What a WONDERFUL wedding caterer. When we booked our wedding, we knew we wanted to serve yummy but casual food, and it was a dream come true to be able to serve Original Q Shack barbecue through Southern Harvest.

We absolutely loved the staff — Rachelle and Lisa made every dream come true. It was an INCREDIBLE value for what we paid, and we were able to feed 138 people plus vendors in under 45 minutes, with plenty of food for second helpings. No one went hungry. Every single person I saw that night and afterward told me: "That food was AMAZING." And I can honestly say I have never heard people rave about the food at a wedding that much.

You know how people say to the married couple, you always forget to eat on your wedding day? We did NOT forget to eat — in fact, I was stuffed, and I remember every single bite. It was that good.

Lisa was an invaluable partner in the planning process, and we just adore her and are so grateful to the whole Southern Harvest team.

The one negative was that our vegetarian entree option was not as good the day-of as during the taste testing; but the professionalism of the staff and our LOADED plates at our sweetheart table were enough to counter that.

Natalie was my point of contact through the planning process and she was so kind and helpful. From the tasting, to the day-of meals and appetizers, Southern Harvest left us so impressed. Because of their partnership with our venue, we initially selected Southern Harvest for the discount and convenience. However, we were blown away by how fantastic everything was! Rachelle was so friendly and helpful as we worked with our menu and our budget. We did chicken breast and brisket and both options were fantastic! We also had pre purchased beer/wine served through them and they were very flexible with some specific requests we had. I appreciated that they seemed to value our experience over dollar signs. Would absolutely look to hire them again for future events!

Another note: We had prepurchased beer/wine and somehow had started running out FAST. During cocktail hour, they came to let us know and gave us the option of moving to consumption with beer/wine they had available. It was great having that as a backup so we didn't run out!

Southern Harvest Catering helped to coordinate catering for our wedding this past weekend and it was amazing. Food was incredible, bar service was great, Rachelle was super communicative and the serving and wait staff did an incredible job. We were so pleased with everything and couldn't have asked for anything better. We truly recommend Southern Harvest for anyone's special event.

We had our tasting with Tom at Southern Harvest and would recommend them to anyone. From the moment we sat down, he shared the goal was for us to have a wonderful date as he served the options we had chosen for the tasting. The food was AMAZING. We could not decide which was best and are even contemplating having them cater our rehearsal, too, because of the quality of food they offer by a great company. The price is very affordable with many options to personalize our wedding day exactly the way we want to.

Southern Harvest promised an outstanding wedding catering service and food and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious. The staff were attentive and they were on point with everything we needed. I highly recommend them.

I truly enjoyed the entire process from start to finish working with the Southern Harvest team for my wedding. Rachelle was amazing to work with to get everything set up on the front end and respond to my various emails with questions leading up to the wedding. The staff who were on site for our wedding were simply wonderful. My mom even mentioned how kind and attentive one of the staff was to make sure she had some specific appetizers and he brought them directly to her. Aside from awesome people, the food was incredible! Everyone we talked to mentioned how much they enjoyed the food. We loved it too. Service was excellent all throughout the wedding. I've even had people 3 weeks after the wedding tell me how much they loved the food and got several specific compliments on the flank steak, the grilled crostini with brie and blueberry compote, the potato boats, and the cauliflower risotto! Many guests went back for seconds. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!!

Working with Southern Harvest is the best decision I made for our wedding.

Our tasting was my absolute favorite part of wedding planning. We were given the experience of an intimate date night, all while trying the most incredible food. Tom and Rachelle helped us tailor our menu to be able to include all the things we wanted and still satisfy different dietary needs of guests.

On the actual wedding day, service was smooth and efficient. My husband and I were checked in on throughout the cocktail hour, dinner, and evening, to be sure we were well fed and had all that we needed. We were also packed a separate meal to be able to eat back at our hotel since the chaos of a wedding can leave so many couples from eating.

I would recommend Southern Harvest over and over again and look forward to the opportunity to work with them in the future.
