Wedding Caterers in North Carolina

Erin, David, and their entire team are the BEST! We cannot recommend them highly enough- hiring them to cater our wedding was one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning. They curated a perfect menu for us full of fresh seasonal dishes, and we had tons of guests comment that it was the best meal they had ever had at a wedding. Erin & David also gave us the opportunity to do an intimate menu tasting with our families a few months prior to our wedding to choose our final menu, which was such a special experience. My husband and I still talk about how amazing the food was, and how grateful we are to have worked with Friends & Neighbors. Truly- cannot say enough good things!

Black Eyed Susan took care of everything we needed for our catering and bartending on the day of our wedding. All the food was cooked on site so everything was super fresh. They had amazing appetizers for our cocktail hour. The mashed potatoes with leek butter at dinner was the biggest hit!!!!

I cannot recommend CM and Middle of the Island catering enough—our food was truly one of the highlights of the entire wedding. From the start, CM was so easy to work with and incredibly responsive, which made such a difference throughout the planning process. The food itself was incredible. We had so many guests come up to us throughout the night saying it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had—which says a lot. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed. The cocktail hour apps were a huge hit, and they handled our buffet beautifully—keeping everything stocked, organized, and running smoothly the entire night. They were also great about communicating allergy information and making guests feel comfortable. Beyond the food, the service was just as amazing. Their team was professional, attentive, and kept everything running so seamlessly. From cocktail hour to dinner service, everything flowed on time, which made such a difference in the overall experience. They truly played a huge part in making our day feel so special, and I’m so grateful we chose them. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. I would recommend Middle of the Island Catering to anyone!!

One word, DELICIOUS! They have so many yummy options on their menu it was hard to narrow it down. Luckily, we got to go in for a tasting and got to try our options for our wedding and then some. The tasting helped us solidify what we wanted to order. Usually, I am not overly impressed with buffet style food at weddings. This was entirely different! We got comments all night about how good the food was and even today (several days later), are still getting people telling us how great the food was. Would definitely recommend ART for all your catering needs.

Best bang for the buck! We had plated dinners for our wedding with two meal choices, the salmon and the petite beef tender. To this day, our guest have been raving about the beef tender. My husband and I even enjoy a plate of leftovers a few days after the wedding and it was STILL juicy and flavorful. The Thyme Savor team was very helpful through the whole planning process and made the catering part a breeze. We highly recommend them!

Visions Catering made our wedding day unforgettable. The food was outstanding — flavorful, beautifully presented, and far better than typical “wedding food.” Our guests raved about it all night. From the moment we met Chef Wes at the OBX Wedding Expo, we knew Red Sky was something special. His energy and passion were undeniable, and once we tasted the food, our search for the perfect caterer was over. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Chef Wes went above and beyond throughout the process, even surprising us by personally showing up to our tasting. His guidance in curating the menu was both professional and personal, making the entire experience seamless and genuinely fun, especially while planning from across the country. On our wedding day, the Red Sky team exceeded every expectation. Their hospitality and service were flawless, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food. During sunset photos, they surprised us with a charcuterie of our hors d’oeuvres (such an unforgettable touch!), and the beignets were an absolute hit. Red Sky didn’t just provide a meal, they created an experience we’ll never forget.

Ricky was very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was delicious! He catered our family reunion and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him.

My Wife and I chose them to cater our wedding reception and they did an amazing job. All of our guests were raving about how great the food was. We went with a unique menu for this reception and they absolutely nailed it. Their servers were super friendly and wished us congratulations on our special day. I loved that they were so kind to my wife and expressed their congratulations and made the day extra special for us. They packed us a sampling of everything so we could have a meal later once we got home that night. We are so glad we chose them to cater our event.

You know how everyone always says "nobody remembers the food at weddings"? That was not the case with Cannon Catering. Everyone remembered the food at our wedding. Our guests talked about how great the food was well after the wedding day. Just thinking about their mushroom puffs, mashed potatoes and chicken, I can taste it. Cannon was fantastic. Letting us do drop-and-chill with our beer/wine was a game changer. They had a big plate of food waiting for us at our table and were on top of it when it came to drinks. Not only that but their people were fantastic. Everybody loved the bartender. He was a fan favorite. We heard over and over again how much fun he was, how he got into conversations with guests. Canon made our day so special. Highly highly highly recommend.
