We ordered mini fruit tarts for our wedding rehearsal lunch (which were delicious) and were extremely impressed with how our wedding cake turned out! In all honestly we just pulled some leftover cake out of the freezer two months later and it's still as delicious as on the day of. Not to mention the STUNNING floral design they created. 10/10 would recommend.

She patiently answered all of my questions and worked closely with us to find options that fit perfectly within our budget. Susan was an absolute rockstar, going above and beyond with number crunching to make sure everything was just right!

They coordinated drop off at our venue which appeared to go smoothly because I had not a clue when they arrived and when they left - they communicated with our coordinator and venue manager which really helped alleviate some day of stressors.

The cake and desserts were beautiful and absolutely delicious! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the dessert selection, and most of it was gone by the end of the night - which is exactly what we hoped for! We even managed to save and freeze a few treats for later. We were delighted with our wedding services from Freeport, from beginning to end. The take-home tasting was easy to navigate, and a brilliant idea! Our in-person consultation was professional, straightforward, and fun. The bakery communicated with our event coordinator, so we didn't have to get involved with set-up and tear-down details, so that was nice to get something off our plates. Most importantly!!: The cake and dessert trays were absolutely delicious! We have received so many compliments from our guests about the cake and desserts! Would 100% recommend Freeport Bakery!

Amazing job! We ordered a small cake along with mini cupcakes, mini apple pies (which aren't even so mini!) for our fall theme, and mini chocolate drizzled coconut macaroons that were flourless for our gluten-free friends. Everything was delicious! Our cake was lemon poppyseed and people said it was the best lemon they've ever had. They let me change some of the final numbers and the cake stand with ease. Someone came out to my car and helped me unload the cake stands I had rented/carried them in for me. Highly recommend.

We used Freeport Bakery for our wedding cake and they did not disappoint. The whole tasting experience and meeting with the cake designer was fun and there were so many things we could customize. The cake itself was beautiful and absolutely delicious! We were able to do two different filling flavors with the cake and buttercream and it made for a really fun, spring-time cake. We got SO many compliments on the cake and we froze it and ate it for weeks after the wedding! We are so excited to get our anniversary mini cake on our first anniversary!
We also got the eclairs and lemon bars from them which almost completely gone by the end of the night!

Our cake did slide, as our venue was a few minutes past their recommended distance, and the planner who picked it up drove it for us, so our florist added some flowers to hide it, but you never would have known, and it still tasted incredible!

We've been customers of Freeport Bakery for years (the fruit tart is my husband's go-to "birthday cake"; the shadow fresa is his sister's favorite) and made the excellent decision to order our wedding cake and dessert bar through them, for our wedding at Scribner Bend on 6/10/2023.

The process was super straightforward. We did an at-home tasting to decide on what cake flavors and dessert bar items we wanted. We then had a phone consultation where we reviewed the ordering process, quantities of each item, and payment specifics. The paperwork and payments were exactly as expected.

We ended up with more "yes" RSVPs than expected and Freeport was able to accommodate a larger cake and more dessert bar items than originally anticipated, with no fuss. Averi and Susan were so professional and knowledgeable. I never felt like they were trying to sell us more, and at the same time there was no issue when I asked to bump up the size of our order only a few weeks before the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, the delivery was super smooth, with no involvement on our end. The cake looked exactly how we had requested, and tasted fantastic. We got the lemon poppyseed cake with strawberry cream filling and Italian buttercream frosting, which was perfect for a summer wedding. The dessert bar items (lemon bars, cream puffs, fruit tarts, two kinds of cookie) were devoured by our guests in record time. Every item was well received.

I'm so glad that we ordered our wedding desserts through Freeport Bakery, and highly recommend them for anyone planning their wedding.

After looking at numerous vendors online, I kept coming back to Freeport Bakery. Their website had a ton of photos of different types and styles of cakes and it really showed that they had the skills and talent to create just about anything! The staff were super friendly on the phone during our consult and communication and payment was super easy and straightforward. Our tasting was delicious - all of the cakes, fillings and icings were incredible, it was so hard to choose! On the day, our cake was delicious, moist and fresh! We took some home after the wedding to eat a few days later and it tasted JUST as good as the day we got it! Don't hesitate to book Freeport Bakery for your wedding or other events - their cakes are incredible and taste amazing!!

Freeport Bakery is always amazing! As soon as I got engaged I knew I would be going to them for the desserts at my wedding and they did not disappoint. We ordered a 6” cut cake for my husband and me and a variety of desserts for the dessert bar. There were so many positives about the experience and we only had one issue. Their website is very helpful and provides relevant information about their offerings. The consultants are very knowledgeable at the consultation meeting advising us on how many desserts we should order for the number of expected guests. On our wedding day, they delivered our desserts, arranged them, and added floral décor to our cake. Everything looked amazing! They were great with communication about the delivery and storage process and how to return rental items after the wedding.

The only issue we had was with the tasting process. The pick-up times for the tasting kits are inconvenient if you work a 9-5 job during the week. They do offer Saturday times to pick up your tasting kit, but those seemed to go quickly. When I did pick up my tasting kit there was a mix-up and I got part of someone else’s order and part of my order was not given to me. This was not discovered until after I had already left the bakery. We eventually got the correct order. We did appreciate that the tasting sizes were generous which was great for mixing and matching different flavors and also re-tasting to be sure we knew what we wanted to pick.
