Chateau Lill's grounds are beautifully designed and will exceed your expectations. The most popular space can fit up to 150 and provides a setting that serves as a quaint reminder of the Lill Family's European ancestry. The wines and the facilities blend to create elegant and inviting moments with rustic warmth. The Grand Room features sparkling brass chandeliers and firelight, and the gardens span an adorning ten-acre estate. The chateau estate provides a venue with deep character and ambiance that couples and guests adore. The grand room opens into an expansive old-world style terrace; a short walk away is a hidden lawn nestled among cedars, which provides a private setting for your ceremony.

As a self-admitted Type A planner, I had a lot of questions throughout the process. Morgan at Chateau Lill was responsive, knowledgeable, and kind every step of the way. She knows the local vendor scene inside and out and offered thoughtful recommendations that made our day shine. Between my mom and me, we sent plenty of emails — and Morgan responded to every one with detailed, thoughtful answers that could honestly be used as a masterclass in hospitality.
Chateau Lill also hosts preview days, which are such a fun and helpful part of the planning process — perfect for finalizing vendors, reviewing details, or simply getting excited for your big day.
A few weeks before our wedding day, Bre from the Chateau Lill team sat down in person at the venue with me, my mom, my now-husband, our day-of coordinator, and our caterer to go over the full timeline, rentals, and logistics to ensure everything was seamless. Because of that preparation, we were completely stress-free on the wedding day.
If you value details, organization, and a true partnership in your wedding journey, I cannot recommend Chateau Lill enough.

From early planning stages to the final toast, everything ran flawlessly. Landis and Bre brought calm, organization, and kindness to every detail, handling each question and curveball with grace. One of my most favorite venues in Washington! The grounds for photographs are stunning all year round. The indoor spaces are gorgeous and can be personalized easily, and the staff go out of thier way to be accomodating. Every client I've worked with at Delille Cellars, has loved the entire experoience.
We LOVE DeLille! We've had the pleasure of planning and designing several events at the chateau. Their venue coordinator, Diane, has been nothing short of amazing. She's kind, concise, and a joy to work with. The grounds are kept beautiful year round, making any wedding photo gorgeous.
Such a romantic venue. Close to everything but when you're there you feel like you are miles away from it all. Professional, helpful, courteous staff. With it's wine, gardens, grapevines, beautiful architecture...it's a little slice of Italy right here in our own backyard!
