Having done a little event planning of my own, I did not think much about getting a wedding planner for my son’s wedding but my own mother insisted that I should do so in order to be able to enjoy the day as Mother of the Groom. Not only am I glad I took her advice but I am so incredibly thankful to have chosen Coastal Events. Kari and Marci helped the couple think through every aspect of the wedding so there would be no surprises, listened to their thoughts to make the celebration a truly personal one, offered constructive feedback when the situation merited it and figured out how to make less traditional ideas work. They handled all the details from the initial planning session to the packing up of the last centerpiece after the newlyweds had made their getaway, allowing us to be present for this special day instead of juggling vendors and stressing about minutiae. Our guests had an amazing time and we will forever be grateful to Kari and Marci for making the start of our children’s lives as husband and wife everything they dreamed it could be! I can’t recommend Coastal Events enough!

Marci and Kari were invaluable, organized, intuitive, supportive, and professional. The wedding planning atarted and ended with their guidance. They provided us with a worksheet on Day 1 of planning that guided us through every detail, some of which we had not thought of ourselves. Our venue provided a beautiful backdrop, but their vision and attention to detail were invaluable. Our one "almost crisis" transportation issue 4 days before the wedding was handled and solved. They know how to solve crises and have solutions when unforseen situations occur. They were the ultimate professionals but also friends. They were so kind and supportive and took away the worries and stress, allowing us to savor every moment. Marci and Kari are incredible women and I am so thrilled they were there to make the day so perfect!

Marci and Kari both were amazing! They paid attention to all of the fine details that I wanted to include in my day. They made sure everything was decorated and perfectly placed. They made sure I was completely taken care of and made all of the things happen behind the scenes that wouldn’t have been possible without them.

Both Marci and Kari were Great!! They helped with all my questions and concerns about the preparations for our Daughter's Wedding. Everything turned out beautifully and went very smoothly. If any issues did arise, I was not made aware, as they kept everything organized and professional. I don't think there were any issues though... 🥰
We would highly recommend these fabulous ladies to anyone and would certainly use them again ourselves... we do have other children, so who knows!! Thank you so much for such a magical day and wonderful experience!

Marci and Kari were the best day of coordinators we could have asked for! They are warm, fun, and extremely organized. They made sure to go over every little detail with us before the day so it would run smoothly and we wouldn't have to stress about anything. While the day mostly went perfectly, there were a couple of unavoidable issues like the tent heater not working. However, we didn't even know that had happened until the day after- they really prioritized making our day stress free. It was truly the best day of our lives, thanks in large part to Marci and Kari! Highly, highly recommend!
