For 2 type A people getting married, we were nervous about handing over control to someone else but we also knew that we just didn't have the time or expertise to pull off our wedding the way we envisioned. During our first phone call with Luisa, we got the sense that she is good at getting things done and doesn't beat around the bush. We've worked with her as a full time planner across 2 weddings since then, (an intimate COVID ceremony, and our full celebration a year later) and that first impression has held true through it all. We got married at the Bowery Hotel in NYC both times, all incredible and beautiful events in their own ways, which also shows Luisa's range. She is incredible at what she does, has endless patience, and handles everything so well that we often didn't even hear about issues until it was solved already. We looked to her for guidance throughout, and she always gave us her expert opinion but was never pushy and allowed us room for our own decisions. Leading up to the wedding, she handled everything from making dress appointments, makeup/hair trials, and vendor selections, and all the communication around logistics. She has long standing relationships with fantastic vendors (who sometimes throw in some freebies), and her presence throughout both of our wedding days kept everything fully on the wheels. Whenever I was unsure of something during the day or had any issue (big/small), I was comforted by the fact that I just needed to ask Luisa about it and she had it under control. We can't be more thankful for Luisa and cannot recommend her enough.

We used Kristin Patton as our Day of Coordinator for our 8/2/25 wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process! From the moment we first connected with Kristin she was super communicative and on top of things. We planned our wedding ourselves and were really just looking for someone to help us on the actual day, but Kristin did so much more than that. She had a few Zoom calls with us in the months leading up to our wedding and she was so helpful making sure we weren’t forgetting anything, especially those small details that fly under the radar and then surprise you at the last minute. We cannot stress how helpful Kristin was on the day of our wedding - she came to my hotel bridal suite in the morning during hair and makeup and transported my dress and my husband’s tuxedo to our venue, helped organize the items for the details shots for the photographers, hung up my dress, helped me get ready and so much more. She accompanied us when we went to take our portraits at a park down the road from our venue and helped me with my dress, made sure I had water (it was a warm August day!) and was just so supportive and comforting. I’m sure there was a ton more that she did that we didn’t even notice! Kristin is dependable, efficient and responsible. I had been on the fence about hiring a DOC because I knew that the maitre d’ and team at our venue were great and I wasn’t sure we really needed one, but we are so glad that we had Kristin and wouldn’t have had it any other way! You won’t regret working with her!

From start to finish, Samantha was the heart behind our wedding day. She listened to my vision, guided me through every decision, and made sure no detail was overlooked. On the day itself, we even had a hiccup with the photographer arriving late, and Samantha stepped in, tracked everything down, and kept me calm while handling it all behind the scenes. Because of her, I was able to stay present and enjoy every second knowing she had everything under control. Her dedication, organization, scheduling and genuine care turned what could have been stressful moments into a seamless, beautiful celebration. Everything was set up perfectly and my bridal party gave the best compliments about working with her on the day of also. Truly the best choice we made for our wedding.

We have been very happily together for over 30 years. About 18 months ago we decided to celebrate that by gathering all our family and friends together for a wedding. We chose a wonderful venue with outstanding food (Jedediah Hawkins Inn) and thought we were done and did nothing else. Then 3 months before the wedding, modern days reality set in, and we panicked. We had no idea how to source essential providers (music, photography, officiant, cake, flowers…) and ours was a June wedding. So, the essential services of a wedding planner became our most important search. Somehow, we found Georgena Ryan, owner of Events Celebrated. Georgena was a Godsend. She knew and helped us contact people to provide the music we required, the photographs that let us relive the day, an officiant who made us feel like she knew us all our lives, the flowers that I loved and the perfect wedding cake. She did or advised me to do so many things that I didn’t think of completing. Seating charts, photo lists, welcome signs and decorations planning. She even packaged our favors and organized many of the floral displays, including our bridal table. Her presence and the assistance of her team made our wedding day perfect. Nothing was overlooked. Our guests were greeted and made comfortable. The venue was beautifully decorated. The vendors were managed, and we didn’t even know how much was going on in the background to make that all happen. There is no doubt that we would not have been able to organize the backyard wedding that we wanted without Rita. She is a meticulous planner, well-connected, friendly and willing to take on all types of requests. We wanted an endless cocktail style format event, had to bring in everything from port-a-potties to 20 pots of Costco hydrangeas, and needed guest transport coordinated to three different locations. Rita had creative ideas to handle all of it, and was also open to adapt to last-minute changes in plans. She was also able to connect us with a room block in the area that made it affordable for our guests to come into town. Furthermore, Rita made a point of being there the day before when the tent was set up and stayed at the house until the last vendors had packed up. All of our wedding party found her a delight to work with and had great things to say. If you are thinking about getting a wedding planner, Rita is your girl!

Roma was such a fantastic, reliable, thorough, and creative force of nature throughout my whole wedding planning process! We worked with her for partial planning, and she went above and beyond to help with everything from finding vendors to creating a wedding day timeline and of course coordinating every last detail day-of.
