I aim to make the process as seamless and enjoyable as possible so you can focus on the moment while I focus on preserving it. I believe your story should be told by allowing the moments to unfold naturally while I capture the emotion in the most authentic way with digitals and/or film.
My approach is to capture not only the big moments but also the quiet, meaningful interactions and in-between moments. I value the spontaneity of candid moments, the emotional depth of documentary-style photography, and the artistry of editorial images. Seamless and fun
Amanda was everything we could have asked for and more! She was professional and responsive to our requests. My husband and I aren’t the most comfortable around the camera but Amanda made us feel differently. She did a beautiful job capturing our day. She was able to turn around our edited photo album in less than a month! Would recommend her to anyone!

A day to remember, thanks to Amanda!
Amanda shot our engagement photos in October 2024 and our wedding in September 2025 in Chicago. In between, she moved back to Seattle, but she still flew back to Chicago for our wedding at no additional cost to us. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and captured some stunning moments throughout the city. On the wedding day, she not only brought the same incredible energy and artistry, but she also helped keep the day on track and masterfully orchestrated a chaotic group of wedding party and family members. Her patience and organization helped keep the day fun and stress-free for us. As for the photos, we have only seen the previews so far but they are GORGEOUS!! We can't wait to see the rest of the album! We could not be more grateful to Amanda for capturing every moment of our special day.

AMAZING Photographer!!
Amanda is such a talented photographer and a genuinely wonderful person to work with! She was super responsive to any questions we had and truly cares about her clients and the quality of the work she delivers. My husband and I felt very comfortable working with her during our engagement photoshoot and on our wedding day. Our favorite thing about Amanda is that she made the photoshoots FUN and got us to come out of our shells so she could capture some truly candid moments. Amanda, we can't thank you enough for your hard work!!! Keep it up - we pray that your business continues to grow and that you're able to go far in living out your dreams!

Excellent adventure photography
Amanda was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for! She is friendly and sweet, and she made us feel completely comfortable during our engagement and wedding shoots. She was professional and easy to communicate with, and she was up for clambering down a riverbank, tromping around in the rain, and driving up to a remote wedding location to capture our adventure wedding. Our wedding photos were beautifully edited. We highly recommend Amanda!

Amanda was so amazing!
Amanda photographed my private beach wedding. Working with her was a dream, I could not have hoped for a better experience. She was professional, easy to work with, and so sweet and kind. She brought my wedding photos to life, leaving me with the most amazing pictures to cherish. I highly recommend Amanda and will hire her for all my future events.

Honestly, the Only Good Thing About 2020
Amanda Ford is not only SO affordable, she is professional, conscientious, and talented! She made my husband comfortable and our pictures turned out so beautiful. I got so many compliments. I got married during Covid-19 and she was safe, flexible, and returned our pictures quickly. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.
