Hiring Regina DiTomassi and the Amelia Cole Events team was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process.

From our very first introductory call, I was sold. Regina has an infectious energy that immediately puts you at ease. She may be small in stature, but she is an absolute powerhouse. Organized doesn't even begin to describe her. Every detail, every timeline, every vendor communication—it all felt effortless because she had already thought three steps ahead.

I originally hired a wedding planner because my mom wasn't able to be as involved as we had hoped, and most of my wedding party lived out of town. I knew I needed someone I could truly lean on. Regina became exactly that person. She filled a role that allowed me to stop worrying about logistics and instead be fully present for one of the happiest days of my life. That is an incredible gift, and one I'll always be grateful for.

On the wedding day itself, Regina was the calm center of the universe. If something didn't go exactly according to plan, I never knew about it—and that's precisely what you want in a planner. She handled everything with such grace, confidence, and composure that I was able to soak in every moment instead of wondering what came next. Everything stayed on schedule, and I never once felt like I had to manage my own wedding.

Looking back, so many of our favorite vendors came from Regina's recommendations.

By the end of the planning process, Regina no longer felt like "our wedding planner." She felt like a trusted friend—someone who was just as invested in our wedding being perfect as we were. Her warmth, professionalism, and unwavering support made what could have been a stressful season feel joyful from beginning to end.

One piece of advice for future couples: if you want your planner to go above and beyond for you, do everything you can to make their job easier, too. Be responsive. Stay organized. Send information in a thoughtful way. Wedding planning is a partnership, and Regina met every ounce of effort we put in with tenfold more in return. She was always prepared, always one step ahead, and because we trusted each other, she was able to do what she does best.

I already find myself looking for excuses to host another big event just so I have a reason to work with Regina and the Amelia Cole team again. They are simply the best, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I promise that you will not regret hiring Regina and her team! I just got back from my honeymoon and the entire time when we were reminiscing we couldn't get over how much the Amelia Cole team helped us to truly enjoy our day. They also were so helpful leading up. Right off the bat, I wanted a black and white dance floor Regina helped me find a vendor that worked easiest with my wedding venue and I was able to get the floor for a fraction of the price I was being quoted from other vendors. Then as the wedding got closer and I started to get nervous I started receiving instructions from the Amelia Cole team on what I should be doing and it was truly so easy and stress free, but I didn't even know what I didn't know! And finally on wedding day, any time someone had a question or concern, it was handled before I even knew about it. Regina was personally cleaning a drink a spilled on myself off of my wedding dress before I even realized that I had spilled the drink! Cannot recommend enough!

My fiancé and I are so grateful to have hired Regina for our wedding last month. She provided us with needed structure, helped coordinate a number of vendors, and was a sounding board for me throughout the time we worked together. She was very responsive and flexible when it came to collaborating with a number of people, especially in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Where do I even start?! Regina and the ACE Team are exactly who you need to plan your wedding. I got married 8.30.25 at the Chicago History Museum as a current resident of Arizona. So having a “out of state” wedding was something I was nervous about, not knowing what vendors to go to etc but Regina and the Team made it so so easy for me, which allowed for me to ENJOY wedding planning!! From the first call to the day of ACE was on top of it all for me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better planner and team!! I even received so many compliments from my guests on how organized the entire weekend was, again all thanks for Regina and the Team!! We didn’t have to worry about logistics, timing, or vendor coordination for even a single second. They gave us the gift of being able to enjoy our wedding, knowing everything was taken care of.

Where to begin! Regina was an essential part of our wedding planning journey. From the beginning, she was organized and set us up on a well paced, predictable schedule that allowed us to enjoy the process. By far the best reason to hire Regina is she will be your number one advocate on the day of your wedding. When we had some unexpected last minute rain, Regina coordinated getting our ceremony and cocktail hour moved indoors to a last minute location change. She is a problem solver - all while you are enjoying the day of your wedding! It was a pleasure getting to know Regina in the process - her outgoing personality is a perk! I had an idea of what I wanted for our wedding aesthetic, but couldn't picture it or figure out how to put all of the pieces together. Regina and I spent time chatting through my ideas, and she put together an entire style guide for us that turned into the wedding of our dreams. She brought my vision to life in a way I couldn't even imagine, and I can't thank her enough.
On the day of the wedding, she handled everything from the big to small details, making sure we never had to sweat anything. Anything either of us needed, she was there to take care of. We got to enjoy the best day with our people because she had everything under control. Not having to worry about any of the details was the best feeling in the world, and that was all thanks to Regina.

Weeks later, we are still getting compliments from guests saying it was “the most organized wedding they had ever been to,” and that is entirely thanks to Regina, Victoria, and Emily’s thought, care, and expertise.

Lastly, we also truly enjoyed meeting with Regina on a monthly basis throughout the planning process. She made those meetings something to look forward to, and now that the wedding is over, we miss her!!

Your planner is a huge part of your wedding day. Like your photographer, your planner is with you for a significant amount of time during the day.
