Terri is the best! I purchased my dress, veil and shoes from Terri back in October. I had been to two other stores before visiting Terri. Each appointment is private so you are alone with Terri in the store while you shop and try on different dresses. When I arrived she asked me what I had liked so far that day...she happened to have the same dress I fell in love with at a prior store but for almost $1,000 less!

Two months ago my Grandmother decided to buy me a different veil as a gift. Terri was extremely flexible and removed the veil I had purchased from my bill for me with no issues.

When my dress was ready to be shipped she emailed me immediately with all the details and to schedule my first fitting.

If you want personal, friendly service this is the place to go! She is passionate about what she does and goes above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of.

I found Terri Lynn Bridal through Yelp reviews and Wedding Wire and checked it out on a whim after shopping in a few stores my friends recommended. I loved nearly every dress I tried here, the dresses were at a comfortable price point, and I ended up buying a beautiful strapless silk Legends by Ramona Keveza gown. Lana did an excellent job with alterations and when I fell in love with a rather pricey veil, they happily gave me a 50% discount. I'm so happy because it really pulled everything together. I received so many compliments on both the dress and veil, I can't wait to see our professional photos.

This shop appears charming with a small but stellar selection of dresses but beware of questionable practices. I bought my dress here and received a beautiful dress and the alternations were done but it was not worth the aggravation.

The salesperson (she told me she wasn't Terri but I never saw another salesperson and speaking to "Terri" on the phone sounded like I was speaking to the same woman.) ran hot and cold. She was kind sometimes and rude and discourteous other times. I was told I should pay for my flat fee dress alteration in cash. The salesperson told me I would come in after my dress came in to pick my veil and the salesperson wrote on my card I was to get a free veil with my purchase. This was something I had to remind them of once the time came and they started to rattle off veil prices. Once it was too late for me to order a veil anywhere else it turned out that there was only one free veil and they would not credit it's value towards the veil I picked. When I expressed this was not clearly communicated to me I was curtly told that I had remembered incorrectly; which reading other reviewer's experiences it seems most of Terri Lynn Bridal clientele have been told they have faulty memories.

Instead of the usual 2 -3 fitting appointments I had five. I believe these extra appointments were needed because of a significant language barrier between myself and the seamstress. Each time I went in something was done incorrectly or not at all. I spoke to the salesperson about this and was told there was not language issue and maybe the problem was with me. The salesperson came to the next fitting where I witnessed her yell in a very unprofessional manner at the seamstress when she did not understand her.

Ultimately, my dress was done one week before my wedding. The alterations fee was waived due to all the issues but I literally cried when I saw the quality. The bottom of the lace dress was unevenly chopped and reattached to cut the length instead of doing so at the waist seam. Also, I found several holes in the lace which I had to tell my photographer to shoot around when he was taking detail shots of my dress.

Overall, I cannot recommend this vendor.

I went to Terri Lynn just to start the wedding dress shopping process but ended up finding my dress there. She is absolutely amazing and the one-on-one experience you get when trying on dresses is wonderful! This is a small boutique with a lot of dress choices and not a huge warehouse that's over-crowded with sales people. Loved it!

I tried on 75 dresses at 12 different places so I can very confidently say that Terri Lynn's is one of the best bridal boutiques in the area. They carry a smaller amount of dresses but each one is exquisitely beautiful. (I feel this preferable to a larger place that carries a ton of dresses that are just average or ridiculously expensive.) What's also different about Terri Lynn's is that she only books one appointment at a time so you have her full attention. I'm thankful they book this way because I had a very specific vision in my head of what I wanted, but when I tried on these types of dresses, nothing was working. So she sized up my body type and suggested I try on a dress that was a bit different, and it was PERFECT! It was her experience and attentiveness to my needs that allowed me to find the perfect dress. After purchasing the dress they let me come in again and try it on (during their busy season) just to show my Mom who was visiting from out of town. The seamstress, Lana, is also outstanding! We did 3 fittings and by the end my dress fit like a glove -- she also sewed in cups, adjusted the sash and was just delightful to work with. I also liked that I went in twice before I purchased my dress and was never pressured to buy. Overall it was a low-stress and truly enjoyable experience thanks to the wonderful ladies at Terry Lynn's.

Terri Lynn has beautiful, stylish dresses - unlike any I saw at the 6 other bridal shops I went to - in an affordable range - from about $2000. While not a huge selection, they offerings were unique, included a range of styles and looked as expesive as those I saw in the $7,000-$10,000 range. After a few slight bumps in the process - a few emails that took a while to get a response to and showing up for my first fitting to find the shop closed (the seamstress had gotten stuck in bad traffic) it was smooth sailing. It's a very personal shop as Terri only takes one appt at a time and she personally oversaw my final fittings, making slight adjustments like to the ribbon sash, which helped perfect the fit and look. The personal touch can't be beat - that combined with the high quality selection and affordable cost makes this a go-to place.

Terri Lynn Bridal is wonderful!!! I had an extremely positive experience finding my dress here. I love that it is a smaller boutique. It was so nice to have the shop to ourselves (me, my mom & sister, and the stylist)--quiet, intimate, relaxing, low key. Their selection is EXCELLENT for being a smaller shop--an amazing range of all types of dresses. I found the perfect dress for me. Terri Lynn was so gracious in letting me try it on multiple times before 100% committing, and they were very accommodating with the fittings--two in one week because I was an out of town bride. LOVE Terri Lynn!!!

I had the best experience at Terri Lynn Bridal. From my very first visit until my last fitting, I received such amazing service. Terri Lynn was so easy to get in touch with and more than a pleasure to work with. Terri Lynn and the entire staff were extremely friendly, polite, helpful and just great to be around. Without a doubt, Terri Lynn went above and beyond to help me get everything I need - earrings, hair, anything I needed help with Terri Lynn was there! The store is smaller than some of the other shops around, and by appt only but I think that made my experience even better. The one on one attention was exactly what I needed and wanted! I loved EVERYTHING about my experience with Terri Lynn and can't thank the staff enough for all their help and support!

I absolutely loved my Romona Keveza dress from Terri Lynn Bridal. Although Terri Lynn has a smaller selection of dresses, I found that their dresses were prettier and more affordable than the dresses I found at the other four stores I went to. I loved many of the dresses at this salon and had a clear favorite that I bought on my second trip to the store. My dress was delayed being shipped to the store that got me a bit nervous, but the store's owner kept in contact with me to make sure I knew the status of my dress. It ended up coming in a couple months before the wedding which was plenty of time to do alterations. Lana did a great job with alterations and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend checking out their dresses!

I would just like to comment on how brilliant my experience was with Terri lynn Bridal.I live in the uk,and had been searching for my dream cymbeline dress,only to find it on preowned ,at terri lynn's,after several email's and a lot of patience on they're behalf ! They kindly ship dmy dress over to me ,which i could track all the way and it arrived safe and sound with no problems at all.It was a huge risk but the dress is perfect ,all i need to have done is to have it taken in .I would honestly highly recommend them to anyone ,they are professional ,honest,and provide a wonderful service.
I would like to thank them ,again and again,because lets face it your wedding gown is probably the most important dress you'll ever buy.

As someone mentioned in a previous review, the service at Terri Lynn Bridal could use some work. When I went to buy my dress, I mentioned to the saleswoman that I had seen the same dress somewhere else for less money, and she snapped quickly back "I don't negotiate" in a very snippy and unprofessional tone. I bought my dress there anyway, and when I went to schedule my dress fittings I had additional problems with customer service. The salesperson was fighting with me over the appropriate schedule for my dress fittings. I was going to be traveling a lot for work and I wanted to schedule my fitting sooner than she thought was necessary, and she fought me tooth and nail about it. She was rude and nasty and tried to blame me for everything! What ever happened to the customer being right?!?!

However, despite the poor customer service, I still really like the shop. They had a great selection of dresses at great prices. I bought my dream dress here and was completely satisfied with the dress. I had the alterations done by their seamstress, Svetlana, and she did an amazing job and the dress fit like a glove. I also ordered my veil from them and was satisfied with that as well (although they gave me a bit of a hard time about that as well). In sum, despite the attitudes of the salespeople, they sell really beautiful dresses.

It is hard to be negative here as my dress was gorgeous and people told me it was perfect on me, but there were some issues. When signing the contract and paying the first half of the dollar amt I was told I would be notified before they charged my credit card for the second half of the dress when it arrived into their store. Well the dress arrived a week earlier than expected and my credit card was charged without them ever telling me. When I called to discuss this I was told that I was wrong b/c I had signed the contract and they had notified me of this policy. I said I was never notified and rechecked my email and asked them to resend me the email they had sent me to tell me the dress had arrived. When I received that email I noticed she had not sent it to me the first time, but had sent it to herself. An easy mistake, but the professional thing to do here would have been to admit they were wrong and apologize, not blame me for it. It was something very minor, but when your wedding dress is involved emotions obviously run high. Great dress and price, but I think some stores forget this is your wedding, the best day of your life, not a business deal!

Pick a Salon that is all about YOU...and only YOU..Terri Lynn Bridal booked one person at a time..so you aren't fighting for attention. She has incredible designers. I chose a Cymbeline dress..OUT OF THIS WORLD..I want to wear it everyday!! AND HER SAMPLE SALE PRICES ARE RIDICOUSLY LOW! Everyone there is very patient and genuinely NICE...they aren't high pressure salemen looking for a commission!!! YOu are missing out if you don't visit Terri Lynn Bridals. Get the dress and the attention you deserve!

I purchased my bridal gown, veil, and bridesmaids dresses at Terri Lynn Bridal. I love that she only does one appointment at a time, because it gives you free range to try on any dress in the store. During my initial shopping I went to a bunch of stores in the area, and I felt that Terri had the best selection. I fell in love with a Marisa dress and it was just perfect for my wedding day. For bridesmaids dresses we chose some from the Vineyard line that Terri carries. I highly recommend Terri Lynn Bridal to brides in the DC area.

Terri was exceptional to work with! I came to her two months before my wedding. While other vendors told me I had to buy a dress off the rack, Terri was able to provide an entire collection of new dresses that could be made and delivered prior to our wedding day. My dress came in two weeks early and Terri was able to provide flawless alterations. She is honest and knowledgable as to what will and will not look good and offers her suggestions in a non-imposing manner. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her. The botique is beautiful!

I went to many bridal shops in the area, but Terri's is by far the best one. Not only is her shop adorable but it also has a fantastic selection of dresses, and Terri is a pleasure to work with. The only issue I had was with my alterations, the top of my dress ended up a little bit too tight and the hook on my zipper ended up tearing off half way through the reception and my mother had to sew it back on.
