My husband and I went into our first meeting with Janet only having the major details sorted out (colors, venue, etc). She helped us think of the smaller details like guest book, signs, etc. and provided the decorations for the venue. She was truly phenomenal and we couldn’t have had our wedding without her. She made sure the day went smoothly and provided all the decorations and florals. There were no hiccups throughout the day and everything was stunning. My only regret is not hiring her earlier!

Hannah helped us for over a year to plan our perfect wedding in Lesner Inn. She did a great job and everything went smoothly during our special day!

Cynthia and team did an amazing job for our wedding! She was professional, responsive and dependable. My fiancé and I fell in love with her and her team! She was absolutely lovely and extremely pleasant to work with. She was flexible when the coronavirus pandemic hit, which meant a lot to us. She was extremely communicative and responsive which put our minds at ease. She truly loves what she does and you can see that in her work.

These two ladies are just awesome! We had the pleasure of working with them on a wedding in Charlottesville, VA. Although the couple hired as the caterers the week of, these ladies did not waste anytime calling and giving us all the details we needed. They are so pleasant and personable in person and over the phone. They are the calm you need in the violent storm that can be wedding planning. We highly recommend them to any bride looking for planning and coordination. It will make the process a lot easier and I'm sure you won't regret the decision!

Ellasin is AMAZING. I knew from the moment that we first spoke on the phone, she is who I wanted to work with. She is very kind, honest and funny! She was very flexible with dates and planning, especially with the pandemic. She is very understanding and patient. I’ve called her countless times crying because something wasn’t going right and she would calm me down and help figure out a solution while I was still having a panic attack. Straight to business. I was not worried at all with decorations because she knew my style immediately after the second or third time we spoke. I LOVED my bouquet and my bridesmaid flowers! If you are looking for a planner, decorator, florist and honest friend....she is your girl! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In the weeks leading up to our wedding, I worked closely with Ashley, who was absolutely phenomenal. Her communication was timely, clear, and reassuring every step of the way. She helped us craft our timeline, refine our vision, and think through logistics we never would have considered on our own. Her experience at The Cavalier Hotel was especially valuable, and her recommendations made a huge difference. Taylor… truly an angel on earth. She ran our rehearsal like an absolute pro while also somehow feeling like she had been part of our family forever. And on the wedding day? She was the moment. The calm. The energy. The glue holding everything together. I’m someone who can run a little high-strung, and I found myself gravitating toward her all day because she was just so grounding, kind, and steady. She made everything feel easy, and that is such a gift on your wedding day. Lauren was also there on the wedding day ensuring everything went perfectly, and she truly delivered. Having done a little event planning of my own, I did not think much about getting a wedding planner for my son’s wedding but my own mother insisted that I should do so in order to be able to enjoy the day as Mother of the Groom. Not only am I glad I took her advice but I am so incredibly thankful to have chosen Coastal Events. Kari and Marci helped the couple think through every aspect of the wedding so there would be no surprises, listened to their thoughts to make the celebration a truly personal one, offered constructive feedback when the situation merited it and figured out how to make less traditional ideas work. They handled all the details from the initial planning session to the packing up of the last centerpiece after the newlyweds had made their getaway, allowing us to be present for this special day instead of juggling vendors and stressing about minutiae. Our guests had an amazing time and we will forever be grateful to Kari and Marci for making the start of our children’s lives as husband and wife everything they dreamed it could be!
