Getting married in Old Town Alexandria was truly a dream, and Torpedo Factory Art Center (TFAC) was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. The location is incredible, full of charm and history, and created such a special atmosphere for our day. From our very first email, Deri was amazing to work with. She gave us a thorough tour of the venue and provided a helpful list of recommended vendors, which made planning so much easier. Throughout the entire process, she was incredibly supportive. She even took the time to meet with a vendor who was new to the venue, ensuring everything went smoothly. The venue itself is extremely flexible and can truly accommodate any type of event. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend TFAC to any couple looking for a beautiful, historic, and well-supported wedding location.

Embassy Suites Old Town provided the perfect setting for our wedding celebration. Sonia is the reason I chose the venue and I'm so glad my decision was right - her support and guidance were invaluable throughout the entire process. Kevin was also incredibly supportive and responsive whenever we had questions or concerns. When Sonia was out for a month, her coverage Maddie was also exceptional to work with. Having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in different spaces within the hotel made the logistics much smoother while creating distinct experiences for guests throughout the event. One of our guests even mentioned it was their favorite wedding they'd attended! For summer brides: pack bug spray if you plan photos by the fountain - beautiful pictures, but plan ahead!

Landini Brothers Restaurant was the perfect venue for the rehearsal dinner for our wedding. The restaurant accommodated our 55 guests in the charming upstairs Wine Room. To quote my mother, “It was the best Italian food I’ve ever had.” The restaurant’s manager/event coordinator, Ashlie Dolce, was an excellent partner who helped me craft a menu and an Italian dining experience for our guests. My wife and I consider Italian cuisine our favorite, and we wanted to give our guests the experience of a multi-course, full Italian meal. We will be visiting Italy during our honeymoon, so we also wanted to give our guests a taste of Italy. Ashlie helped us craft a “best-of-tour” menu featuring our favorite Italian foods: fresh-baked bread, olive oil, pasta, caprese, fresh meats and seafood, tiramisu, cannoli, and fresh fruits. She also guided me in selecting several outstanding house-label wines, which paired perfectly with each course. Beyond providing the serving space for world-class food and wine, the Wine Room was a perfectly sized space for our guests. It was equipped with a bar and had a beautiful, perfect ambience. Working with Ashlie on the event experience and logistics was exceptional. Her staff helped coordinate setting up small décor, made great suggestions on how the timing of when courses would be served, and helpfully provided accommodations for guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions. One of our guests, who is both allergic to gluten and dairy (e.g., pasta, cheese, cream!), told us that she was “in heaven” as she enjoyed her food that evening. To this day, I don’t know how an Italian restaurant managed to make a guest so happy without being able to serve staples such as pasta, cheese, or cream, but Landini Brothers did so without sacrificing an outstanding quality of food. Finally, Ashlie made sure that everything stayed within budget. She helped me set up a flexible “pay-only-what-you-open” arrangement for alcohol while making suggestions on how to best save money (such as purchasing by the bottle as opposed to the glass) and arranging for a cap on alcohol so that there wasn’t an accidental overrun of budget (which ended up not being hit, and so stayed within the max budget). My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better rehearsal dinner experience, and we have Landini Brothers and Ashlie to thank for it!

We recently held our wedding reception at the Union Street Public House, and we are absolutely blown away by the experience. From the initial inquiry to the final toast, the service provided by the venue and their phenomenal event coordinator, Cheryl, was nothing short of exceptional. Planning a wedding can be chaotic, but Cheryl's attentiveness made the entire journey incredibly smooth. She was a dream to work with! Her communication skills are top-tier; she was always available to answer our calls, respond to detailed emails promptly, and patiently guide us through the myriad of decisions required for a perfect evening. We always felt informed and prioritized. On the night of the reception, everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The atmosphere at the Public House, nestled right in historic Old Town, was exactly what we envisioned—warm, inviting, and vibrant. The staff were professional and efficient, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and taken care of. Cheryl was present and discreetly managing every detail, meaning my husband and I didn't have to worry about a single thing other than enjoying our celebration. If you want a beautiful venue in the heart of historic Old Town, with a coordinator who treats your day with immense care and professionalism, Union Street Public House and Cheryl are the perfect choice. We had an excellent experience with Cedar Knoll for our wedding reception. The venue was lovely, the bar staff was great, and we and our guests had a wonderful time. Our space was beautiful and the perfect size for our group. The restaurant staff was superb. The entrees were spectacular and well-received. The cake was beautiful and delicious, as well. Our flowers and cake topper were added perfectly. The passed hors d’oeuvres of asparagus en croute and mini-burgers were a highlight. There was plenty of room for dancing and the views were magnificent. Thank you, Cedar Knoll, for a beautiful and fun reception we will always remember!

Work with Tania for our wedding whom was great! Answered all out questions prior to the wedding and made sure we were stress free during the wedding! Also have nice rooms and banquet staff who all worked hard! Great venue for a wedding around town.

We loved having our wedding at the George Washington National Masonic Memorial! My fiancé and I actually met while working at this venue three years prior to our wedding, so it was a special place for us. We were married in the theater, had a cocktail hour and reception following in Grand Masonic Hall. The building itself is an amazing work of art, with a lot of great photo opportunities - think red, gold, and marble. We received many compliments from our guests on our choice of this unique venue. We also provided guests with a chance to ride up the elevators during cocktail hour to see the view from the ninth floor - spectacular! Radka and Kevin, and all of the tour guides, are great to work with. We would highly recommend this beautiful venue to other couples getting married in Alexandria!

I loved working with Fr. Kleinmann and Page Johnson was my cantor. She has a voice like an angel!

Our wedding at Woodlawn was absolutely beautiful, and went without a hitch from start to finish. Expectations, timelines, and communication were really clear, the price was quite reasonable for the DMV area, and we got super lucky with a beautiful fall day. Set up and tear down were straightforward, and we used a planner recommended by the venue to ensure the day went smoothly, taking all the guesswork out of it. All in all, I can't imagine having done our wedding anywhere else!
