Pretty Sweet is owned and operated by Musarrat Afshan, and the new retail location is located at 350 Palladio Parkway in Folsom. Upon graduating with a degree in Pastry Arts from New York’s Institute of Culinary Education, Musarrat discovered her true passion – cake decorating. She has studied under master cake decorators Elisa Strauss of Confetti Cakes, and Lauri Ditunno of Cake Alchemy. Musarrat also attended an intensive workshop at Valrhona Brooklyn in 2016 under renowned Pasty Chef Nathaniel Reid, focusing on entremets, petit gateaux, and tarts.

Musarrat has been creating beautiful and delicious cakes for the past 12 years.
