a pleasure to work with (and second shooter, Katie). She has a very calm demeanor that was very helpful on what can be a stressful and hectic day. We planned our wedding long-distance so she was very flexible in speaking with us over the phone, setting up a short-notice meeting when we were in town and responding promptly to emails. She had knowledge of our wedding venue, a creative vision for the photography and was particularly skilled at capturing photos with excellent lighting. Most wedding are already set in a scenic place and you are already looking good in your hair and make-up, so what I think makes the difference is the ability to capture emotion during the day and using the lighting/environment to it's full advantage and beauty. This is something that seemed to come naturally to Dana! She also worked great with our wedding party, other guests and vendors. I definitely recommend her!

We had an amazing time with Dana (and a second shooter, Satskia on the day of the wedding) for our engagement shoot and wedding day photography. Dana had a great sense of ease about her and she took extraordinary photographs. We were so happy to see sun on the day of our chilly autumn wedding day, especially in Seattle, and Dana took advantage for he golden light for some truly remarkable pictures. I had thought pictures would feel a bit stressful, but as we drove to the restaurant (Oh, yes, Dana also drove us around for the pictures! So generous!) after finishing all the pictures I felt so peaceful and satisfied with the memories we had made... and the wedding ceremony was about to begin! It was a wonderful day, and we are pleased with the captured memories we have thanks to Dana and Satskia's hard work.

Oh my gosh - there really aren't enough words to express how glad we are to have had Dana as our wedding photographer. Easily one of the best, if not the best, decisions we made for our wedding (besides marrying each other, of course). Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos turned out beautifully. But besides her glaringly obvious talent as a photographer Dana was so wonderful to have around. She was calm, unassuming and fun. I was so so nervous at our engagement session and she took her time, suggested that my then-fiance and I have a drink and then shot photos like she was just one of our friends. She totally put us both at ease, made us laugh and oddly enough made "snuggling each other in the leaves at Greenlake while someone shoots pictures of us" seem normal! We were both so excited to see her again at the wedding where she effortlessly whisked us through pictures with our huge family. She truly became one of our friends and so brilliantly captured all of the sweet moments of our wedding. Her turnaround time was so fast, her prices are so reasonable and her talent is second-to-none! We can't recommend her enough.

Both our engagement session and our wedding day photos were awesome, and Dana was so much fun to work with! She was also great at wrangling some of the more camera shy family to get great shots.

Dana was so wonderful throughout our wedding planning process. Early on, our wedding venue shut down. Dana was actually the one to call and tell us, and was so supportive and thoughtful, assuring us that she would help us find a new photographer if we had to change the date to one that she was already booked for. As we worked to find a date, she checked in with us to see if there was anything she could do, and in the end luckily our new date was one she was still available for. Our engagement shoot was a blast and made us so comfortable with Dana and eager to have her around on the wedding day. By the end of the wedding, we were sad to see her go and can't wait to have an excuse to take more photos with her. She is talented, thoughtful, professional and all around everything you could want in a wedding photographer. We couldn't believe the turnaround time on our photos (so fast), and the quality of the photos, both in content and finish (they are fantastic). We can't recommend Dana enough!

Dana Pleasant Photography is the best choice we could have made for my daughter's wedding! Dana and the assistant she brought were so kind, calm, attentive and professional. They were busy taking photos all the time but were totally willing to take any requested photos as well. Dana is super easy to work with and very flexible. She has also done graduation and engagement photos for our family and we have always been thrilled with the results. The wedding photos are artistically beautiful and also perfectly tell the story of the day. We couldn't be happier!!!
