Some things which immediately stood out to me about working with Carol: Her obvious experience and talent as a professional photographer, and how much joy and fun she brings to the work.


She was so responsive and friendly when we first met remotely, and even more impressive the day of the wedding.


Everyone at our wedding (vendors and guests alike) were commenting to me about how friendly and awesome Carol was, and I definitely felt it too. I genuinely believe she loves working with people and doing what she does, and you can really tell (as the bride and groom especially) that she's refined how to bring out and guide your own affection for your partner and happiness the day of your wedding to capture so many amazing photos.

It was clear to me then that I had never really worked with a professional photographer, at least at her level before, by the way she was able to very quickly use her own real amicability to get me to smile naturally and pose in a way which reflected how I actually felt.


My husband wears his heart on his sleeve, whatever he thinks is super readable, but I've always been way more reserved and I can tell you that Carol may be the first person that got me to fully get out of my own distracting thoughts for the camera (and did so repeatedly).


There were several shockingly perfect examples to choose from, but one photo in particular sticks out in my mind as the - "I've never seen myself look that unreservedly happy before. I've never smiled that completely and naturally on camera before - and I look really good doing it too!"


For some people that may be no big deal, but if you and/or your partner have any reserve - any unconscious guards up - I think Carol is the best photographer you're going to find.


You're going to get so many photos that are stunningly professional, and you're going to be delighted through the whole process. Like you're hanging out with your (extremely talented) best friend. Definitely one of the best investments we made in our wedding.


I'll end by mentioning that when I let our wedding planner know earlier in the process we were going with Carol our planner sort of perked up suddenly and in a really bright excited tone she says, "Oh! You got Carol! Carol is SO great." She didn't respond like that to any of our other vendors (who were also wonderful actually). At that point I figured we'd probably made the right choice. During and after the wedding, I know we did.

We feel like we lucked out with having Carol as our photographer for our wedding. Carol is proactive and makes everything easy for couples that don't know what they're doing (i.e. us!). She scheduled meetings to ask what we want captured and gave us ideas on what would work well with our wedding itinerary. She also asks questions that we hadn't even thought of which helped immensely. Her suggestions on what works well and what other couples typically do was a big help for us (did I mention we didn't really know what we wanted at the time).

Each meeting we had with Carol was encouraging and made is feel comfortable and reinforced the idea that we had chosen an excellent photographer to memorialize our wedding. The day of the wedding, Carol showed up before she was scheduled to arrive and began taking some shots even though she wasn't supposed to be on the clock yet. When it was time for the actual planned photos, she reminded me that I was missing my suit jacket and asked if I had a boutonniere. I was a bit scatterbrained with everything that was going on so I was grateful at her attention to detail that I had a boutonniere somewhere that nobody else had remembered.

Carol was able to get all the shots that we had requested and had done so in a timely manner so our guests could enjoy the rest of the wedding. We were able to get a preview of the photos within days of our wedding which turned out amazing. We received a copy of all the photos within about 3 weeks which also turned out great. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, we don't know if you can find somebody better than Carol and will definitely recommend her to friends in the future!

Carol's shots of our wedding were beautiful! And she has fantastic energy, such a nice presence about her that makes you relaxed. She is unobtrusive and easy going. We really enjoyed her. Plus, love all the shots she took.

We can't overstate how much we and our families LOVE Carol. We hired Carol for our wedding and an engagement shoot. Every step of the way, Carol was great to work with. Her pictures are beautiful and she has tons of experience - that was, of course, important to us. More than that, she is warm, enthusiastic, and a blast to work with. She made taking our photos so much fun. Carol is also very professional, responsive to communication, and was flexible with us when our plans had to change. She even helped us nail down our day of timeline. Do yourself a favor and hire Carol!

Carol Harrold was, by far, the most important vendor of our daughter's beautiful January wedding “Dream Team!” Our daughter and her fiancee were so impressed with Carol from the first meeting at her studio until the final photo of the wedding reception! She did an engagement photo shoot with them just after their engagement, which they loved. The pictures from that shoot were amazing and were used for bridal showers, the wedding website and their wedding guestbook. Carol was so focused on making sure the details that were important to Ashley & Marco were covered and that they were worked into the wedding day timeline. Carol worked closely with the wedding planner to be sure that every photo detail was accounted for and that there was a realistic timeframe to accomplish everything without exhausting the wedding party before the ceremony! She also did an in depth preview of the locations that Ashley & Marco wanted to have First Look and post ceremony photos taken and worked closely with our transportation company to direct the wedding party shuttle. She even created an "inclement weather photo plan" since it was a January wedding. I can't speak highly enough about the experience we had with Carol and her team throughout the wedding planning and the actual wedding. And of course it goes without saying that she captured the beauty and love of the entire day with her expertise and attention to detail. Ashley & Marco received a sneak peek of their photos quickly and had their full gallery of photos by their one month anniversary - a truly special gift! We are thrilled to have an absolutely beautiful documentation of our daughter and new son in law’s magical wedding day to enjoy.

We are so happy we hired Carol to be our wedding photographer. Her happiness and just overall attitude of adventure and fun were one of the things that stood out. My husband and I aren't huge photo people, but she made the experience of wedding photos and engagement photos super fun, and they turned out amazing and not staged at all as I feared they would. She took our requests into account as well as coming up with fun things of her own. I felt like I was in great hands and had total trust in her. Would highly recommend!

Carol is amazing. We could not have been happier with our experience with her. We won our wedding package and she still treated us like a client with respect and nothing but the most empathy and professionalism. She is kind hearted and hard working. She busted her butt to make sure we got incredible photos that matched the look and theme we were going for. She went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. She is so easy to be around that it makes posing for photos easy and fun. She is great at guiding you and making you feel comfortable while also never being in the way. She also took the time to view our photos with us and answer questions. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. She was just phenomenal.

Carol was a joy to work with for our dream wedding at the Alderbrook this August. The Alderbrook has always held a special place for both of us and we wanted to share it with our family and friends. Carol was able to capture what we love about the place in the photos. We are so happy with the photos of ourselves and our blended family--we will treasure them always. Bonus--was the photo booth for the reception. It captured the fun of the evening and the personalities of our guests and family.

Carol is one of the best vendor we work with, she is very detailed oriented, professional and responsible. She participated in most of our preparation steps and she also went to our wedding venue prior to the day voluntarily only to familiarize the location and check all shooting spots. She listened and accommodated all special requirement that we asked . Of course she did a fantastic job on shooting photos during the wedding day, she made our whole process going through very smoothly. She also make the post editing process lean and come out beautiful pictures in time and in very high quality. Thank you Carol for everything you did for us!

It was such a pleasure to have Carol as our wedding photographer! She's super friendly, accommodating and was full of awesome ideas on photoshoot locations. We love the photos and had an incredible time during the photoshoot. She made us feel very special, was very diligent with our needs and visions on what we want, etc. We've met in person before the wedding day to discuss ideas and she went afterwards to see the locations, I was very impressed with how attentive she was!
