What are your tasting hours?
We schedule tastings Monday through Thursdays starting at 6pm and on select Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 6pm
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
We start our pricing at $4 per serving, including fondant covered cakes.
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
We do include the top tier into the price of the cake. We do not freeze cakes at our bakery so we have a hard time suggesting freezing the top of the cake to be eaten a year later.
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
We pride ourselves in providing custom cakes. We do not have a catalog from which to choose from, we do have a book of past cakes we have made to show our ability. If a bride wants us to recreate a design we will not say no, but we will make sure that it is exactly what fits their individual style and preferences.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
It depends on the design of the cake. Cakes that have sugar flowers will be started weeks in advance. The cakes themeselves are baked 2-3 days prior to the wedding day.
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend?
We don't have a set number of cakes that we will do in a weekend. It depends more on number of servings (size) and design. We have done as few as 1 and as many as 5.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
We love to work with the bride's florist to provide the flowers for the cake. It will ensure that the cake flowers will match the rest of the reception.
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
We have a variety of cake pedestals and stands available which can be rented to enhance the display of the cake.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
yes, of course!. We actually recommend we deliver the wedding cake. Our delivery prices, including set-up, start at $30.
