Souffle! is a small operation, and I happened to contact them on moving week, so responsiveness was a little slow initially, but after all that dust settled, things were totally smooth. The owners were perfectly happy to experiment making different flavors of vegan cakes prior to our taste test (super important to me!), and the cake we decided on turned out *delicious*, and captured the simple rustic elegance look I was going for. Everyone wanted more cake (at least two people snacked on the crumbs as they cleaned up the cake table after the wedding), so I call that a highly successful wedding cake. On top of the flexibility in making vegan cakes, they traveled an hour to meet me for a taste test and then to deliver the cake with no exorbitant fees.
