If you’re debating on hiring a planner, stop debating and request Tara and her team. Weddings are so stressful, it’s no secret, but Tara (and the two Jessica’s I had) are amazing at what they do. I feel like I barely had to lift a finger. I got the package where Tara was involved the last 90 days (which was perfect for me and what I needed!) and their professionalism took so much stress off of me when I needed it the most. Any little detail, any major issue, they have it handled. Throughout my wedding night, Jessica and Jessica both came up to me and my husband periodically to check if there was anything we needed. They even kept me calm when a tree fell on my DJs van, my bridesmaids car, and my car. These three wonderful ladies kept me sane and I don’t think I could’ve gone through a wedding without any of them!

We had Tara and her team help with for our beach wedding in May. Thanks to Covid, a ton of changes were made and things were up in the air until the last minute. Tara and her team went above and beyond their responsibilities by helping come up with alternative suggestions and being absolute rockstars the day of. I am usually a worry wart, but day of I felt so confident in their abilities that I didn’t even see the venue until right before the ceremony. Every detail was completely put together already, exactly as they had promised! I have never felt so calm and taken care of. We will absolutely be recommending her and her team to everyone we know.

Tara and her team were absolutely AMAZING. We were on the fence about whether or not we needed planning services. Let me tell you - you do! They were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The software she uses is amazing as well - and made everything 100x easier. The day of was bliss - we didn't have to worry about a thing! Everything went without a single issue, and it was truly a carefree day for us! Now that it's over, we miss our discussions with Tara and the team - they were such a big and important part of the process and we got to know each other pretty well! 100/10 would recommend!

Tara and her team are amazing. I booked Tara for "Day-Of" planning but really felt like I had full service wedding planning. Tara took such care to make sure things were fixed by another vendor the day before my wedding and preserved my sanity! She was so kind, patient, and accommodating through the whole process. She is very organized and helped me stay on track with wedding planning. Josie led my day and ensured it went as smoothly as possible and team members Jessica and Kayla also went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day!!

I could not believe how organized and fun Tara and her team made my daughters day. They took care of everything! And the guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been too.

Tara and her team were AMAZING! I hired Tara for day of coordination but she did so much more! I'm so glad I had her. She asked questions I had never even thought about which made the wedding day go so smoothly. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted and looked fantastic. Not only did she deal with the vendors at a point when I was completely over the wedding planning, she made sure the ballroom looked flawless and it matched my vision completely. As the mother of the bride I very much looked forward to celebrating my daughter's big day. I did not however look forward to the stress and chaos that comes with it. The wedding planner was my vendor, the one that would be chosen to help me be in the moment for my daughter.

From the first moment Tara and I met I knew she was the one, the one that would hold my hand and walk me thru what would be uncharted territory(at least uncharted for me) and the one that would shoulder the stresses of the day.
And that is exactly what she did, she guided me thru the timeline, she advised me on vendors and contracts and when Covid 19 turned all of our plans upside down she jumped in and communicated the changes to everybody that needed to know.
Then comes the big day - that is when she really shines. To say she came prepared is an understatement - she was a walking convenience store. Need a mint ask Tara, need a tissue Tara has them and don't expect to lift a finger for anything. She completely allowed me to be in the moment with and for Kristin. My only job was to be by my daughters side and savor every minute. And that is exactly what I did, I watched my beautiful daughter become even more beautiful from every last curl in her hair to the last touch of makeup, there was not a moment missed.
I cannot thank Tara enough for giving me the gift a stress free day and most importantly time to be in the moment, every moment of my daughter and son-in-law's big day.
Anybody planning a big day please do yourself a favor and hire a wedding planner and you won't find a better one than Simply Southern Weddings by Tara!!
