April was the best money we spent on the entire wedding!!! Seriously. We hired her for the day of. Through out the process she answered all our questions and provided suggestions on how we could have what we wanted. For example, I do not drink so it was really important to me that my guests have a choice between champagne and sparkling cider. April worked with our reception venue to make sure this happened. She also handled the few bumps that came up throughout the day. Some of which I wasn't even aware until weeks later. She was always responsive the emails and phone calls. She provided us with a preferred vendor list, all of which were outstanding. She has a lot of contacts in the area to help you make your wedding what you want. She was never pushy about her ideas.

April was fabulous! I only had her with me for the final two weeks before the wedding and mainly the day before and day of and there is no way we could have done it without her. She made sure that all of my hard work and planning was successfully follwed through with and she made the whole day go so smoothly. If there were any bumps along the way, I never knew about them and she made my day wonderful. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a stress free, beautiful wedding day that they can look back on and smile.

I see it posted often on the knot that day of coordinators are worth the money and it couldn’t be truer. April and her assistant were a vital part of our wedding. I can’t imagine how we would have pulled it off without them. April’s attention to detail, experience, and knowledge was excellent. She did everything for us; run our rehearsal, tip vendors, set up pew decorations, finished packaging our favors (including an early morning trip to AC Moore) and too many more tasks to list. She knew how to do my bustle when none of us knew how. She whipped out a curling iron and re-curled my hair when the horrible weather wreaked havoc on it. She made sure we were completely taken care of. Both my mother and mother-in-law, among other family members had expressed reservations about hiring a day of coordinator (and some had expressed downright disapproval). Every one of them said they couldn’t have imagined the wedding without Details Wedding Planning. Even my father, who is the type of guy who notices only the food at weddings, commented on how smoothly the wedding went. It was more impressive that she was able to work so well with our vendors, with whom she was unfamiliar before contacting and confirming them for our wedding (she is from Albany, our wedding was in Staten Island). Because of April, we were able to enjoy our wedding with no worries. I highly recommend her.

There is only one word to describe Aprils work: Phenomenal. She was there for advice and calming down every step of the way. The days before my wedding she took complete control and I was able to step back and enjoy the moments. My wedding day went smooth and perfect. I trusted April to take care of everything and did not have one worry the day of my wedding. My husband and I are forever thankful for April and how she made our special day.
