She stayed calm, handled everything smoothly, and truly showed how much of a pro she is. Because of her, we were able to relax and fully enjoy the day without worrying about a thing.

Lizzie is an artist and a boss. She has a calm and easygoing nature that made planning a wedding feel less intense. She made us laugh, she provided incredible recommendations, she listened, and she provided gentle but direct feedback based on her experience to help us make decisions. On the wedding day, Lizzie created a makeshift bustle when it turns out mine was messed up. There were very few bumps (if any at all?), and if there were more, I clearly didn't find out because Lizzie had it covered. It was an incredible planning year and even better wedding and we have Lizzie to thank for that. Hire her ASAP, you will not be disappointed.

We were so grateful for Lizzie, who was the day-of coordinator for our wedding. She was such an upbeat, positive presence in the run-up to our wedding and on the day of -- exactly what we needed in the midst of the stress of wedding planning. She did a great job coordinating with our vendors and had an unflappable, can-do attitude that allowed us to weather any little hiccups in the planning process without issue. She kept us on our timeline on the wedding day (allowing us and our families to just enjoy the day) and even managed to carve-out little pockets of time in the busy evening for my husband and I to share little quiet moments together. While planning our wedding, my fiance and I were convinced we didn’t need a professional planning company to help us. Both of us had planned events in previous jobs - how different could a wedding be? Once we were a month out from the big day, we realized the small details were becoming far too overwhelming.

With only a month left before our wedding, we desperately reached out to Naturally Yours Events after being recommended them by a friend. And boy- did they come to the rescue! Their team replied to our inquiry within a day or two and we had our first phone call set up within 72 hours. We told them everything we had planned up until that point and shared some of our initial hesitancy about hiring a professional day of coordinator. Carlene let us know exactly what services would be provided and eased our panic about how last minute we had left this decision. With great confidence, we moved forward with their Honeydew Package.

This package was SO worth it! Beyond actual coordination day-of, our lead coordinator Zo provided us with planning tools that helped us stay organized and on track with all of our tasks. She also provided frequent calls to check in and held us accountable on our agreed upon due dates. She was flexible with our month-long timeline and showed up to help us in full force.

The actual day of the wedding, Zo had us running on time or AHEAD of schedule. Many brides/grooms talk about how they did not have time to really take in their weddings or have a private moment with their spouse on the actual day. This was not the case on our day at all. Zo ensured we were able to really soak in every moment by handling all the details that arose the day of. She was a superstar and we can’t recommend her enough.

We worked with Mel at NYE and we had an amazing experience! I don't think I have ever been at a wedding where people complimented the couple on how great their planner was and how smoothly the entire evening ran but it happened to us thanks to Mel! The whole day was so well planned out/thought through that we really had nothing to worry about and could just enjoy our wedding. Mel helped us stay calm in the time leading up to the wedding, checked in on us on our wedding day to make sure we were eating and communicated with our wedding party directly to make sure they were supporting us and didn't have any issue. We could go on and on but we will leave it at we couldn't recommended Mel and NYE highly enough!

We are so thankful we found Naturally Yours Events and Kristen to plan the wedding celebration of our dreams at the Chicago Cultural Center. We interviewed a lot of Chicago planners, but NYE stood out among the rest. It was immediately clear they were kind, experienced, responsive, and knew how to plan events at all budget levels (something we did not feel was true of many others we interviewed). We wanted a planning company that had experience with long-distance clients and interfaith weddings, and NYE had significant experience with both. Kristen helped us shape our vision for our ceremony and reception and then bring it to life; connected us with amazing vendors that did the most incredible work; and worked closely with us and our families to plan our Chicago celebration. Besides being hilarious and fun, Kristen is experienced, kept us on schedule and on budget, and used her time and significant expertise to build a planning process that would work for us. No idea was off the table, and we had the most fun making all our whims come to life with her. We did a full planning package with NYE so we would have support from the very start, and we were so glad we did. It is so clear that NYE surrounds itself with kind, down-to-earth fellow vendors and clients, and we are so glad to have been among them for our 2024 wedding.

Our engagement with Kristen began about three months before our big day, and from the start, she made the entire planning process so much easier to navigate. Katie Liang was our wedding coordinator and we are so grateful! She effortlessly coordinated all of our vendors and our wedding day was perfect. At the end of the day, our cheeks hurt from smiling so much. If there were any hiccups, we were not aware because the whole day was great. Katie brought us water and snacks while we were getting ready. At the end of the night, Katie cleaned everything up and herded us on to the shuttle. Katie made wedding planning stressfree and she is fun to work with!

When an event is executed flawlessly, it's most likely because someone was doing a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make sure everything goes smoothly. In our case, we were so lucky that that person was Mel. My husband and I were able to let go and revel in the celebration, and we couldn't have done that without Mel's careful coordination. She was so well organized, communicative, calm, and patient throughout the whole process. She does so much more than just show up on the day of the event. She started working with us weeks before to make sure we had everything in order for the big day (vendors, contracts, timelines, seating charts, logistics, rings, gifts, wardrobe, wedding license, photography shot lists, and on, and on, and on). As we got closer to the event, she oversaw the logistics, corresponding with all the vendors, making sure there weren't any communication gaps, and ensuring everyone knew where to go and when to be there. She and her assistant even set out all of my DIY decorations.

No matter what your budget is, hiring a day-of coordinator will help to ensure that you get the most value out of the cost of your wedding. My husband and I, our guests, and our friends were able to be fully present on our wedding day, and it was such a gift. We had time to taste the food, drink our wine, dance, and spend time with our guests, and we couldn't have done that if Mel hadn't been there to oversee all of the details throughout the day.
