Moriah was patient, kind & knowledgeable, things that were greatly appreciated by us during these crazy times AND after having to find a 2nd venue for our wedding after short notification that our org venue would not be able to accommodate events. They are a hidden gem! They are affordable AND flexible on several policies such as outside vendors (caterer & bartender) which can be hard to find in our area. We will be forever grateful to them!

The Garden Alexandria was the absolute perfect venue for our cocktail hour and reception. We celebrated our wedding here in early November 2025 with 68 guests, and we could not have imagined a better place to gather and celebrate.

The aesthetic of this venue made it an easy yes for us. We were going for a very specific vibe. Rustic, winter, outdoorsy, and country. The Garden provided the perfect canvas for that vision, which allowed us to keep décor minimal while still creating a space that felt warm, intentional, and beautiful. Every detail we added felt like it belonged.

The layout of the venue is flawless, especially for a wedding our size. The space allowed the evening to flow naturally and feel relaxed without ever feeling crowded. Early guests were able to enjoy the outdoor area and play games while waiting for cocktail hour, which set a fun and welcoming tone. When the reception began, the transition was seamless and exactly what we hoped for.

The flexibility of this venue deserves special recognition. We were planning from out of town, with an eleven-hour drive, and logistics around décor and setup could have been stressful. Instead, the experience was smooth and reassuring. A huge shout-out to James, the event manager, who was incredible to work with. His flexibility, professionalism, and calm presence made a huge difference. He worked seamlessly with our day-of coordinator, and together they created a night where literally nothing went wrong. It was truly perfect.

Every detail, every space, and every moment at The Garden Alexandria exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a romantic, rustic venue with incredible flow and flexibility, stop your search and book The Garden Alexandria. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

We chose this location for our wedding welcome dinner and it was perfect. There's indoor and outdoor patio seating with ample room to walk around and sit. The decor was modern and industrial which we really liked, and it was close to a metro station with lots of parking. Mary was great to correspond with and Sterling was there to help us throughout our event, especially with connecting our laptop/phone to the speaker system seamlessly. We used the dry bar for our drinks and the tables for our catered food/desserts and the space didn't look cramp at all. We set up a photo booth using their greenery wall and that was a big hit with our friends! The venue provided us time to set up and clean up after which helped us a lot. The garage also opened so people could enter which gave it a more airy and open feel. We had about 100 guests but it could honestly fit more without being cramped. We recommend this venue for any event!

We produced one of our multi-city fashion shows at this venue and booked it sight unseen. Not ever seeing this venue before we showed up the day of the show of course made us a little anxious. We were absolutely thrilled when we arrived and were greeted with the most professional staff we had worked with. The venue was amazing, accommodating to all of our needs, beautifully decorated with more options that we expected to help make our event truly successful. The staff was so helpful and had smiles on their face the whole time. We will be using this venue when in Virginia every time and would recommend to anyone to create lasting memories with no stress.

I had my wedding at The Garden and it was the perfect venue for us! Beautiful, rustic setting that worked for our ceremony and reception. The outdoor space really topped things off so our guests had lots of room to spread out and play outdoor games. I hired Moriah Veer as my day of coordinator which made the day so much less stressful for me. She thought of questions to ask me in advance to make sure the day ran smoothly before I even thought of them. Since she works at the venue she knew what would be best for everything. I highly recommend this venue for weddings or other events!

We had a great experience working with Moriah. Early 2020, we had started making plans to host a small wedding reception in October 2020 at The Garden ALX. Unfortunately, COVID wrecked our plans, and Moriah later worked with us to use the space to host a going away party when my husband and I moved away from the D.C. area. I would highly recommend their venue and services to anyone!

We had a wonderful graduation party here and everyone had a blast! People were raving about how beautiful the venue was! thank you so much Moriah and Garden for a wonderful and memorable event!

The Garden was the perfect venue for my baby shower that had a boho chic theme. There was plenty of parking, and the event coordinator that I worked with, Moriah, was an absolute angel. She was around for whatever we needed and even shared some photos with me that she captured. I would host another event here any day.
