Creations in Catering is amazing. Joanna made our wedding all possible. We were planning our destination wedding from Toronto Canada and needed help with everything. Joanna stepped up and contacted all of our vendors, referred some as well, organized the entire day from set up, to clean up. They created a custom menu for us. She even made our wedding favors. We can not thank her and creations in catering enough. Through out the reception she made sure our guests and us were taken care of, and even had time to make us a plate of food so we could eat throughout the busy day. Our toddler was also taken care of (she even cut the food in to small pieces easier for her to eat). Joanna and her team really do look out for every detail. Highly recommend. Creations and Catering gave us what we wanted for our Wedding from the beginning to the end. We worked with wedding coordinator Herby Yamamoto. We wouldn't ask to work with anyone else. We had every planned and finalized, until it stormed the day of our wedding. I wasn't on property of Lanikuhonua until my ceremony. Almost the entire layout was changed but was actually changed for the better. The ceremony was moved under the (40'x100') tent along with (28) tables and chairs, our banana foster station, and musicians. During the Wedding Creations and Caterings discretely rearranged the tent by taking out the ceremony to make more room for our reception. The bartender was awesome by keeping our drinks flowing while keeping our line short. From the beginning to end Herby and his crew was wonderful. We RECOMMEND them to ANYONE and EVERYONE. Herb and his team were on it from the moment I arrived. Herb's team picked up the slack of my coordinator who didn't do her job whatsoever. They were waiting on me (the bride) and if I needed anything they were there to fix the problem. They were basically doing the job that my day of coordinator and team were supposed to do.

For the food, I really enjoyed the buffet dinner. The appetizers were a bit cold, especially the chicken skewers, so I didn't eat any of it because it didn't taste fresh, but the buffet was quite amazing for the amount that we paid.

The only thing that we were confused with was the contract- I think things need to be laid out more clearly when it comes down to exactly what we are paying for (at bottom of contract). I actually got confused with the amount that we were paying for each meal because it was stated as one price at the top and then another price at the bottom, so I think everything just needs to be matched up and made clear.

Finally, something that my husband and I really appreciated was the fact that Herb's team went out of their way to put some bales of hay and barrels in another area where it was initially placed, but since my coordinator didn't follow my directions, it was placed somewhere else.

So, overall, I want to say a HUGE thank you to Herb and his team saving my coordinators shortcomings-everything was great for catering!
